Made of plywood and wicker, with a bamboo handle, and brass hardware. It is in very good preowned condition. With just a few small spots, and some places where filler had been applied during the manufacturing process. The Desk is in AS FOUND condition. Ready to use or finish as you like. It measures 14 inches long. By 11 5/8 inches wide and is 3 5/8 inches tall at the top, slanting down to 2 5/8 inches tall at the bottom. One thing to note. Is that the Desk is a bit primitive, and opens about 8 inches, but does not fully fold back on the top. Ships USPS Priority Mail which. VINTAGE TRAMP-ART TYPE DOLL DESK AND CHAIR with swivel seat and real drawers!
This adorable little desk has been in my collection since 1982. It was made by the father of a lady who used to babysit my son.she was in her 60's back when I acquired it from her in 1982. It is 6 3/4" tall. 6 5/8" wide and 3 5/16" deep. The chair is 5" tall and it swivels. The desk and chair appear to be made from 1/4" plywood with a varnish finish. The drawers all open and close freely. The drawer fronts and interiors appear to be solid wood, like pine for the drawers and mahogany( for the drawer fronts. I have not done anything to the finish, barely dusting it as you can see! I can't believe I'm willing to part with this one-of-a-kind piece, made in Montana, probably in the 1920's. If I keep typing I may convince myself to keep it, though it has been in storage for about 20 years, in a smoke-free ... morehome. Vintage Black Desk Top Decorative Globe. Measures Approx. 14 1/2" tall on the stand.the globe is approx: 7" or 8" in diameter. I can't seem to find a name or makers mark. The globe is black with silver design features. Globe appears to be a basic globe& more of a decorative item. I do see a few surface scuff marks on South America( see photo) otherwise surface is clean& smooth. I love the look& design of this globe.it has a great shape to the metal stand. I am unsure if this metal has some type of chrome or top surface finish but I do see some corrosion to the metal on just 1 side of the arm. The globe is a little loose& wobbly on the stand.I'm sorry but I tried to gently peel away to cushion base cover so I could tighten the screw but it is glued on securely& I tore it a little( see photos) and ... moredecided to just leave it loose& the new buyer can take it off& tighten it up. Vintage Oak Captain's Swivel Desk Chair
Up for sale is a great old oak captain's swivel desk chair. I reclines slightly. Swivels well, and has a nice wide seat. There is one caster that does fall out when lifted, but all the casters roll well. It stands 27" tall, the seat stands 14.5" from the floor and is 18" wide X 18" deep. Vintage 1960's Atlas 763 microphone desk stand old used Shure midcentury # 30
Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. A very nice older Atlas desk stand from the 1960's era and perfect for just about any older vintage microphone. The original Atlas sticker is very good with just the slightest wear and as you can see by the design. Paint and stamp on the bottom of the base that it's clearly a 1960's generation 763 retractable desk stand. There is no wear or discoloration on the original paint. Zero rust stains on the bottom. All 3 original rubber pads are present and in"like new" condition. Total length is 12 inches high x 6 inches wide but can be lowered to 8 inches if needed? The chrome stem(upper and lower) is completely free of rust. And pitting but does show typical wear in the form of lite scratches. The stand will accept just about any microphone with the exception of a few astatic mics ... moredue to their unusual 3 pin attachment. All E.V, Shure and Turner mics will screw on however. This stand has the universal 5/8 thread. This is perfect for the old"fatboy" 55 or 55 S because of it's wide. Stable base. This stand is an easy 9 + on a scale of 10. And has been around since 1912, in Grand Rapids Michigan. These were taken apart. And repainted by the previous owner, and found with the upholstery pads removed for recovering. The previous owner never got to recovering the pads. So I assume this is original vinyl. They are filled with coil springs and cotton batting. LA Historic 1940'S Oak Desk Antique Wood Large Heavy Vintage CA Pick Up
Our Dad is sadly downsizing to a retirement home and must give up this amazing. Historic, behemoth of a desk! Sit down at this amazing piece of LA past, and know you're a BOSS. I rescued it from the mezzanine office of an old warehouse in Silver Lake before it was torn down due to gentrification. I managed to save several and this was the best example, so it came to live with my family- now perhaps yours for it's next chapter. Feet are still wearing the original brass caps, and the center drawer still features the original key! I found this taped inside many years ago, shockingly, but this desk has been used with love. The body of the desk consists of quartersawn oak in a rich medium dark finish, lots of gorgeous reddish browns and many thick, mackerel highlights as well as smaller scaled striping. The top was extremely damaged linoleum ... morewhen found, and we stripped and sanded the top underneath. You could certainly add new old stock linoleum if preferred, but it looks lovely as is. This beautiful relic of a time gone by is actually finished all the way around so you can float it in the middle of the room if wanted. Of note are two stickers denoting it's storied past- this desk once served as a desk at LAPD headquarters and also in the Community Development Department at the City of Los Angeles. The only apology is the pull out writing boards are missing. The desk is a fairly standard size and could be cannibalized from the others that haven't survived in such good shape. Or easily cut out and stained or painted to suit. Dad reports he never missed them on account of the size of the desk, he always had plenty of room to write and do his dictation from, he was a small town pediatrician for most of his life. There are five deep and spacious drawers, one is a false fronted double, in addition to the central pen drawer, with the original insert to separate small things- paperclips, erasers, truth serum vials etc. Please come give this desk a new life! The base the cover and the wire attachment that holds the cover. There is a slot(see picture) in the base. At the top that holds the cover up. This piece needs a good cleaning, but can be left as is, to show off the naturally aged beauty of the piece. For your consideration is an antique adjustable brass desk lamp. The antique lamp has a a heavy weighted base. 6 1/2" in diameter. The lamp stands 23 3/4" tall at the lowest setting and adjust to 33 1/4" at the highest. The spun brass shade is 5 1/2" in diameter and has flat black painted finish. The"PAISTE" socket accepts a standard base bulb(bulb not included) The wiring is new cloth covered 18 gauge wire with an old fashioned two prong plug. The lamp has had the lacquer finish removed and will get a nice warm patina over time. The lamp has some small dings and imperfections but nothing that isn't typical for its age or use. You are looking at a fancy ornate vintage Seth Thomas heart shaped footed desk alarm clock. This clock works when wound but the alarm does not. The hands need to be aligned and the small lense latch(above the 12) has a tiny piece broke off it. There is some minor plate wear on the heart and scratches on the lense. You are bidding on a Big Heavy Vintage Cast Iron Desk Cannon The cannon was painted green at one time now mostly black. The cannon is in great shape. No breaks missing pieces cracks or repairs. The cannon is about 6 ½ inches wide 16 3/8 inches long 8 5/8 inches tall as it sits. The cannon is heavy duty and heavy. It seems real old. Black frame and tires once were green. The wheels stay on with an old style washer and man made cotter pins going through a single axle The axle is held on the cannon by two old style square nuts looking welded or attached on the base The base frame seems to be one whole piece of iron. The barrel is a separate piece connected with a pin on each side. Unmarked. I can’t see any markings maybe painted over some somewhere but I don’t see them. Very nicely made cannon. The 1972 Fisher Price School Desk#176 includes all 26 letters. And 16 cards. The letters are in great shape. The cards have wear, included creases, worn corners and signs of ink used to outline the letters. The desk itself is in good condition. All the stickers and plastic are in great shape. The chalkboard paint is wearing through on the right side. I tried to show in the pictures. Even has a couple pieces of chalk and an eraser!
