1930's, Compact Antique Mantle / Bedside Clock. Solid Huon Pine Body.
This auction is for a compact antique mantle clock made from solid Huon Pine I think. The clock measures 25 cm across and 11.5 cm in height and is an attractive little piece. I mechanism isn't working. The spring needs repair. There are a couple of small chips in the wood near the edge of the face and the body would benefit from a touch of wood polish, but it would be easy to turn this into a beautiful working piece with a little tlc. The mechanism and face are marked'Made In Japan' from the early 1900's I think. This clock is much smaller than similar clockld be repaired or have another mechanism inserted. E Ingraham 3 Column Mantel Clock
My clock is in good condition. Key is missing however but can be purchased at an antique clock shop. The master behind Ingraham Clocks was Elias Ingraham(1805-1885) Elias. Who lived to the advanced age of 80, was born in Marlborough, Connecticut. The E. and A. Ingrahams Company was then started and ran from 1852 to 1856; and then Elias Ingraham and Company from 1857 to 1860. Then from 1861 to 1880 the name E. Ingraham& Company was used. From 1881 to 1884, the company was know as The E. Ingraham& Company. Finally in 1885 it was incorporated as The E. Ingraham Company. This well-documented history and short time periods for each company make it easy to date the early Ingraham clocks based upon the label. Vintage Antique HORSE with BABY Colt Foal Pony SPARTUS CLOCK Bronze Brass
As far as I know. This is an original piece. I have seen many of this type clock for sale on eBay, but none with a baby horse. The clock has a bit of pitting around the perimiter of the face, and it needs a cord, as you can see. I do not know whether or not it works if a cord is attached. I am not the original owner and have not tested it. The wood base is 17" x 5" x 1" and you may wish to refinish it. The adult horse is appr. 10" long and about 8" tall to the tip of the ears, standing on the base. Pretty sure the metal is bronze, but could be brass. I believe this to be a rare item because of the colt. Please look close and be sure to ask whatever questions you may have.

Antique French Boulle Mantel Clock Bronze Face Roussel A Paris
Antique French boulle mantel clock. The beautiful gilded bronze face with a lots of ornaments and enamel numbers for the hours will capture attention right away. As you can see the top of the clock is missing. Still looks great on display. The measurement between bolts supporting the missing top is 17 cm length. 7 cm width. All gilded bronze ornaments around the edges are present. There is a minimal lost of the boulle decoration. The clock had two names one associated with the maker of the body Roussel A Paris. The other is the mechanism maker Pierre Margolin Paris. The very unique key is included. The mechanism seems to be working. Needs to be clean and regulated. The accuracy can be checked with a pendulum, unfortunately missing. The wall of the inside part of the back door has boulle finish. The opening system of the front glass door need ... moresome adjustment. Few enamel hour enamel pieces have some crazing. Size 21" tall. 5" depth, 15" width. Here is a nice Schweppes wall clock. It would go perfect in someone's bar or rec room. The body is solid wood and is in excellent condition. With only a very few small, minor scratches. It measures 19" tall and 14" across. The face is 11 inches diameter. The front displays"SCHWEPPES MIXERS Famous since 1794" in the center of the face and"United Clock Corp. Brooklyn, N. Y. U.S. A" at the bottom of the face. On the back is a tag that says"SESSIONS UNITED A DIVISION OF UNITED METAL GOODS MFG. CO. INC. Brooklyn, N. Y. U.S. A Model# 597" Also stamped on the back is 7-76. Which I believe represents the manufacturing date of July, 1976. The clock keeps good time, and the pendulum swings as designed when the clock is plugged in. Antique Delft Clock Unknown as to the Clockworks Maker
This is a beautiful old clock. My Great Aunt brought it back from Europe in either 1924 or 1931. I not sure which, but it has been in my family and on a shelf in the kitchen since 1932. There is no maker marks on the works, and it will wind, but does not run, so it correct only twice a day. The only marks on the case are the numbers 382 impressed on the lower back of the porcelean clock case. There are a couple of small flea bites on the right front edge as pictured, but otherwise in excellent condition. The shipping charge includes insurance. Tracking, postage and a lot of packing.

Vintage gilded French carriage clock. In excellent working condition with brass key. The very beautiful clock has a substantial gilded case. It is heavily casted and gilded with finely casted caryatids on four columns. Floral motif on the handle. On top, on the surrounding area of the face, on the sides, the back and the bottom. There is a lot of detail on this clock and exquisitely made. Please check the photos carefully and you can appreciate this is a wonderful work of art. Bevel glass on top so you can see the movement. I am not a clock person.so please forgive my short description. I know this one is nice and not a fussy as many clocks of this age. I have had this clock cleaned and it currently works. I love this clock and have used it for several years but I don't have room for it in my new place. It has 1664 on the back of the clock and clock base. It has 1667 on back of both the side pieces. The wooden base on one of the side pieces has a small piece of wood missing on one side(you can not see it missing if you are looking at it from the front. Antique Maitland Smith Large Footed Bronze & Marble Queen Monkey Mantel Clock
A beautiful rare find by Maitland-Smith handmade in Philippines. It is a very large and heavy metal/bronze and marble footed clock. It has a large oval 2tone marble base with metal feet like legs or stand and leaf design metal trim. The clock features a pair of humanly dressed monkeys with tails sticking out carrying draped round carriage with a crowned dressed monkey seated at the top holding a flag with double poles? That entire pieces is craved from metal and not a detail was missed. The clock face is removable and it uses a 1.5( short) battery and it works. This clock reminds me of the Planet of the apes and it seem to tell a story. The clock measures about 17" H x 18" W x 8.5" D and it's gorgeous and would make a great conversation piece. A small crack in the rear under the base and about 25lbs or more.

Antique/Vintage prob bef 1922 Long HAC Wooden Wall Clock Running & Striking
Antique/Vintage Long Wooden Cased HAC Wall Clock Running Striking on 4 chime bars. Now this clock is an absolutely special wall clock with the case having many interesting special features and the movement chiming system unique. In lovely rich dark reddish wood the case is of strong and imposing design with a large 18cm circular glass framing the dial and the lower glasses being beveled sections framed by brass leadlighting in the form of an oval(21cm long) highlighting the large pendulum inside. Decorated with a wooden carved scroll embellishment on the top and having small circular side windows allowing one to view the chime rods as they resonate into the room. The movement can be slid out away from the case by releasing two finger knobs and the chiming can be switched off by a special lever which slides a brake in place. The chimes too ... morehave a clever double fork brake which can be swung into position when the clock is in transit. The case is in great condition for its age which is probably antique and has the HAC brass plaque inside. This one seems to look as full of character as it always was with the fine wood grain warming your parlor. Of course it should have knocks and bumps commensurate with its age which add character but I couldn't find many and it still looks really great. Apart from some discoloration on the dial this clock is in great condition. The movement is a HAC so of very dependable German origin. The other amazingly unique part about this HAC is the fact that the chiming system produces the Westminster Big Ben Chime with only a 2 train movement. Usually 3 are necessary and you have to wind up three arbors. But this chimes the hour on the hour with a musical chord and plays the Big Ben song on the other 3 quarter hours. This clock is not only classy it is running quite well. It has a lovely artistic brass circular metal pendulum and is supplied with key shown. Very suitable for a large home. I'm not a"clock person" but here's what I can see. This is a porcelain mantle clock with metal/brass and enamel works. It's about 12" tall, 9" wide, and 4" deep. This is an attic find.it was all piled into a box.so it was really filthy and could use a more detailed cleaning. The painting seems to be very nice, but I don't see an artist's name or maker's mark anywhere. ... moreThe front right foot has a surface crack that's about 2" long. The worst problem is at the back right foot. It has an old glued repair and is missing about 2" of porcelain that would have connected it to the front. Fortunately, the leg seems to be solid/stable. The rest of the porcelain seems to be in very good shape. I don't know if the works are complete or even working. I don't see any obvious damage. The centerpiece looks like enamel and brass and is about 3&3/4" in diameter. Once again, no markings. The enamel has scattered dirt/wear, but displays well.
