These beautiful lamps look like oil lamps. But they have been designed to be electric with an old key-type switch. The Flower domes are hand painted which fit tightly in the holders. They can use decorative light bulbs or regular low wattage ones. They plug into any receptacle and switch on and off on the side. They are much prettier in person. Hate to let these go, but have to. This is a nice vintage pair of Aladdin marked alacite lamps in very light pink with elegantly scrolled handles on both sides. Both are in very good working condition and have replacement lamp cords. There are two minor defects; both have a few tiny shallow chips missing from the bottom surfaces of their bases(the remainder of both lamps is free of cracks and chips) And one of the on/off switches sticks a little and doesn't want to"snap" into the on or off position unless it's wiggled back and forth a little. The lamps measure 18" high by 4 1/2" wide at the base. Both lamps have a lamp harp on which to place a shade, but I do not have shades or finials for them.

This listing is for a pair of vintage. Mid century, tole sconce lamps with frosted glass chimneys. They have twist switches. The lamps measure 12.25" to the tops of the shades, 13.75" to the tops of the chimneys, 3.5" across the bottoms, the canopy is a little over 4.75" across, and the distance from the wall to the outside edge of the shade is about 7.5" The undersides of the canopies have surface rust. The chimneys have black marks where they rub on the metal in the socket area, and where the shades rub. These are the type that plug in. We have tested them, and they do work. Vintage eames era mid century Danish Modern table lamps teak? with shades
For sale is a pair of vintage mid century Danish Modern style wood and brass table lamps. I purchased these at an estate sale that had many awesome pieces that came from a home that was decorated with mid century modern pieces. They are about 20 inches tall to top of finial without shade(with shade about 22) And have a 5 inch base. The bases of the lamps are a shiny brass colored metal and the body of the lamps are a wood which I believe to be teak or some other hard wood. The metal parts do show some tarnishing and scuffs. Both of these things are very minor and as you can see from the pictures does not interfere with the overall beauty or function of lamps. Include as a matter of accuracy of description. Shades are a part of the auction and measure about 11 inches tall and are about 8 1/2 inches wide on the top and bottom. When I wiped away a few small smudges inside I exposed wood in just one area of paper lining where there was a 1/2" waxy deposit. Very rare to find a PAIR of wedgwood lamps I purchased these 13 years ago when i was first married in an antique store in Boston. MA on Charles St. If anyone knows this area they probably know what I paid for them! I hate hate hate to part with them BUT we have 3 young children and too many close calls with these lamps. They are antique as I said and I don't want to see them broken. I feel it's best to send them on their way to a safe zone with someone who will love them as much as I do! They are in perfect working order as I show in the pictures. They take two bulbs in each and have pull strings to turn them on for each bulb. I only have one bulb in them as they were by my bedside and I felt one bulb was enough. They have NO chips at all. I do see a few scuffs. I am sure they have always been there. The decorative gold painted are raised and have a very nice quality to them Finial balls appear to be milk glass and match nicely with the lamps. Pair of beautiful unusual corner period vintage brass carriage lights lamps
A pair of very unusual handmade corner brass carriage lights in beautiful condition. These are designed to be mounted where two walls meet at approximately right angles. They are believed to be french in origin and are solid brass with unmarked mirrors and glass. Their age is unknown. The closing pin on one light has had a very minor repair at some stage but this is hardly visible and does not affect the opening/closing of the front to facilitate lamp replacement or the look of the lantern. The lanterns have been professionally fitted with new cables including an earthing wire(to meet safety/wiring regulations) and tested. Viewed from above these lanterns are triangular(with a right angle at the back corner) The overall dimensions of each lantern are height = 325mm. Width = 245mm and depth(to the back corner) = 130mm. The length of each of ... morethe back two sides is 175mm. The front glass is 245mm square. The lanterns each take a single standard ES lamp(E27) note the photographs show the lamp being reflected in the mirrors. I believe the base is milk glass with reproduction globes. Purchased at an Ohio giant flea market forty years ago. Vintage Pair of Nautical Cylone Lamps Brass
Up for auction is a beautifully restored pair of Brass Cyclone Lamps with Amber glass. I could not find the maker of these lamps other than they are marked"Made in New Jersey" on the front. They are electrified and work perfectly. I found them in an antique shop completely tarnished and dirty. I had them professionally cleaned and polished several years ago and had them mounted above my fireplace mantle. They look spectacular when lit. I recently moved and don't have a place for them. Vintage Bedroom. Boudoir or Parlor Set of 2 Lamps ~ All Heavy Glass These lamps and the shades are made entirely of glass. The glass is 1/4" thick on both shades and bases. Pattern in the glass makes a beautiful light pattern on the wall! They measure 10-3/4" tall to the top of the glass shade. 13" to the top of the metal finial. The base is 4-1/2" across. The shade is 8" wide at the bottom. Nice white cords with thumb switches. Cords are just under 7 ft. long. There are no identifying marks. These will be shipped insured in a sturdy carton.
