Up for auction is a very early and seldom seen"Teacher's Highland Cream Whisky" wooden crate from Glascow Scotland. This is a very nice early example. The inside wood of the crate has been gaugued out to fit the 12 bottles snuggly against the sides. Wm. Teacher& Sons Ltd was the distributor of this whisky around 1898.The early crate is in very solid structural condition and is approx 18 inches wide by 11 1/2 deep and runs 8 inches in height. Stenciling on all four sides and the number 55 which may be the number of the crate during shipping. This is a very nice crate which brand is not often seen.
