VTG Gas Light Bracket Wall Lamp Swing Arm Converted Electric Victorian Art Deco
This a wonderful vintage brass gaslight that has been converted for electric use. This lamp is for wall mounting and features ornate double swing arms that extend to a full 22 1/2" The brass back plate measures 8" tall x 4 1/2" wide. The electric socket is marked Leviton, I did not find any other markings on this light. It is in working condition- just needs to be wired to your desired location. All appears to be in very good vintage condition, arms swing easily, there is some minor pitting in the brass back plate- please see all pictures. Perfect for any Victorian/ Art Deco/ Art Nouveau décor. Very lovely. Feel free to ask questions and thank you for your interest in my auction.

This is an antique oil converted Gone With The Wind lamp. At the top of the brass on the lamp is marked The Rochester. PAT D. FEB 28, 1905. The lamp is yellow and white with hand painted flower and house by the lake. The dark lines that connect the flowers like vines/tree limbs look like it could have been added later. You can see a little of the clear glue around the top of the brass. The clear glass chimney flute/shade is marked Aladin. And has a small chip at top as you will see in the pictures. It has a chip on the top that is hard too see but you can feel it. The Shark tooth Finial is 1 3/4 inches long. It has cool bubbles inside. It also has a tiny rough spot on the top. Beautiful vintage bedroom boudoir table lamp. It has a cream/beige colored background with hand painted assorted flowers. It has two handles painted with gold gilt and trimmed in gold also. The finial is made of cream bakelite. Also included is a hand made Victorian style lampshade of cream brocade and trimmed with braid and fringe of cream and orange sherbet. This lamp would be a great addition to your bedroom as a table lamp or for your make-up sitting table. The lamp has been tested and works. It measures 21 1/4 inches to top of finial; 14 inches diameter around largest part.

Colors remain bright with no fading, push button on/ off switch works perfect& sits perfectly level. Condition issues are as shown in the photo's, some loss of the gold trim, small chip right at the base. The electrical wire does have some tearing at the plug end. And can be used as it is, but the pull switch does show its age and signs of use. One of the chains is missing and the socket is loose. The electrical wire going into the lamp appears to have been replaced at some point. The new owner may want to have the electrical wiring and sockets checked/repaired or replaced. The slag glass in the six panels of the shade is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. Very nice blue. Pearl white and mauve colors show well, especially when the lamp is lit. It gives off a nice soft, warm glow. The metalwork on the panels is in good condition; it is very detailed and has no damage. One of the panels on the back of the lamp does show some discoloration. It has a pinkish purple tint on the metal. As can be seen in the photographs the metal is a bronze/gold color on the panels as well as the base) I did not know if it should be cleaned. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CUT GLASS LAMP BASE BOWL VASE JADITE IRON PARTS REPAIR
We are pleased to offer this very nice. OLD lamp base and body for parts or refurbish. The lamp, which needs wiring and a socket, features a large, gilt iron, footed base with ornate incised design. The iron also features a beautiful hammered pattern. The"feet" are in the shape/design of spades/clubs. Above the iron base is a gorgeous piece of old, black marble with pink veins. A small wooden spacer sits on top of the marble. The lamp body features 3 exceptional pieces of cut Victorian glass. There are 2 large bowls which fit together by inverting the top bowl. The bowls are deeply cut with very nice quality. There is a thumb print design with beading surround. A large sunburst/star design is featured on the lower section with a unique, diamond/hexagon cut pattern on the bottom. The third piece of glass is a large, fluted, cut glass ... morevase. It, too, is inverted to fit on top of the bowl section. All three glass pieces are beautiful. There is a small Jadeite bobeche which is used as a spacer on top of the vase. A piece of plastic, which is definitely not original, has been placed on top of the jadeite as a second spacer. The lamp is in good, antique condition. The gilt iron has a mostly aged patina. The glass has no chips, cracks, etc. It has been crudely cut to fit the center downrod. The cuts are not uniform so as to indicate hand cutting. The lamp would be gorgeous if it were restored. However, the pieces could also be used for other projects. GORGEOUS PIECES! The measurements are as follows: The lamp is 23" tall to the top of the downrod. The base is 8.5" across. And 10" diagonally from foot tip. The marble piece is 5" in diameter and 7/8" in thickness. The two bowls are 8.5" in diameter and 3" deep. The vase is 7.75" tall. One still containing its original screen(if rather tatty) One holder has a pull-out inner sleeve and has decorative embossing to the column. The iron base moulded with flourishes and gold highlights typical of the era, there is also a set screw in one foot to possible secure the item to a desk. This holder has an inner tube which lides out very smoothly and contains a folded fan-like silk screen, the screen is very tatty now and loose at the brass end-pieces but if you are careful ... moreit can be opened and placed into the holder at the top, the receiver moving left or right to suit. The other included in this listing has a screw off top(rather than a sleeve) and does not have a screen inside it anymore unfortunately. Unusual antique etched light shade with all over ornate floral. Leaf and vine pattern. Detailed acid etching. This Victorian era shade most likely dates to the 1870s to 1890s. About 3-3/4" tall. 4" fitter, and just about 7-5/8" wide at the top. In lovely condition for its age. It has a little slight roughness around the fitter, but no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. One area on the inside has some tiny texture bumps, almost like hairspray got on it. It is part of the glass, and not visible, but thought I'd mention it. It will be carefully packaged for shipping. Magnificent antique victorian table lamp early 20th c. This is an absolutely beautiful antique victorian table lamp which stands 18 inches high and 8 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a hubbell brass socket shell with a pull chain socket. The chain has a pretty glass pull on the end. The pierced brass shade ring is gorgeous. It's decorated with 30 strands of crystal lustres. The lustres have new brass bow tie pins added. The lamp has a golden bronze finish. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. UNUSUAL 19thC VICTORIAN TRAVELLING TRAVELLERS RAILWAY CARRIAGE CANDLE LAMP Description: You are bidding on a very interesting item. It is I believe a 19thC TRAVELLING or TRAVELLERS RAILWAY CARRIAGE CANDLE LAMP dating to around 1870/80 I would think. In the days before electric lighting was commonplace this enabled you to continue reading whilst travelling etc. There are NO maker's marks that I can find anywhere. I have seen several different designs/styles& some are even made in solid silver. This example is made from plated nickel I think(the reflector is silver on copper) The plating is in generally good condition although there is some wear& a little corrosion on one corner. Overall I would give it 7/10. PLEASE note the constituent parts as this is all that is there. I am not sure if it originally had foldable feet and a top ... morecap(I can't see any evidence of scratch marks so I suspect not) When extended the lamp is at an angle so I suspect the internal collar needs adjusting as the candle container is straight) I am not an expert on this type of thing& so your comments would be welcomed& added to the listing. It weighs approx 450g unpacked. It is approx 6" long when collapsed& 10 1/4" long max when fully extended. It would make a great gift or addition to your collection. Antique Victorian Mahogany Ornate 3 Tier Plant Stand Lamp Table Restored Circa 1910's Fantastic Antique Victorian Mahogany Ornate 3 Tier Plant Stand Lamp Table Restored This table was restored by the previous owner a couple of years ago. It is a lovely plant table made of mahogany wood. Carved sides and bow curved legs. There are two additional levels besides the top. The levels are attached by turned wood spindles. The top level has a beautiful beveled edge and the other two levels are carved with circle design pattern. I noticed that one leg is about 1/4" short and there is a hint of a wobble. I'm not sure if it is my tile flooring. But wanted to mention. A split in the wood is seen on one leg. The wood has been glued during the restoration and is standing strong. See noted picture on the right. Some slight wear to the wood ... morefinish but in overall very good condition. This table is unsigned. Carefully packaged for shipping.
