Cracks or scratches, etc. The Brass bezel, rear cover and glass is the same. There is some very minor soiling on the color matching face. A new period silk covered cord and round plug replace the old one as the original was long gone. The green felt on the bottom of the base is in good condition and original. The clock runs and keeps accurate time. The works has been lubricated, where applicable. It measures 7" tall X 10" wide X 2-1/ deep. Rare Gustav Becker Sub Miniature Vienna Regulator Clock
A rare antique Sub Miniature Vienna Regulator Clock. I believe this clock was made by Gustav Becker. It has a and exotic wood case which looks like Rosewood and the pendulum is marked"R A" The clock measures only 15 3/4" high including the finial. It is not in working condition. It seems to be wound tight. The clock case is in very nice condition with only a few small spots of wear on the ebonized edges of the wood and a repair on the top of the door, see photos. The finial was repaired behind the brass medallion. The inner dial has fractures but the enamel is intact. It came with a pocket watch key which isn't for this clock but I will include it. Rare Art Deco Antique French Metal Wall Clock from France
For your French decor. A fabulous and rare find ~ a French metal wall clock dating from the 1930s. A great piece from the French Art Deco period. The square clock has been made from metal that has been decorated with a chromolithograph Art Deco motif. It measures 13 inches square. In vintage condition with wear to the imagery and light rusting overall. Made in Saint-Etinne(trademark on the face of the clock) Clock mechanism is still intact within a round metal case on the backside. Dark blue on the backside of clock. Original winding key is included. However, clock has not been cleaned and appears to be not be working. New owner may choose to have it professionally cleaned to work. Metal loop on the round casing in the back for hanging on the wall. Will be carefully packed for shipping within the USA only.

J.E. Caldwell(Philadelphia) French Mechanism Beyond my ability for restoration. Although I think the mechanism itself is in good shape. I was wound it a few times and it feels good. No issue with the springs and with the pendulum off it will tick-tock for a while so it probable requires some oil and cleaning. Cool pendulum. Never saw one like that with gall cylinders. I think this might be 1924. There seems to be some date stamp on the bottom. Very heavy for such a small clock. Stands approx 10" tall x 4.5" deep and wide. Two opening glass doors front and back Case is brass. Not in spectacular shape but not terrible either Face looks like it had the J.E. Caldwell logo at one time but faded. No keys Not sure what else to say. Restored this clock is worth a mint.

Acorn Clock USA Repro from 1970's authentic size & shape & reverse painted glass
Attractive and much older Reproduction of an Acorn clock made to the same dimensions as the originals- yes it is a LARGE clock. The same size as the original design. This reproduction I believe dates from the 1970's. Visual appeal makes this either a clock for the collector or a decorator piece to set an American mood or theme in a function centre. The clock is of 8 day duration. Running strongly after storage for many years, and the German movement will keep pretty accurate time for a week or more between windings. Glass over dial is wavy similar to that found in older clocks. Height 25 inches Width 14 inches Depth 5 inches. All measurements being to longest points. One hand fell off during photographs at the time without it being noticed for which I apologise. As the little pin which stops this happening had fallen out. 9870 Main St. Damascus. MD 20872 Wm L Gilbert Antique Steeple Clock Parlor Mantle 1866-1871, Here we have a Wm L Gilbert antique steeple clock. It measures about 19" tall x 11" wide x 4-1/2" deep. Features time and strike brass movement and an original art-glaze etching in the glass door. The photos should speak well enough of the condition- peeling veneer- a cracked support- pendulum is not correct. The clock seems to be in partially working condition but will require adjustment or repair to be perfect- chime cranks and strikes. Movement keeps pace but slows down(maybe because the weight is not correct) Collectors know that it is not uncommon for one of these to sell for as much as $500 so good luck. History: Gilbert Manufacturing Company(1866-1871) was dissolved after a fire destroyed the factory. This firm had grown out ... moreof the clock making operations of William L. Gilbert(1806-1890) who. Since 1828, had been involved in various clock making partnerships in Bristol, Farmington and Winsted, Connecticut. In July of 1873. The new factory complex was completed and manufacturing commenced. George B. Owen(1834-1916) had come to Winsted in 1866 as General Manager and ran the firm for nearly 50 years, designing many interesting cases and patenting several clock movement features. Owen also operated a concurrent clock business at Winsted between 1875 and 1894. In 1897. The Gilbert firm built a four-story building for a new case shop and another building by 1900 for storage and shipping. A three-story office building was built in 1902.
