Vintage, Walnut Herman Miller, George Nelson Designed 2 Pedestal Executive Office Desk and was most likely built between 1958 and 1963. The desk is from the Herman Miller Company’s Executive Office Group 8000 Series and is model 8865. The left pedestal has two drawers, an upper storage drawer and a lower file drawer. The right side is a 3-drawer pedestal. The"floating" walnut veneer desktop measures 84 inches long and 36 inches wide, 1-1/4 inch thick, and has a height of 29.5 inches. The attached privacy screen is in excellent condition. The desk is marked on two of the drawer handles with the Herman Miller name and logo, and has labels inside of two drawers that designate it as a George Nelson design. All of the drawers open and close smoothly and can be locked. There are 3 keys for the 2 locks. There are some small scratches, drill holes, tiny areas of veneer loss, an area of white paint, and areas of light fading. Holes were drilled into the top front of each pedestal to install plastic brackets to hold electric cords and two holes were drilled into the bottom of each pedestal. Overall this Herman Miller/George Nelson walnut desk is in very good vintage condition. See Photos) This desk easily disassembles for transport. The top can be removed with 6 bolts and the two pedestals are attached to the modesty screen with a few screws. According to the 1961 Herman Miller product brochure the 84 x 36 x 1-1/4 inch desk top is the largest available and weighs 110 pounds. This item is for pick-up only. RARE Singer "Spinet" Trapezoid Sewing Machine #74 Vintage Cabinet Table Desk
These tables are RARE and there has not been one for sale on Ebay in quite some time. This is a great table. I am selling the 301 Featherweight Singer and Cradle separately. The wood shows age but it looks good and is still solid. It is the walnut version. The top is scuffed but the inside desk surfaces are very nice and the entire piece looks great. There is a picture of the wood grain on the inside surface of the foldout. There is a place to mount the pedal and use the thigh pedal that is pictured(it works) I had the 301A in the cabinet and the pedal functioned well with the thigh pedal. I am not sure of the exact year but the serial number from inside the trim is 132465, there is a pic. I get compliments on this table all the time. It is a nice piece of furniture that I would like to keep. I'm selling it to minimize before I move. ... moreThe lower ends of the legs of the cabinet are encased in metal to prevent the wood from being damaged. This cabinet also allows a better sitting position center line to your machine because the left table leg moves out of the sewer's way to support the folding leaf of the desk. Many sewing desks leave you with a table leg in the way of where you would like to place your left knee and Singer fixed that problem with this table. The sewing machine and cradle are NOT INCLUDED. Hinges to mount a cradle are INCLUDED. They are shown in the pick, the brass colored hinges. The wood accents look like birds eye maple but I can't be sure. The writing surface of the desk has a coral colored marble insert. I've had this desk for about 20 years and I bought it originally from an antiques store in Texas. I really love it but it's just to large for our home. This is a great looking seagull in flight desk or mantle display that is made exclusively for GREAT CITY TRADERS of San Francisco. California. The seagull and connection is made of heavy brass and it sits on a dark green speckled granite base. The seagull attaches to the"c" shaped holder with a screw so it can be moved into different flying positions. I am told this is a mid to late 1970 piece and research on GREAT CITY TRADERS shows that to be accurate. It is labeled on the bottom felt. The seagull wing span is about 7 3/4 inches across. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall. The granite base is 4 inches by 2 inches and about 1/2 inch thick.

Two fountain pen holder mounted on a marble base. Base measuring approximately 7 1/8 x 3 inches and 3/4 of an inch thick. Some small chips in the marble as shown. Vintage Industrial Repurposed Desk Articulating Lamp Single Board Top STEAMPUNK
For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is an Antique repurposed Industrial Desk. This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND. Custom made Desk. It started its life as a Machinist Lathe Cabinet and has ended up with a beautiful single CYPRESS BOARD Top. The board is 22" wide x 1" thick and has absolutely stunning grain. The board has trim positioned on all 4 edges from the same board to give it the finished look. The Desk has 3 heavy metal drawers on sliders which open/ close easily and have original brass knob hardware and locks. The brass knobs/ pulls are spring activated and come with the keys for locking security. The Articulating lamp is the lamp that was on the piece in the machinist shop so I kept it with the piece and it makes a fabulous lamp- illuminating beautifully the grain in the wood. The Lamp comes with the protective rubber hood ... morewhich is removable should you choose to do so. I am not sure the lamp is original from manufacturer but has been with the piece for over 50 years according to previous owner. The Desk Cabinet has the original green paint with an awesome rustic look to it. I have designed and installed the desk top so that it is easily removable should you ever choose to do so. It is secured by 6 large screws from underneath and when these are removed, the whole desk top will easily slide up and off the lamp pole. Following are the dimensions: Height: 33 1/4 inches Width: 55 3/4 inches Depth: 23 1/2 inches Height including the lamp Post: 54" Weight: estimate 100-125 pounds. I do not have a good way to weigh it so this is just an estimate NOTE: The Lamp pole is welded in place so is not removable for shipping. I can remove the Lamp. HELLO and thanks for looking. Here is a fantastic antique desk lever fill fountain pen and holder. Pen is marked EVERSHARP INC. MADE IN U.S.A. The nib is a PARKER but is pretty much useless as you can see. Pen has the DOUBLE CHECKS. I'm not sure if the holder is an EVERSHARP but came with the pen when purchased at auction. Don't see any name on it. Base looks like stone but when you look at the bottom is kind of seems like it is some sort of metal? Felt is worn and the holder part shows damage but what a great looking pair. Base is about 3 3/4" across and the pen is about 7 1/2" long. This belongs in a nice collection! Vintage Art Deco Mantle Desk Clock Weird Quartz 3 Piece Ceramic Unique Time
Vintage Art Deco Mantle Clock This is the strangest clock I have ever seen. I have no idea where it came from or how old it is. It is probably fairly modern based on the quartz movement. But still really weird. I got it at an estate sale, and the family had no idea where it came from. It appears to be made of some kind of ceramic material or maybe plastic. The only flaw shows an off white color material. The leafy collar is metal. It comes apart into 4 pieces by simply unscrewing the head from the base and pulling the movement from the head. The bottom of the base is felt covered. It has a quartz movement, and does keep perfect time. I will include the battery which is pictured. It measures 12" high by 8" wide at the leafy part, with a 4 1/2" base and weighs about 2 pounds. Cigar Box Mason Jar Lamp for Table or Desk ~ Vintage Style ~ steampunk
Each one of these lamps is unique because each one is built with previously used items. The small chest style cigar boxes aren't the right shape to use for building guitars. So I make lamps with them instead. It's pretty rare that I get two that are exactly the same size. Then a previously used jar is added as a globe. So some of them are marked Kerr, some of them are marked Ball, some are just marked with measurements and some aren't marked at all. So the lamps end up with different styles of globes. Then a switch is added. I like toggle and rotary switches because they give it a more vintage look. Then I choose one of three different bulbs. These look great on a desk or table. The'candle' style bulbs make great mood lighting. The other bulbs are great for reading by or whole room lighting.
