DANISH MODERN Vintage Pair of TEAK TABLE LAMPS w/Orig Paper Shades, Mid-Cent Mod
Offered is this excellent pair of vintage. Period DANISH MODERN teak table/nightstand lamps. With original pleaded, paper accordion shades, electrical wiring, plug and thumb turn switch. They are not signed but they could be possibly by ESP. The lamps measure 19 1/2" in overall height(including the shades. The teak base is 11" in height and is 3 1/2" in width. The teak is very rich, with rich, warm color. One base is nearly perfect while the other has a shallow abrasion and another very slight one but do not deter from their overall beauty. The pleaded paper shades I believe are original, with wire bulb clasps. One shade suffers from a partial break on the apex of a pleat while both shades show some areas of minor compaction on the pleated edge as a result of resting against an object, putting pressure on the folds. The paper ... moreshades are unstained and are in good condition and are proportionate to the size of the teak bases. Simple, graceful and quietly elegant, they would lend a dignified harmony and symmetrical balance to a credenza or to adjacent nightstands bookending a bed. OVERALL CONDITION: VERY GOOD

I am offering a few boxes of Western Electric switchboard lamps and all of the lamps come inside their original box and packets. The boxes each show wear with discoloration. Yellowing, fading, creases, dulling corners, edge wear, scuff marks, remnants of torn tape, pencil markings, grease pencil markings, rips, marker marks, and other general wear. The packets also show wear with each showing at least one or more of the following: rips, tears, folds, creases, bends, discoloration, fading, rub wear, scuff marks, and other general wear. Each box came from a basement and they do have what I call a basement type of smell. Check the pictures for the general cosmetic wear of the items. 2 x VINTAGE RETRO PHOTAX ALUMINIUM LAMPS clip on lamp - c. 1950's
2 Stylish. Vintage lamps, made by Photax. Photax British made stamp on the side of each lamp. Both lamps need polishing and rewireing Dating 1950's. Possibly earlier. Lamp 1- with a clip attachment is 26 cm deep x 15cm diameter. Lamp 2- with adjustable stand is19cm high x 18 cm diameter. The inside of the shade has a brushed aluminum finish with age related marks. But a good polish will remove them I have removed the original silk covered cable. So they will need re-wireing, but t he lamp fittings unscrew from the aluminum shade so that they can be rewired easily. They need a good polish. Some very minor is has a couple of shallow dents and some surface scratches/scuffs from use as you would expect from a used, vintage item.

DESCRIPTION. This is a Vintage pre 1946 Royal 7 Light Candelabra Set with C-7(C7) General Electric Lamps. Bakelite sockets and a cloth covered wire. It is Catalog No. 350. One spare bulb is included. This set Does Not include Mazda Lamps due to the difficulty in finding good presentable bulbs. These bulbs had paint on the outside which chipped and flaked easily, due to moisture and handling. The version of GE bulbs, after the MAZDA name was dropped, are in this set. These still can chip and flake, but are easier to find. The set operates in parallel. Which means when one bulb burns out or becomes loose, the rest stay lit. Since even these C7 bulbs are so hard to find in good shape, a dimmer device would save these bulbs a lot longer and still give you enough light. This string is in Good Condition. The string is original. But not real flexible. The set works and all the bulbs light. The bulbs have slight paint chipping, and have"G-E" stamped on the paint. Pair of vintage hand painted milk glass and brass lamps
These lamps are so pretty. I don't know that much about them because I got them at a yard sale. They stand about 11in tall without the globe and about 13 1/2 in tall with the globe. The base is marble and square about 4x4. One of the globes has a small flea bite on edge and the brass looks like it could use some TLC. But other then that they are beautiful. vintage black with gold trim horse lamps mid century set of 2 with shades. Bought these at a consignment shop. Old style plugs-looks like one plug was changed-see pictures. One of the shades inside is more discolored from age then the other. Lamps work well-and they are very cute. The shades are 9 1/2"opening 7" Horses are 14" tall-23" to top of shade.
