Superb Art Deco Figural Lamp Ladies Playing Piano & Banjo Red Dome Shade
This auction is for a Beautiful Art Deco Figural Lamp in the form of two ladies. One playing a piano the other one sitting on the piano playing a banjo. The lamp has a Ruby Red Deco molded Dome Shade that casts a great hue. I believe the piece dates to the 1920s or 1930s and is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no dents or breaks in the metal. The shade is in very good condition as well without any cracks or chips. I have tested the lamp and it works well. It is made of cast metal and has a nice patina. I t has wear areas comme ns u rate with its age. The piece is marked with a number 26 on one side of the back and"Pat. App. on the other. International bidders please ask postage costs BEFORE placing a bid unless costs are stated in the listing as prices can be expensive. Here we have a n attractive original figural Victorian oil lamp. The f igural part of the lamp appear s to be a cold painted bronze/brass type metal. The bird I believe is a Heron surrounded by flowing branches and foliage. Th ese shade is a crystal etched light cranberry pink. The fitting rim and top rim of the frill are smooth glass free from etching. The glass fount is so unusual. It appears like end- of- day glass with spatters of red and yellow over a clear-ish glass then a nice feature to notice is flecks of what appears to be real gold(possibly ... moregold leaf? Definitely look to be pieces of gold coloured metal) I tried to show these in the image s. Rather than sitting in the shade ring the shade is a little smaller in diameter than the gallery fingers(I believe it wa s originally for a gas lamp) However. It sits perfectly central around the inner raised rim of the shade gallery so looks fine and suits the lamp well. It is all how it arrived so Left it that way. Dimensions; 23" tall to top of chimney. Shade is 6" across frill. 5" tall and has a fitting rim just under 2 1/2" Condition; shade is in excellent undamaged condition. Usual fleabites to rough-cut fitting rim, fount is free from damage, as it is hand-blown it is slightly irregular, metal base has what appears to be some(crude) restoration over the years but this is so small it doesn't really stand out until examined at close range, a leaf appears to be missing as there is solder where it may have once been re-applied, the feet of the stork appear to have been broken at some time and soldered back then painted over(looks a lot uglier in the images) unless you are looking you don't see(plus a lot of the leaves and things obscure them)

Up for sale is this victorian/art nouveau brass& spelter metal woman figural oil lamp with a detailed glass hurricane shade and chimney. The base is very ornate and made of metal possibly speltzer with some worn white paint. It is marked on the bottom but too worn to read. The glass hurricane shade and chimney are in good condition(some crazing chips at bottom) At some point in this lamp's history it was converted to electric- tested and in good working order. Located in New Jersey. Not sure of the age on this probably the 1950's. Lamp is mounted on an ornate 3 footed base which is in a scroll design. This is being sold as" In Found Condition" it looks like the lamp originally had a spacer between the lamp itself and the ornate base, mostly likely a round piece of marble, which is missing, you can see in the photos of the bottom that there is a gap between the base and the lamp which indicates that there was a larger piece attached to the base of the lamp and in turn to the ornate base. Lamp has a gold painted finish. Some darkening or wear to the paint on the top of the heads of 2 of the figures, no breaks or cracks. Lamp does work, and it looks like it has been re-wired not too long ago, but as with any old electric item this should be checked out by an electrician before using. Stunning Dresden Porcelain Figural Group as Electric Lamp This is a beautifully painted Dresden porcelain figural group(lamp) of a seated woman with a lapful of fruit and a little boy at her side who clearly wants his just desserts. She has a long flowing dress richly decorated with an all-over floral pattern in all the colors of the rainbow and a lavender top. She is wearing a beautiful plumed bonnet on her head. Note damage to back of bonnet and the loss of the lady's right foot. The boy is wearing a pair of black trousers and a green jacket with peach trim. Note damage to lower right of jacket. There is a basket of fruit tucked behind the little boy. Both mother and son are exquisitely painted with incredibly life-like features. Simply gorgeous! The base measures 8" in diameter and the height to the top of the bonnet is 9" ... moreThere is a a column(into which the lamp is set) which measures about 9 1/2" high and overall height to the top of the harp is 19" I will attempt to remove the harp for shipping but it's tight. The base has a lovely repeating gilded pattern with gilding to the column as well. There is a Crown N mark in blue underglaze at the base of the column in the back as seen in the last photograph. I am not certain but I believe this to be the mark of the Ernst Boehne factory. The bottom of the piece seems to be signed in pencil I Wahl and the numbers 4656 but hard to be certain. This may be the name of the modeler or a previous owner. I have tested the lamp and it works! The lamp socket appears to be one GE introduced in 1907 so I'm guessing that this group dates to then or earlier. From my collection is this Roman lady sculptress figural lamp done in green with a gold wash. Selling as shown in first 4 pictures. Needs rewiring and electrical components to use as a lamp. Shown a vintage table lamp or t.v. lamp. The figural porcelain lamp shows a jester with a young girl. The lamp base without the shade up to the socket measures 9 1/2" It is 4 1/2" at its widest point and 13" tall with the shade. Antique 11" Figural Base , Glass Font Oil/Kerosene Lamp
11 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 X 4 inch X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is of a Hunter. The figure is 4 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The font is 2 inches tall and 5 inches across. On top of that is a brass colored cover that the burner screws into. The font has decoration on it. The condition is good. This is a very nice lamp with fine details.But is showing wear and discoloration. This lamp is smaller than the others and was probably intended to carry like a finger lamp.
