The large crate's capacity is 7 1/2 dozen eggs and has 3 pulp fiber cardboard separators each holding 30 eggs. The medium crate's capacity is 5 dozen eggs and has 2 pulp fiber cardboard separators each holding 30 eggs. The small crate's capacity is 1 1/2 dozen eggs and has 2 pulp fiber cardboard separators each holding 9 eggs. T hey were used on farms for gathering the Hen's eggs from the chicken coop that were to be sold. Rare Antique Vintage Historic Place Minden Creamery Wooden Crate Nevada
You are bidding on a wooden crate from Minden co-op Creamery in Minden. Nevada. The Minden Creamery was added to the United States register for Historic Places in 1986. This is a very early crate. Condition as seen in the photos. Great graphics, intact, very sturdy, wood is in good shape with minimal wear, does have some paint stains and on one end it's really pretty bad. I believe you could get these out by washing it maybe lightly with pressure washer. Not sure, being sold as-is. You are bidding on an wooden soda/ drink coke crate/ carrier. It is stamped inside 1966 Chattanooga TNN. It is one of the heavy ones it weighs approx. 5. 4 LBS. I tried to photograph all sides so please check out photos really good and if you have questions please ask. It measures approx. 18 inches long. width approx. 11 1/2 inches. And depth is 4 inches. the side thickness measure approx. 3/4 inches and the ends measure approx. 1 1/2 inches thick. There is some rust on the metal and there are some cracks in wood.
