The clock is very impressive in size with a overall length of 16 1/2" from top of bird's wing to bottom of the pendulum and a width of 9" at the widest point. The Beautifully Hand Painted Forest Blue Bird with a lovely Red Breast at the top is the eye catching focal point. She has her wings spread and very colorful life like feathers and a Orange color Breast high lighted in Red. She even has a glass inlaid eye. Accented on both sides of her are colorful carved Maple leaves and tree branches. The center of the clock is framed with more of these lovely leaves and branches. This RARE 1945-49 US ZONE Old German Black Forest Hand Carved"Hunter" theme Cuckoo clock was found at a recent private estate sale along with several other old Cuckoo clocks. Please view the pictures below) This Black Forest Cuckoo clock was totally deep carved in a dimensional look showing"life like" details in all the animals. The clock is very impressive in size with measurements of 19" from top of Stag's antlers to bottom of the pendulum and 9 1/2" wide at the widest point.Really grand) There are many wonderful carvings and other items that catch your eye. So I will start at the top mentioning the large carved Stag's head displayed on a unique shaped plaque at the very top peak of the clock. The Stag has very large antlers and accented on both sides with hand carved Elm leaves and tree branches. He ... moreeven has Glass inlaid eyes. The center of the clock is completely framed with more of the Elm leaves and branches with a Hunter's pouch at the bottom. This piece was carved from a single piece of wood(Incredible) On both sides of the center piece are displayed the Hunter's catch of the day. A carved Pheasant bird on the right and a Rabbit on the left.The face is easy to read with Roman numerals done in White and marked"Germany" at the bottom and framed with a circular Hunter's horn also caved from wood. The hands are also decorative in design. The back of the clock is marked"Made in Germany Bachmaier& klemmer US Zone" Cuckoo clocks are hard to date. But with the US Zone shows the clock made during the US occupation of Germany after WWII. The movement is of the finest German quality made and also marked the same as the back. It was created from solid Brass and powered by two pine cone shaped metal weights that hang on Brass chains beneath the clock. It was made ca. 1904, the model is called“CREST” The clock is crafted in the highly ornate Rococo style with a porcelain face and is adorned at the top with a cherub holding an artist’s pallet. It is marked on the face as shown in the photos also on the back of the works inside is marked Ansonia. The finish looks to be a bronze finish, but I can’t be sure. The clock measures 12-1/2 inches tall from the bottom to the top of the cherub’s head. It is 6-1/2 inches wide and measures 5 inches from the front to the back legs. The clock runs then stops. Rare And Unusual E Gubelin Bezel Wind Enameled Ball Clock
For auction I'm offering for your bidding consideration a most unusual ball shaped watch by E Gubelin. It rests in a fire gilded footed stand. I just had it serviced and cleaned. It does run strong and keeps good time. It is 2 1/2" tall in the stand x 2 1/4" across. The enameled colors are orange. White, grey, and black. You wind it counter clock wise by the bezel to wind it up. You set the hands by pushing the screw on the bottom and turning the bezel. Right under the brass bezel it looks to be copper which contrasts nicely with the rest of it. There are a couple minor concerns with the enamel that doesn't detract from this very nice clock. There is a number 26 on the bottom of the stand. I will be happy to ship internationally.

The clock mechanism does not seem to work. One foot comes loose because of a retracted screw, it needs a good cleaning and restoration of the mechanism, there is some loss of gilding. It comes with the winding key and pendulum. Both presumed to be original. I describe the metal as being bronze but may be some other metal. It stands a little over 16 inches high by 13 inches wide by 3.75 inches deep. It is very heavy. Decorated with enameled porcelain panels with cherubs and flowers, it is a stunning work of art. Vintage United Metal Co Ships Clock Striking Beautiful Red Lit & Chrome Example
We haven't seen a better example of these iconic ship's clock. This United Metal Company example has gleaming chrome sails and beautiful red accent lighting recessed in the forward and aft deck that we couldn't reproduce in our photos. While listing we found one flaw albeit minute. There is a speck of corrosion on the bow sprit where there is a rope loop. The ship is without it's strung roping which we prefer however we will include the rigging for your determination whether to employ it or not. Antigue Grandfather Clock
It's made of wood. Unknown kind. The face and pendulum are made of tin, we think. weights are heavy, so we are thinking bronze, nothing is marked. The clock is beautiful, and in good condition for it's age. It does have wear because of it's age, but nothing major. And it's all in the pictures, It's chain and weight driven, and it works. It's ready for pick-up.

Vintage Schmeckenbeche German clock
This is a beautiful Schmeckenbeche West German wall Clock. It is in very good condition. The thing the king is holding looks like it might have been repaired. There is a little paint missing were it is attached to his hand. Also on the right side as you face the clock. The trim along the bottom could have been repaired. Its just the 2 pieces. All of them have been stapled on except these 2. Each has 2 holes where it looks like staples were but aren't there now. I assume they are glued on. This doesn't detract from the looks at all. I only noticed when I was looking for any little flaw.It is about 15" tall and 11" wide. It chimes plays music and the men move around the King. The 2 trumpet players also raise and lower their trumpets. Please ask questions before bidding.
