Description. This is set of uncoated lens elements. To be fitted in an attachment which mounts on a camera lens by means of a spring clip. These sets were sold around 1925. The attachment can be clipped on camera lenses from 15mm up to approx. 38mm diameter. Lenses are 39.5mm diameter. The set consists of: a portrait lens for all contemporary cameras. Closest distance up to 50 cm. a close-up lens for contemporary cameras. Closest distance up to 30 cm- a wide angle lens for plate cameras- a tele lens for plate cameras with double extension bellows. This‘Monkey Band’ figurine is one of a set of four that I am listing in four separate listings this week. They represent models 693. 694, 695 and 696 in this set. This one bears the underglaze incised number‘693’ on the base. I am listing each one separately in order to give collectors the opportunity to fill in any‘gaps’ in their collection of these figures. But, in each case, I have provided one photo showing all four of these lively musicians so that they can be seen together. The four comprise a flautist, a violinist, a trumpeter and a conductor, all made of heavy hard paste porcelain. The original‘Monkey Bands’ were reputedly first produced by the great Meissen factory about 1753-5 and were the result of a commission given to Meissen’s greatest figure modeller. Johann Kaendler who created a 22 piece‘orchestra’ of these wonderful figures, ... moreeach distinguished with marvellous individuality and wittiness in concept. They were immensely popular and much copied by other porcelain factories right through the 19th Century. I have been informed by a kind fellow eBayer(4/2/13) that these figures are from a Kronach factory in Upper Franconia. Germany, belonging to R& E Pech. I have confirmed that the mark appears on page 273 of Ludwig Danckert's invaluable'Directory of European Porcelain' The date is correct. This one is the‘Conductor’ He is extremely well modelled and painted in fine detail. He is conducting with visible enthusiasm! He carries an underglaze‘blue scissors’ mark. I am much indebted. As always, to Mr Geoffery Godden’s superb“Guide to European Porcelain”1993. On page 98 of that book he illustrates the‘scissors’ mark and reveals that it“occurs on late nineteenth century Dresden-type porcelains such as the Monkey Band’which are almost certainly of German origin” The conductor is beautifully painted in rich enamels. Up for auction is a Juwel 34 German Army cookstove. I cannot find a date on this stove but I believe it to be WW2 vintage. It appears to have been made in Dresden. By Gustav Barthel.No eagles or Swastikas that I could find. I have seen a lot of GI cookstoves in my time but never saw one of these. It is in excellent condition and apparently has seen little use. Beautiful Silver Mounted Edjard Reichert Violin Bow made in Dresden. Germany. This bow was recently re-haired in our shop using natural white Mongolian horse hair. This is a straight bow with fantastic camber. Weighing 60 grams this is a full size bow measuring 29" or 73 1/2 cm. Beautiful round Pernambuco stick with a leather and Nickel wound finger grip. Ebony frog. Abalone slide, eye, and button with bone tip. This bow plays wonderfully and would make a fine bow for a professional violinist.

This is a gorgeous pair of large handpainted porcelain figural KPM sleighs! A boy and girl dressed in Royal clothing and both sleighs covered in apprlied porcelain flowers. Beautiful! They are heavy weighted porcelain and each measure approximately 8 inches high by 10 inches wide. Both have some chipping to the applied flowers and leaves and on the boy's sleigh. Cutter Quilt Piece- Lg - Dresden Plate Very Nice
Hello. This is a piece cut from an antique quilt in the Dresden Plate pattern. This piece measures appx. 26" X 27" and has 1 full plate in very,very nice condition and has a cone edge on 2 sides. The one edge has some light- med. wear, and the other is in nice condition. The only flaw in this piece is a small dark mark, which I have shown in the pictures. This piece is clean and ready to craft with and was hand quilted with a cotton batting. This would make a wonderful pillow top or small wall hanging or cut up for smaller projects. Up for Auction is a beautiful. Estate sale find, antique quilt. Measures approximately 84 x 98(Queen/King) with cotton batting. Blue binding around perimeter. Impeccably hand stitched paisley/floral feed sack patterns in a Dresden plate fan fashion. Heavy quilting adds a cozy weight to the quilt. It’s in excellent condition considering its age. No stains in front or back with the exception of a fade color crease from being folded and stored. Otherwise it’s tightly stitched and very clean and bright. From a smoke free home. Well Made Eduard Reichert Violin Dresden Germany fecit anno 1913 A Players Instr
Up for auction is a very well made. And hand made, full size violin by Eduard Reichet of Dresden Germany. Made in 1913. The label is fully intact inside the violin. From what I understand Reichert made about 200 violins in his lifetime, as he was a luthier, and his repair lables are found occassionally on other makers violins. Nice selection of woods, with a very nice Spruce top with medium graining, and nicely flammed Maple back and ribs. The purfling is accurate and nicely inlayed and solid. The varnish over all is in very good condition, as there are a minor amount of the usual light nicks, very little, all in all, it is in very nice condition. A couple of past repairs, but done well and quite sound to the top. No sound post crack or repairs at that area. The violin has a very nice, strong sound, the lower range is a little deeper and ... moredarker than the upper range, but the strings still need to be broken in, and the violin needs to be played. The volumne is of soloist quality. This violin has been well kept in a luther shop untill recently. The body length is 14-3/16' the upper bout is 6-9/16' and the lower is 8-1/8' with the mid at 4-1/2" The violin has been checked out throughly, and all is sound. The violin has recently been set up with new Domanent Strings and has a very strong sound. Please feel free to ask any questions. From Germany is this small and beautiful handpainted antique porcelain Dresden Dancing Ballerina Figure with Ceramic Lace Tutu. This charming little girl with her arms extended is posed in the middle of a twirl. Her bodice is yellow. She wears gold slippers, and her white lace tutu is accented with little porcelain flowers that match the flower on her bodice and the other in her hair. Vintage German Dresden Unterweissbach Porcelain Figurine, beautiful detail LQQK!
This is a Vintage German Dresden Porcelain Figurine marked Heinz Schaubach from the Unterweissbach Porcelain Factory. A crown over a large"U" surrounded by the letters"S" H" This is a wonderful example of the high quality detail and painting that Heinz Schaubach is known for. It features 2 women seated outdoors on a stone wall. One woman is looking at a bird on her finger while the other gazes gently to her left. The dresses of the 2 women are elaborately painted with flowers and the woman on the left is adorned with lovely roses. Both women have flowers in their hair and the woman on the left is sporting a brimmed hat. A second yellow bird is looking down from an old gnarled tree. The poses of the two women make a beautiful composition. I try to show close up photos so you can see the detail in the painting, the ... morefaces, fingers and toe nails. The number on the bottom of the piece is difficult to read, but it appears to be 8289 A. This piece is in excellent condition. The bisque and glaze have no cracks or crazing. There are 3 small chips. One is that the bird in the tree is missing a little piece of its tail(see photo 4) The second is the tip of the green leaf of the peach rose on the far left(see photo 11) Third, the flower in the hair of the woman on the right is missing the tip of the green leaf(see photo 12) All fingers and toes are perfect and this piece has never had any repairs done to it. It measures 7 1/2 inches tall by 9 inches wide by about 6 inches deep. This piece probably dates to the 1940's to early 50's. It was purchased by my wife's grandfather. Who was a collector, back in the 1950's and has been in the family for 3 generations. Heinz Schaubach was a very talented German artist who took over the Unterweissbach Porcelain Factory in 1940. Antique Cavalier Figurine Meissen, Dresden, Capo, French Maker
Up for auction is this increadibly well made antique figurine of a Cavalier. I believe it is hard paste porcelain. And the decoration is all done by hand. The decoration is extremely well done, uniform, and in a variety of colors, and gold decorated as well. We've shown this to several people with a background in old figurines, but with no markings, no one wanted to commit to any one maker, mainly because of the faux marble pedestal. All said the quailty is as good as Meissen, Capodimonte, or some of your best French makers. The figurine stands 10.75" tall. It does have some damages, as can be be seen in the photos. They are seated on a log and he has hat in hand and he is gazing up at her.She is wearing a beautiful dresden lace dress with applied porcelain flower accents. and she is holding her bonnet. At her feet there is a little dog. Approximately 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Stamped on the back of the with blue mark that looks like the Ackerman& Fritze mark but I can't quite make it out because it is blurred. Vintage/Antique Volkstedter Dresden Lace Figurine~Courting Couple~V20122 From a local estate. This auction offers a beautiful antique/vintage Aelteste Volkstedter Dresden Lace Figurine showing a courting couple. Be sure to view all the pictures I have added to this page. The couple is seated on a settee and the man is reading to the lady, probably from a book of poetry. Such great detail to every area of this figurine. Sadly, the man's ankle and foot of his right leg is missing and his right forefinger- BUT, did you notice this when you first looked at the pictures? I didn't notice it until I looked at the piece for a while- it is so beautiful. I see no other flaws on this wonderful piece- the lace seems to all be intact, which is unusual, as do all the little flowers and the lady's fingers. This would probably be a $400-$600 ... morepiece were it intact. I hope it will find a home with someone even though it is not perfect. It is marked on the bottom with the Aelteste Volkstedter blue mark and impressed with"V20122. The blue mark used dates it to either 1900-1936 or 1945-1972. It measures approximately 6" side-to-side, 4" front-to-back, and 5 1/4" tall. It would be a wonderful addition to your collection! Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanmanufaktur is one of the last remaining great German porcelain manufactures still working in the tradition of the 18th Century. The golden age of German porcelain. Visiting the Aelteste Volkstedter factory is like taking a step backwards in time. At Aelteste Volkstedter, porcelain is still made the way it was 200 plus years ago, with many of the same molds, and in the same building for almost that long. This is a beautiful Irish Dresden lady musical figurine. She is wearing a green dresden lace dress and playing the harp. Her dress is accented with little porcelain flowers and her harp is white with gold gilt accents. She appears to be in excellent condition with just one very tiny pinhole to her dress and one harp string loose. I'm sure it could be glued back into place. She displays beautifully. Vintage Porcelain Decorative Vase- Marked Dresden This vintage vase was among my mother's treasures. However. I know very little about it. The mark on the bottom(see picture) is the letter"N" over the word"Dresden" Beneath"Dresden" using a jeweler's loupe, there appears to be a 3-digit number. perhaps"170" or"17C" Features As you can see in the pictures. It has four hand painted panels separated by gold scroll work. Each of the two white panels depicts a man and a woman in period dress. Each of the two yellow panels depicts flowers. It seems this vase is generally seen with blue panels. the yellow panels make this somewhat rare! Size& Condition It stands approximately 5 1/2" tall. Top diameter is approximately 2 3/8" Base diameter is approximately 2 7/8" At its roundest. ... moreIts diameter is approximately 4 1/2" It is difficult to see in the pictures. But a"ridge" runs from top to bottom in the middle of each of the yellow panels. It is not visible inside the vase nor can you feel it inside. Some of the gold leaf has worn off on the top rim(visible in the picture) Other than those two disclosures. The vase is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Now that we are downsizing. There is a pair of gorgeous Dresden porcelain Urns with Putti. The lidded vases or urn sits on base with two putti on two sides. And one on the top of lid. The three putti are wearing different colors,blue, yellow, and purple. There are beautiful multi-colored flowers,hand made and applied. The urns measures are11.5" x 8wide.They is a blue mark on the bottom. Both urs are in perfect conditions.

Charming Antique Dresden Demitasse Cup & Saucer
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany at the Silesian Porcelain Factory. P. Donath, in the 1890s. The crossed swords mark is under the glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. Handle not included. The cup is empire style with an ornate pierced handle that rises up over the rim of the cup. The set is hand painted in Dresden style. With garlands of forget-me-nots and yellow bows. There is lacy trim on the rims and additional gilded accents. CONDITION: Excellent
