The Lamp Base has a French Victorian Scene in the Center with a Man courting a Lady. There is a lot of 22k Gold Accents on the 2 handles. The raised motif around the portrait, there is a 1/2" band of 22k gold surrounding the base followed by 2 smaller bands of 22k gold, and 1 more band of gold surrounding the top rim of the base. There is very minimal Gold Loss, some on the handles, but it may have been created this way to give an Antique look back in the 1940's. The background of the Lamp base has been done in a pearlized ... moreBlue Marble Finish. The Lamp Shade is Hand Made and has a white satin lining. This hand painted circa 1890 Bradley and Hubbard Hanging Library Lamp is in excellent original condition. We are not experts of Bradley and Hubbard Lamps. But all of its parts appear to be original, with the exception that some of the crystals have been replaced. The motor(chain assembly) works and allows the Lamp to be moved up and down. We have shown this in one of our pictures. Extended about 6 inches. All of the milk glass parts are in good condition with no cracks. The fount has its number 206 on the bottom. Here is an authentic. Difficult to find, late 19th Century Hanging Chandelier Lamp. This fabulous lamp is in very good vintage condition. The center wick. Is original; ready for kerosene or lamp fuel. The 3 outer arms have blue. Glass globes that have been electrified and use standard light bulbs. The metal finish is in very good overall condition. The original. Glass shades ~ 3 blue ones and a large, white, opaque dome ~ are in excellent condition. We have the matching blue globe for the center. Kerosene lamp, but it is not pictured. Each of the globes measures about 4 1/2" tall by 4 1/4" in diameter. Thus there are 4 blue globes-3 outer. One center- and the white dome) There is about a 28" span from the center of one blue globe on the arm end to the center of the next one. Brass Victorian lamp converted to electric LoOK
This lamp does not come with any of the shades shown as they dont really fit that well. I will offer them as an extra for sale if the Buyer so wishes but they are not the original fit for this type of lamp As you can see it is a fairly early old brass victorian lamp. I dont think there are many around like this and its a shame that this one has been converted but could be put back to oil again with a little bit of work. This item has been in storage for many years and needs to be serviced whilst it does work an electrician would be best employed by the Buyer to ensure the item is safe to use. Better safe than sorry. Vintage Art Nouveau Gooseneck Lily Pad Flower Lamp - Victorian
You are bidding on one beautiful art nouveau. Gooseneck lily pad flower lamp. This lamp is in very good shape and works well. I don't know the exact year of production. But in researching this piece, I've found it to be prominent in the 50's/60's. There are no manufacturer markings to aid me in further research. The lamp itself. I'm assuming, is bronze. It's in great shape with minor spots on the lily pad. There are two on the right side and a few dots scattered throughout. I guess that's pretty good for a lamp of this age. The lily pad shows the veins and is quite pretty. There is also a bud coming out of the pad and three unopened flowers. Any flaws are in the photographs so please look before bidding. The flower shade has a small spot where the metal spring clasps land on the inside. It is possible this can ... morebe removed but it does not deter from the beauty. The shade is white with the very slightest hint of pink. There are white markings cascading down the shade. The cord is not frayed and the on/off switch works well. This is an exquisite very ornate antique cast iron and brass victorian electric floor lamp. it is extremely ornate with an abundance of intricate detailing throughout. the lamp has two detailed cast iron arms holding a generic size bulb each. they are held by beautifully dripping candle shaped socket covers and have on/ off pull chains dangling. the cylinder shaped shafts are made from brass and have a very detailed roping design. also there are gorgeous. Large solid cast iron pieces located in the center and top of the shaft. the base is equally as ornate and also made from cast iron with very intense cut out detailing, it is also slightly footed. the top of the lamp is finished with a solid brass ornate finial and can hold a shade if desired. the lamp measures 59 1/2 inches tall by 10 inches wide. the lamp has a great patina from age and ... moreis in exquisite shape.
