Condition: Used Location: Mansfield, United States Antique Oak High Back Swivel Banker’s Lawyer’s Executive Desk Chair Wakefield For sale is an antique oak high back swivel banker’s lawyer’s executive ... moredesk chair. It is pretty unique with the solid top backrest with scroll top corners. The base mechanism is marked H. B. W. Co. Heywood Brothers& Wakefield Company. That dates it from 1897 to 1921. Swivels and is on casters. This chair is in excellent condition with some minor chips along the left edge of the backrest and a small dark spot on the seat. There are a couple of places where the bolts/ screws need tightening. There are no splits or repairs to the wood. The base was removed at some point. Possibly at the time the chair may have been refinished. I’m not sure. When the base was reattached, new holes were used right in front of the original ones and unoriginal screws were used. There are also about 4 small holes in the seat bottom, 2 on each side. I don’t know what this was for. The seat is about 17 inches from the ground. The backrest is about 40 inches high. This chair was removed from a storage unit filled with the inventory from a New Hampshire antique shop. This is the last piece of oak furniture from the storage. The pieces were all in beautiful condition and excellent quality. Located in Irvine. CA. Pick up is free. Due to size, this chair will have special freight requirements. I can unscrew the base to make it smaller, but it will still be large.

The left pedestal has another pull up tambour door to reveal cabinet space. It is a large 55.25" by 32.25" executive size desk w. Overall height is47.75" high with the writing desk top at a standard 30" height from the floor. It has a blind front oak panel where the center drawer once sat but for some reason the previous owner chose to do away with the drawer and make a blind front oak board. The original drawer guides are still intact and you could easily add a drawer box to the panel to have a top center drawer again. Very nice tiger oak grain throughout with a natural oak finish on the wood. It un-assembles into 3 parts for transport, Two side columns and desktop with tmabour and, desk top and cubby space. This is a antique Eastlake style Victorian Oak roll top secretary cylinder desk that dates from the late 1800s. Made from solid oak(NO VENEER) and in very good condition with some light scratches and rubs from age and use. Measures 42 1/4" tall. 34 1/8" wide and 21 1/2" deep. A nice space saver desk. All drawers slide in and out good and the slide out writing desk top slides in and out very good as well.Appears to have been refinished at one point in time and the handles are not original to the desk. This incredible desk by Standard Furniture Company of Herkimer. New York is in good condition and measures 59.5"W x 35.5"D x 30.25"H. This desk has went from schoolmaster's to a local steel mill's office to somebody's garage as a common work bench( Don't worry. Though, it has survived and fortunately it wasn't beaten up too bad. There are replace handles on the main drawer which locks each of the drawers when closed. These drawers must be in their specific cubby hole to work which are all signs of superior quality(you know the whole locking thing with specifically numbered drawers) I'm pretty sure I have the key for this desk somewhere. There are some scrapes to sides& gouges to the body but nothing too bad. I tried to give some detail in the pictures which I'm going to expand. This desk has ... morebeen tucked safely away in Handbanino's vaults for awhile and rather than waiting and prolonging its vacation I cleaned it off and gave as informative of a snapshot of where it's at right now. My deadline was 8 PM today and no matter what it was going on. No more scrubbing this a little more or evening out the finish out some more over there all though I will probably touch it up some more before it arrives in your home. It's not easy to get outdoor lighting. A good photogenic appearance, a decent natural backdrop to line up so I hope everything looks clear enough. The sun gave it a little bit of an alien glow but I tried to grab the most normal pictures, the top being detailed from left to right in the last three. As you can see there are some zones of"extra patina" over the wood grain but those have gone done from what it originally showed up with.
