Telechron Cobalt Blue Electric Chrome Clock Model 4F65 Art Deco Mantle Table
This beautiful Cobalt Blue and Chrome Telechron Model 4F65 Mantel Clock was produced between 1935-1939. This is one of the nicest original clocks that I have seen. The mirror on this clock is near perfect. I can find only a few small chips in the silver paint on the back edges of the mirror which are hardly visible from the front view. They definitely do not take away from this beautiful classic clock. The roman numerals are near perfect on this clock which is rare since they are usually worn which comes with age and cleaning. The blue dial and brass hands are in great condition. The chrome base is in good condition with no rust and only fine scratches. The power cord is in good shape also which I believe is original. This is a working Swiss sub-miniature blue Guilloche enamel and silver gilt sub-miniature travel timepiece. Circa early 20th century, with the original leather case and key. It has JTC engraved on the bottom along with the numeral 6524, the word Argent, and a monogram of JTC. Inside back door swings down and is signed"Geneva Clock Co" JTC, SWISS, 6524 and ARGENT. Up for auction to U.S. customers only is a nice old Wm. Gilbert mantel clock picked up while traveling in Florida. It has six marbleized pillars. The key, and it runs, chiming on the half hour and the hour. It measures 17 inches wide, 12 inches high and 6 inches deep.Here are the issues: It runs for 4-5 days and keeps pretty good time(I've adjusted the fast/slow mechanism but never got it exactly right) so it could probably stand servicing since the sticker on the inside shows it was probably last done in 1998; the black finish has some minor wear; the paper covering the pillars has separated on several of them; there is serious wear to several of the numbers on the face(most noticeable around holes where the key was inserted) the back cover is missing; there are two eye hooks on either side, for what reason I don't know. In short ... moreit isn't pristine, but the case is in solid shape with a faint ornate design just below the face, it keeps pretty good time and chimes nicely. A good restoration project for the clock collector. I don't know anything else about this item so please ask questions. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions. It stands 84" 7' tall x 20" at widest& 9"deep at deepest part of base. It has nice quarter round reeded columns along the side of the case. The dial is in nice condition, but the markings are worn off in spots, as is the maker's name.the dial& works look to be original to each other. The clock is complete with pendulum& large cast iron weights. It has a large brass movement. Clock runs. Do not know if it keeps proper time. Red changes to white every 12 hrs as it should. Small damage on top right of case, very minor. Piece chipped off back of right hand side, Cannot see from the front. No real scratches and bakelite is not cracked. I used a polish and got it back to a high gloss. Glass is good. Fantastic Antique French Crystal, Dore Bronze and Stone clock l9th cent.
Beautiful Dore Bronze stone(marble? crystal clock of exceptional design and quality. The bronze castings are beautiful and highly detailed. The stone is unusual in color and the columns are very fine and in excellent condition. Movement is very clean and keeps good time. Strike is a little stiff but strikes most of the time. Both springs are new. Note the porcelain dial is lightly painted and in excellent condition. Only the bezel opens on the front the glass below the movement is beveled and fixed. All glass is clean and free from cracks or chips except for back door which has a very minor chip in the top beveled area next to the bronze frame. It is very hard to see. Only other flaw is on top behind large finial is a small hole which has been filled and can be seen in the photograph. I must say this is one of the nicest french clocks I have ... moreowned. I have looked and looked and have not found one of this style. Most of all in this condition. For its age it shows beautifully with some loss to the dore finish. With a shaped slide-down lower body, with the original carved gilded figures of Atlantis to the centre, between two trumpeting angels to the cresting of the hood which houses the beautiful painted dial with a Dutch country scene. Original, ornately cut brass hands to the centre, with Arabic and Roman numerals around the dial. Glass panels also to the sides of the hood, which also houses the 30 hour chain driven with bell strike and alarm work, striking the hours and half hours. This is a neat clock that has been in my collection for 10 years and which I have used from time to time. Clock and Alarm works. And is on a 24hr. wind. The top button is to set the alarm, and the front switch on the left turns on or off the alarm. Nice soft Tick Clock is in good shape except for the usual signs of age and use. Both dials are paper. And a little yellowed with age. Tried to show there is a small crack to the top back- may have been glued but you really cannot tell. Can be set on a table or there is a place on the back at the top where it can be hung on the wall. I have up for sale a lovely vintage/ antique circa early 1900s signed ROSE O'NEILL romping kewpies decorated German Jasperware Clock. The dome shaped jasperware green/ white case features Rose O'Neill kewpies and small flowers adorned on the arched upper section. The clock case measures approx 4-3/4" across. Approx 4" tall and roughly 1-1/2" deep not including the winding key or mechanism rods. It is in Very Good Estate Fresh Condition- a couple of minor nicks as stated in the condition report and shown in the pics. Really quite minor and not something that will distract from the cuteness of this little gem. The clock face is in nice shape. Appears to be paper and the bezel is has a gold color finish- some wear as you can see. The crystal is clear and has no issues. The movement will need some repair. When I purchased ... morethe clock it was wound tight and was not running. At the time I did the listing. I gave the clock a little bit of shaking as sometimes these old movements are simply not working because the oil has coagulated and not allowing the clock to run. Wonderful and very beautiful wood. Painted case clock. Keeps great time and chimes perfectly.What is wonderful, I think, is that the clock"gongs" on the hour and has a different bell for the half hour that is a wonderful lingering ding. I could not find a makers mark on the case or the works.mind boggling to me that a great clock like this would not have any markings on the case, face or works. Other than the usual wear on the case the only thing I need to point out is that the latch on the back has been replaced with a screw. Easily fixed. 16 inches wide, 11 inches tall and 7 inches deep. Has a bowed glass on the front with no chips or cracks. Great and beautiful clock! Email with questions. This is an estate find and I have several more clocks to list once I make sure that they run and chime appropriately.

I have up for sale a beautiful vintage are deco circa 1930s Molded Amber Glass Clock. The top features a flower basket molded design. The sides have little girl type figures holding floral garlands. This is a true vintage clock dating to the 30s, not a remake. The clock case is attributed Heinrich Hoffmann, a very similar clock can be found on the Black Poppy website which is devoted to Art Deco Pressed/ Molded Glass. This is a perfect go along with any art deco czech perfume bottle collection. The clock case stands approx 3-1/4" tall. Approx 3" wide and 2" deep. Wonderful clock in as found condition Aestetically pleasing but not perfect by any means. Measures aprox 31" to the top of the center finial. 29" tall to the highest scroll. 17 3/8" wide x 4 1/4" deep. The reverse painting is near perfect Inside label and instructions are in great shape Dial shows wear but in decent condition The wood is not perfect but still looks good(looks repaired in some areas) The movement(ST SETH THOMAS) is not original. It is not even close, however it keeps great time and chimes on the half and at 12:00. Stunning Ansonia Rosalind Mantle Clock w/ Key Excellent Working Condition!
Stunning Ansonia Rosalind model mantle clock. This clock dates from the late Victorian period. Somewhere from 1886-1900, it was cataloged all those years. I don't know enough about these to pinpoint the year any closer. This is a very ornate clock. It is in excellent original condition. There are a few very old touch ups around the lower part of the base, they are difficult to see. Other than that it appears to be completely original and has very little wear. Hinge on face bezel resoldered. I have run this clock for a while and it works well. It strikes one chime on the half hour and one for each hour. It has a very nice deep sound, not a shrill ring like some mantel clocks are. It keeps good time. Plan on fine tuning it after it's been running for a while(typical) Don't know what else to say about this clock other than I'm ... morekind of reluctant to part with such a lovely piece! Unusual Antique Mahogany Wood Case Ansonia Alarm Dresser Bedroom Clock
I have up for sale a wonderful vintage. Last patent date Nov 10, 1914, Ansonia Wood Case Alarm Clock. I believe the wood to be mahogany, has original clean finish and is just a really attractive clock. Not sure but believe it to be an 8 day clock. Its key wound- both long and short alarm, with a button on top to silence the alarm. The case is very nice. Stands approx 7" tall, 6-1/2" wide, 2" deep. It is in good cosmetic condition- does have a split/crack in the wood on the right side section- shown in the last pic, no other issues. This looks more like a scratch when you first look at it. I think it could be improved by simply applying some scratch cover to the area. The movement is obviously original. The dial face paper with some minor discoloration. Neat looking alarm set on the top section,which looks like a seconds hand ... morebut is not. It is key wound, winds easily and smoothly. Runs good but should be serviced. I only run it on rare occasion and most the time after being would starts right up but on occasion I have to give it a little shake to get it going. The oil has probably coagulated and needs cleaning. Selling it AS IS with that in mind if you plan on using it and want it to perform to its best abilities. Shows most of original label on lower backside with manufacturer's patent date of September 7 1880. The brass hinged glass front door lens measures 6" across and closes tightly. And the back door slips on and off and clips closed- not a hinged door. This clock ticks and work as it should- though once shipped you may adjust as needed, as well as oil and regulate. I'm not a clock professional was but told this is an 8 day clock- it strikes rings on the hour and half-hour and comes with a key and pendulum. The clock's housing cabinet is made of solid wood with thick black lacquer enamel flat-smooth finish with chased design with gold-leaf. The columns are a celluloid with Bakelite side panels and not cracked. The clock measures ... morea little more than 11" tall and just over 16" long and 7" wide. Weighs about 10 lbs. This condition of this old clock is good working condition but does show some aged areas with patina and porcelain enamel wear on face. A little refurbishing and this old mantle clock would display nice.
