We would use furniture polish but it probably ... moreneeds a proper cleaning to wake up the wood. There are a few specks of paint on the right side. Again with a proper cleaning this can address this. The Only major defect is small burn mark on desk portion. I took many photos so what you see it what the desk has. There are 2 drawers on the shelf that were added and not part of the desk. That is why they don't match. It has been displayed in each of our homes for over 50 years. It was always stored on the main floor. Never in the basement or garage. It was cleaned and polished on a fairly regular basis. It has not dried out. We have been using it over the last few years as a computer desk. The second photo was taken by me of is of the original owner in 1959. We are located in Freehold NJ 07728. Due to size and weight-pick up only. Shipping will be the buyer's responsibility. The dimensions are approximately 50x34x50. I don't know the weight. I assume it is several hundred pounds. Westclox roll top travel alarm clock. Light beige model#451. This clock comes from an estate. I have extensively tested it and it works fine. It keeps accurate time and the alarm sounds when scheduled. As seen in the photos, there is some dust in the ridges on the rolling lid, there are some chips in the paint on the clock face, and the brass is tarnished and needs a good cleaning, but overall this alarm clock has aged well and looks good for being 50+ years old. The back of the clock has the winding key, the clock set button, the alarm set button, and the alarm pull-out button to sound the alarm. It also has a place to adjust the speed that the clock operates to ensure it keeps accurate time. Here is a great vintage square Stamp Holder for 100 stamp rolls. It's made of Solid American Walnut and has a wonderfully delicate lasercraft engraving of trees on the top. It's 2" wide by 2" deep and 1 3/4" tall. On the bottom is a silver stopper and inside is a small brochure about how they do the carving. I think this is from the mid 1970s as it was a gift I gave my grandfather when I was a kid. It's in excellent condition with no chips. Scratches or marks and doesn't even look as if it was ever used as I found the original brochure still stuck inside. I prefer to use Priority Mail with tracking. Petite roll top desk. A very cute and rare piece. It has been refinished. At one time it was painted white. The chair, I'm not sure if it's original to the desk. I doubt if it is. However, it is size proportioned to the desk. There is age to the pieces, but no way for me to know how old. The roll top requires a little help to open and shut, but it is cloth backed and works. The chair is a swivel chair with hight adjustment. The drawers open and shut, but sometimes stick. I think a guide is out of line or missing. It is a very unique set. I haven't ever seen one like it. Believe this to be a 19th century child's roll top desk. Very beautiful detailing and design. All wood. Three compartments inside roll top, along with tongue& grove wood framed slate chalk board(slides/removable) and wood drawer. It is in wonderful condition for its age. Please see pictures. Desk measures approximately 24" x 13" x 36" It does appear that a child did write on bottom right corner of slate with black marker. It looks like the back may have been replaced at one time. Inside we see seven cubby holes. Including two full shelf cubbies and three angle shelves. It has paper goods from the Pennsylvania Railroad, the Delaware and Hudson Railroad, the B& O(Grease Pencils from them) and the Erie Lackawanna Railway. As well as other incidentals. Antique Walnut Roll Top Desk - $499 (pick up only in Plymouth, Michigan)
This desk was built by Standard Furniture Company. Herkimer NY. The dimensions are: 50" wide, 32" deep, 43.5" tall. As far as I can tell, everything is original and the desk is in very good condition. The lock on the roll top bears the name Standard and still has the original key. The center drawer has a label inside it indicating that the desk is walnut and was built by Standard Furniture Co. The center drawer also has the remnants of the Standard Furniture Company's official seal, with an eagle in the center. Some of the walnut veneer has come off, especially on the lower legs and on the front left side of the roll top frame. I will not ship the desk. You must pick it up in Plymouth. Michigan 48170.

Antique Roll Top Watch Makers Bench Late 19th Century(does not include antique scales) The bench was used in my family store until we closed in 1982. We are moving to a smaller house and do not have room to move it. The bench has been carefully restored and refinished.The roll top is fully functional. The two sides fold down for extra room when working on clocks. There are holes to attach a lathe are there. But one does not come with the bench. The bench in 43 inches wide. 25 inches deep and 38 inches tall to the top of the desk. The fold down sides are an additional 10 inches tall. Both sides lay flat. The bench is too close to the wall in the photo and the desk is too solid and heavy for me to move without scratching the wood floors. The desk has 9 vertical stacking drawers on the right hand side for all of your tools. The center catch ... moretray has new felt.
