It certainly is not air tight with gaps in the seams where the nails could be tapped in tighter but the wood is a little warped. Boller went out of business sometime after 1993. And the factory does not appear to have been taken over by any other concern.

Wood wine rack that you can assemble any way you wish. Easy assembly-no tools required. Just push the pins into the holes on larger pieces.Will hold up to 20 bottles depending on how you want to configure it. Sturdy. Safe. I used it in three separate sections in my wine cellar before I moved. Here I changed it to stand on the floor in one large rack. A few of the pieces have a bit of red wine stain on them. This entire rack can be stained or painted if you want. I liked the natural look and felt the wine stains added character. I have switched to a larger wall unit and no longer have need of this one.
