This is a vintage wood end piece to a crate. The wood piece has an image of Hecules on it and that makes it interesting. The paper label has been on there for many years as these were popular crates in the 1930's. The wood end measures 11 by 11 inches and wood is 1/2 inch thick. There are some nails still in the sides of the wood and some empty nail holes on diffferent sides. There are a few spots where the paper has been rubbed off and left a wood showing. Vintage Wooden Coca Cola Crate Wheelbarrow Wood Coke Bottle Caddy
This auction is for a Vintage Coca Cola Wooden Crate Wheelbarrow. This is a neat piece! Someone added the bottom to make the wooden crate look like a wheelbarrow! The crate has 4 sections to hold 4 6 packs of Coke bottles. It is red with white writing, the paint has worn off and one side of the crate is worn off more than the other, crate feels good and stout. The wheelbarrow addition would look nice painted in black? or just leave the way that it is, the wood has aged some and the end of one handle has some of the wood worn off shown in the last photo. Up for auction is a vintage Pepsi Cola wooden crate. This measures 18 1/2 x 12" and is 4 1/4" tall. It was meant to carry 24 bottles. It does not have the wooden bottle dividers. It is marked Sedalia. Mo. On both ends. It is in overall nice shape with normal wear and tear for its age. It has various spots of discoloration from age and the red Pepsi Cola is a bit faded on one side. The wood is cracked on one end completely across.
