The piece is in amazing condition, with very ... morelittle sign of wear at all. There are a few small areas on the ornately carved back where there have been some small repairs to the ornately carved areas. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece. It most likely dates to the middle to last part of the 19th Century. It does have some cracking in the front writing surface of the desk, but these areas are superficial thus far. The desk is made of what I believe is mahogany, and has ornately carved accecents on the vitrine shelf supports which are done in reverse scrolls.

Vintage Mid-Century BOOMERANG Lightolier Stilnovo Thurston Desk Lamp & Diffuser!
This is one groovy lamp! I actually can't find a maker's mark on it- but it definitely has the look of everything I put in this posting's title. I'm sure the lighting experts will know what it is for sure. This lamp has character. Talk about an oversized atomic shade and the boomerang base to set it off! They are definitely the features that make this lamp. The lamp works great- there are absolutely no problems with its function. I believe the shade is made of aluminum- although it has a bright brass color to it. So it’s probably brass-spun aluminum. Note it has multiple hole perforations all around the shade which are for dispersing light gently through the interior. The big shade design is for illumination and heat dispersion as well. It puts out a beautiful spectrum of light! I believe the boomerang base is made of black ... morecast iron? It has a great weight to it and does a good job of balancing the oversized shade so it doesn't tip over. Note this is not the case with may similar lamps from this era) The bonus feature of this auction is the metal light bulb diffuser which came with the lamp! These diffusers are quite rare and sell for quite a bit(by themselves) on eBay. The diffuser is easily removable from the bulb and is a great feature. The bulb is just a standard bulb and will not be included) I did take a picture both with and without the light diffuser attached(with the lamp turned both on and off) It's pretty obvious which is which- the first lighted picture is without the diffuser. As you can see from my detailed pictures- this lamp is in excellent vintage condition. I did take the maximum# of 12 pictures allowed to best describe its condition(as well as its features) Please be sure to also make note of the one imperfection I mentioned above in the"Condition Description" section. Vintage porcelain desk clock. You can wind the clock. Gears and parts move, but doesn't currently work. Missing one or two of the turn keys. The left ear has been cracked and re-glued(refer to photos) May be used for spare parts. Despite a few flaws the clock is still adorable and would be a great accent for a living area. Chromcraft moved from St Louis in 1962 so the chair is definitely before that time- my guess is 1940's or 1950's. It is very heavy duty- is comfortable and rolls perfect on its casters. First off. I tried to get better pictures than these. This desk is very heavy. This is a Jasper Office Furniture Jackson Desk product. Built like a Stone Wall" A spectacular looking table that will last a very long time. In overall superb shape. The top is showing wear and there is one piece of the top out. No keys. And for some reason the 2 slide out are gone. We have no idea what happened to them. So. Having pointed out the negative you can plainly see how this desk looks. The desk has a large work surface at 78 inches across. 42 inches deep and 29 inches high. The middle part of the desk has a rattan mesh panel. Has to be for local pickup only.

For your consideration I have this Beautiful Gubelin Travel/Desk Alarm Clock. The case that houses this little jewel has some minor scuffs on it. But nothing too bad. It has an eight day Swiss movement with 15 Jewels, and works perfectly! The face and clear plastic that covers it are in excellent condition, and it has luminous hands and luminous dots at every"number marker" on the face. The"Swiss" marking is present on the face just under the"six" marker. A vintage Tensor LT 590 desk lamp that has a 4" section of flexible gooseneck on it for rotation of the lamp head. It has the old style heavy plug on it. It has a couple of paint flecks missing as pictured in#4. It takes a 20 watt bulb that is not included but the lamp is tested with a bulb taken out of my personal lamp. Measures 14 1/2" Tall. 18" Wide and about 4" deep. Please check the pictures so you can judge the condition. This is an old lamp and the brass is not perfect but not bad either. The weld in the middle is not intact but the lamp functions just fine without it and you really can't tell unless you look really close.
