The widest portion) x 6 3/8” deep vintage“Revere Westminster Chime Telechron Motored” electric clock with a 68” long fabric thread-wrapped cord has a beautiful gothic arch wood case, which is in very good vintage condition with the exceptions of occasional, tiny, light rubs, scratches, and surface gouges(the most noticeable is on the front top, near the right edge) and light, scratched-in numbers on the underside of the base. The silver-tone metal clock face has a few tiny, scattered scratches, and multiple black dots on the right side. The clock does run, appearing to keep accurate time, and pleasantly chimes quarterly. However, the hourly chimes are not accurate– they don't correspond with the time on the face, and there seems to be extra soft chime echoes. Two Antique Spelter Ansonia Sitting Lady Clock Toppers
Pair of antique Ansonia spelter clock toppers. They are both toppers of women sitting in two different poses. One is sitting on a bench and the other is sitting holding a harp in one hand. Both of these clock toppers have some wear to the finish. They also each have a crack on the back side of the topper. The woman holding the harp has a crack on the leg of the bench. Which does not go all the way through. The other lady sitting has a crack on the bench as well as a very small one close to the leg of the woman. Unashamedly Art Deco in its styling. On offer for auction is this brown bakelite Smiths brand, Selectric model, mains powered wall clock. Voltage is listed as 200- 250 Volts, 50 Hz(cycles/sec) a.c. so it is suited to Australia, etc; UK, just change the plug; other countries will need a transformer and frequency converter. Marketed(and marked on the back) by the Synchronome clock house of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is working and has had a replacement cord fitted. as can be seen in the images. To start it, for those who have not expreienced the'old-skool' clocks like this, one pushes the knob after setting the time. Just plugging it in won't always make it go. Approximately 13" wide, and approximately 6 3/4" thick. The face of the clock is approximately 5" in diameter and is porcelain. The clock is made of wood with the horse, gears, bell, pendulum, and rim of the clock face made of brass. The glass door of the clock opens to allow access to the clock. The height of the pendulum can be adjusted. The key for winding the clock is included along with a small metal hook. The back of the clock features a small metal hanger for affixing the clock to a wall. The wooden section on top of the clock and the horse which sits on top of it can both be removed. This Magnificent Old German Black Forest'8 day' Cuckoo clock was found at a recent private estate sale. Please view the pictures below) The family at the estate said there grandmother brought the clock back from Germany in the 1940's. This Cuckoo clock is absolutely unique in design displaying a lovely winged Bird at the very top(She even has a glass inlaid eye) and accented on both sides with dimensionally carved Maple leaves and tree branches. The center front is framed with more of the hand carved leaves. Branches and a fabulous lower piece that was carved in to curved winding tree limbs. This entire piece was hand carved from a single piece of wood(Amazing talent) The face of the clock was also carved from wood and numbered in White Roman numerals. The hands are also very decorative in design. The face is marked at the bottom"Germany' ... moreThe back of the clock has a wooden access door that still maintains the original paper instructions label on it. The upper front peak of the clock has a little hinged wooden door that when it opens the Cuckoo bird will appear on the hour and half hour. He will coo coo once on the half hour and as many times needed for the hour of day on the hour. There is also a musical chime that sounds in the background each time he coo coos. The movement of this clock is of the finest German quality and marked'Germany' on it. Made from solid brass metal and runs for 8 days when fully wound. The movement is powered by two large metal weights shaped like Pine cones that hang on Brass chains. The movement is regulated by a hand carved leaf pendulum that swings back and forth underneath the clock. The overall condition is very good for the age of the clock. I do not see any repairs, nicks or cracks anywhere. The clock runs fine. Remember this clock is a 8 day clock, not like the usual 1 day clocks that you normally see. If you missed out on the last"King" listed here's your second chance. Very sought after and the price is rising all the time. The front glass door obviously has its original classic silver design on the glass showing a nice amount of wear for its age giving it desirable character. Everything else is as you see it too. In great condition indeed. But it hasn't been restored or interfered with as far as I can see. Original from the factory over 100 years ago. You might want to give it some antique wax but I haven't done a thing to it. The patina on the lions' heads and the Ansonia Lady are very old and attractive. Zoom in on the HD photos to check it ... moreout. This clock is not only classy it works extremely well with a nice clear single cathedral gong on the half hour and counting out the hours. This is a wonderful Waterbury mantel clock. I just had it service it works great keep time well and the chimes are beautiful. However. Because I will be shipping this item it may need to be adjusted. Formed March 5. 1857, as a joint stock corporation, the Waterbury Clock Company from its inception was an operation designed to be a major user of brass produced by the parent firm, the Benedict& Burnham Manufacturing Company. Utilizing the best talent available to them, they hired veteran clockmaker Chauncey Jerome to set up the new firm’s casemaking shop and his brother Noble Jerome, a well-known clock mechanic, to set up the movement manufacturing operation. The front glass door has its classic golden design on the glass which is in great condition. It has a bright clean golden face. Very attractive hands and a very unique enamelled design pendulum bob which you don't often see. This is a beautiful clock and barometer. The clock keeps good time and the barometer seems to work. Although we are in CA and the weather does not change much. The base is 13-1/4" wide and 4" deep. C. 1820, double weight, chiming bell movement made by Eli Terry for Seth Thomas, Plymouth, C.T. with painted wood dial, beautiful stencil eagle on top, reverse painted fruit basket at bottom door. Height 34 in. width 17 1/2 in. depth 4 1/4 in. Does not work but all parts are there with weights and key. There is a hairline crack in frame corner, see picture 7, and small side top molding missing, see picture 8. These do not detract from beauty of clock, it displays very nicely.

The movement is fine running and striking. The cabinet and dial are in fairly good condition. The cabinet needs a good clean up and maybe some attention. French Figurative Mantle Clock
A horse and chariot figurative mantle clock with a French movement that strikes on a bell. There is a chip on the porcelain dial at the 8 and 4 position around the winding holes. The beveled glass is in perfect condition. The base is marble and also is in good condition. The movement is stamped“ societe clusienne” S.C.A.P.H.Cluses. The clock is complete with pendulum and key. The clock does run when the pendulum is swung. But eventual stops.

Antique Clock Seth Thomas and Co. Made January 1900 Selling a very beautiful Seth Thomas Clock made January 1900. It is in very nice condition. The clock does not have a mechanical movement. It is fitted with a chiming quartz movement which will stop chiming from 9pm and recommence at 6am. Handy for sleeping! No winding just look and enjoy this beautiful piece. It has had a new paper dial(numbers) fitted. The bezel dial and glass are in excellent condition and the hinge has had minimal wear. The overall finish on the case is extremely good considering its age with no peeling of the finish and the imitation marble pieces are still almost as new. There are only a few small blemishes that would go with the age of this old piece. Please study the pictures yourself. The year of manufacture is stamped on the bottom of the clock in reverse.With ... morea letter next to it. which for some strange reason is what they did with letters from A to L for each month of the year. In this case the letter A meaning it was manufactured in January of 1900. I have two of these clocks and have decided to part with one. This is a hard to find clock and not common.
