ANTIQUE VIENNA THREE WEIGHTS WALL CLOCK "RESTORATION PROJECT"
This Clock has been stored away for over 30 years. I'm selling for Restoration Project AS-IS. I didn't try putting the weights and pendulum on and winding it up, so I really don't know if working or not. With that being said, the nicely carved mahogany case overall is in very good condition but it's missing it's wooden crown/top(see picture#12) All the glass is in excellent condition and looks original to the clock accept for the dial glass it needs to be installed and doesn't look to be original? It's missing a few of it's brass ornaments around the wood clock face(see picture#5) I don't know the maker I didn't try to remove the back but took a couple of pictures of clockworks and they look to be in very good condition. Up for sale is a French Bakers wall clock. On the tin face of clock is printed with Teyssier and also Rive de Gier. The clock case is mother of pearl inlayed with large black wooden border. Clock is in good vintage condition.is running but I'm sure it will need a cleaning. I believe the clock is a 8 day and chimes on the half hour and hour. I have the pedulum and key. This beautiful round wood Japanese antique clock. Probably dating from between the 1910's and early 30's boasts a richly colored solid wood frame with brass trimmings and a cream colored face that brings out the amazingly stylish retro font of the big black numbers and minute-marking circular border. There is no brand name that I can find but the face says"MADE IN JAPAN" at the bottom, and there is an engraved fish symbol/logo on the inside mechanics. Except from some minor expected chipping of paint on the face and very light wear and tear it appears in excellent condition. I don't have a key to wind it so can't confirm whether it works or not. Antique Wall Clock - Hourly Strike 8 Day Winding
For auction is a wonderful wall clock we purchased in 2002 from an antique store in Marietta. GA. When we purchased the clock, we were given a brief history of it as follows: Manufactured in Japan after 1915 and probably before 1930. This clock has the original face, pendulum and lower glass. The face has been retouched to restore the original numbers and color. If you look closely you can see the waves and imperfections in the lower glass which indicates its age is probably closer to 1915 than 1930. The clock strikes on the hour and requires winding every eight days. The movement has been completely overhauled" The clock was used up until 3 years ago when I stopped winding it, however, it was left hanging on the wall. I have taken pictures of the"original" face and you can see the touch-ups. The wood carving is gorgeous with ... moreno chips, cracks or restorations. I believe the door latch is brass and is in the shape of a heart. You can barely see some writing on the face at 12 o'clock- I can't make it out. Here is a very nice item for your bidding pleasure. It is an antique 1800's wall clock. The case looks black forest and apparently the works were made in France. It was found in a box in a trunk. Everything looks to be there. There is a pendulum and key. Also I found a part inside of the clock which has fell off. It is in need of some repair. When I wind the left side of the clock. There appears to not be a stop and on the right side of the clock, it just keeps winding. On the face, it has porcelain numbers. On the 12 it says ED Schirrmann and on the 6 it says Paris R. Royale 7. The carving is very impressive. There is a few age cracks, but not bad at all. It measures 27" tall and is 19" wide. Shipping on this item is 22.50 anywhere in the lower 48 states. Antique Wall Clock with chimes - wind up, pendulum
Antique looking wall clock. Says"Orient" on the face. Above the hands. Says"15 Days" on the face below the hands. It is a spring driven clock, with a pendulum. It is fully operational and keeps accurate time. I have adjusted the pendulum so that it is very accurate. When I wind it(about twice a month) it is only off by about 1-2 minutes. It makes a pleasant"tick tock" sound. It chimes the top and bottom of the hour with the same"gong" tone. On the hour. It chimes out the hour- 12 gongs for 12 o'clock, 1 gong for 1 o'clock, 2 gongs for 2 o'clock, etc. At the bottom of the hour it chimes out a single gong. The gong is loud and strong, but not overpowering. I have no idea the age of this clock. I have looked everywhere on it for a date or any other sort of reference number. I cannot find a ... moreserial number. Or a date, or any other such marking. The sticker on the back says"Orient 15 days China Made in Shantou" The finish is antique looking. With a cracked style glaze on it. Whether or not this patina is age or a special treatment, I do not know. As you can see in the pictures. There are two outlines on the floor of the pendulum chamber- one of them is obviously of the wind key- the other is of an unknown object that is not part of the clock. Please refer to the pictures for condition of the clock. It has some nicks and scratches and I would consider it to be fragile. It will be VERY carefully packaged for shipping. Antique Picture Frame Wall Clock W/ Mother of Pearl Inlaid ca. 1900's
This is a French Inlaid Picture frame repeater clock from what I am told is the late 1800's early 1900's. Rings on the hour. About 2 minutes past the hour, and half hour. Runs perfectly. Case appears to have been repaired, but all the wire and mother of pearl appear to be there. There is a glass covered inner frame, then an outer ornate frame as well. It measures 25 1/2 tall by 19 1/2 wide. The fave says Gaffe" at the top. And Abbeville at the bottom of the dial. Porcelain dial appears to be original and I see no chips or cracks. You can see that some of the painted ticks and rings of red on the dial is missing the paint, and the numerals have glue residue where attached. looks like it will clean off) I know nothing more about this. For sale is a nice reproduction of an antique or vintage ship clock nautical style clock. Which is based on one advertising a Paris utilities factory from the 1890's. This clock is new old stock, assembled in USA several years ago and in storage since. The clock measures 10 1/2" diameter at the front side and 11 1/2" diameter at the back. The clock is made of brass finished metal sheet. The lens on the hinged bezel is glass, not plastic. Steel Hands. The movement is a quartz AA battery type, made in USA. Battery is included. Some patina and distressing is present on the case, but this just lends to the authentic look of the piece. Look at the photos, ask me any questions you may have. The gleaming case measures 40 inches tall x 13 1/2 inches x 7 inches, and has no damage other than that described. The amazing part is that the turned wood case is all original with no damage, including a wonderful bookmatched interior.
