N.Y. in very good condition with arrested dry-rot on one end side and lower corner of bottom giving the wood a unique appearance while maintaining it's structural strength. This crate measures 16-1/2" X 13" x 10-1/2" and has cut-out handles and metal strapping on each end. Very strong and durable! The finish is rough. Honey Gold in color with the maker's brand stamped on the sides in a moderately faded and worn emerald green ink. Makes a great functional display for books. New Hampshire Dairy Co-op. Inc. Wooden Milk Crate in very good condition with moderate wear and areas of heavy Patina from age and use. Manufactured by Dunning Corp. Darien. Conn. This crate measures 13-1/2" x 12-3/4" x 10-1/4" and has"cut-out" handles. One on each side. One of the branded sides of the crate displays the makers mark clearly in Green Ink, the opposite side is dark from age and somewhat legible. Also, along the top of this side is a chip taken out of the wood approximately 2" long. The wood is in very good condition and is plenty strong. No dry rot. See photos, what you see is what you get!
