Look at how the corners for this box were put together. It has the Devoes Emblem on all four sides with a Indian in the middle of it. The box has 3 city names on it Brooklyn-Newark-Chiago. It measures 22 1/2" long. 15" wide. 8" deep. Two of the bottom cornes have chip or broken pieces of wood and a chunk on the top corner. You should be able to see all of this in the pictures. Can you image the places it has been and the stories it holds. This box was bought at a Estate sale where i bought several items from the 1800s. The crate is in pretty good condition with a couple of cracks on one side. The label is also in good condition with no rips, tears or stains. It is about 19.5" tall, 12" wide and 9" deep. Cats sitting on a wooden picket fence note paper display was purchased sometime in the early 1980's. There are no markings on the crate to indicate origin or manufacturer. Crate is approximately 5 1/2" long. 3 3/4" high and 1 1/2" deep. I am unsure of how many sheets of 5" x 3 1/2" paper is included, however, the paper measures approximately 3/4" thick. Paper is discolored due to age. Crate construction appears to be glue and metal staples. Item was used for decorative purposes only in a smoke free. Pet free home environment. This is a sturdy 7 Up Wood Crate that is dated October of 1969. It is original with the whitewash background and the"Fresh Up" with 7 Up Logo in red. As you can see by the pictures. Some sides have held up better from age, use, etc. than others. Metal strapping is all intact- don't see any missing nails. Inside is marked"Miller Mfg. Co. Up for bid is a Norcal beverage company Canada Dry soda pop wooden advertising crate. It has 12 divided compartments and the edges are reinforced with metal bands. It's in good shape for age. It measures 17 x 12 x 5" The inside of the crate states that it's made by the Southern Wooden Box Inc company in Arkansas. Not clear as to the age of the crate. The Canada dry lettering is in orange and the sides where it says return for deposit is in a teal green. This ships from a non-smoking home.
