The font holder includes the numbers and letter“556A” on the bottom of it where it attaches. Incised on the underneath side of the top of the ornate table is the number”999“ The number“726” is incised on the underneath side of the bottom section of the table. This Lamp measures approximately 62" high to the top of the chimney in the lowest. Fully down position and an adjustable height extension to approximately 78-80"high. The table measures approximately 15” wide X 15” length and stands 31 1/4” high to the top of the marble not counting the brass tubing. One screw on the bottom section of the table. Is a replacement and would be an easy fix to replace. The chimney has a very tiny flea bite at the top. The ball shade may not be original to this lamp. It has several tiny flea bites along the edge of the base; where it sits in the fitter that are not noticeable when it is in place which is normal for these old lamp shades. 1880's-1900's Victorian Antique Oil Lamp This 1880's-1900's Victorian Antique Parlor Oil Lamp has been in my personal Antique Collection for over 40 years. This Victorian Oil Lamp is a beautiful work of art with spectacular ornate design and incredible hand craftsmanship. The Satin glass shade globe has a beautiful raised embossed grape design. The lamp oil reservoir with Burner assembly can be removed by lifting it out of the base of the lamp. There is a Full/Out indicator that works on a float valve system. The lamp is missing the glass chimney that is suppose to stick out about 2 inches above the shade. The chimney replacement is very cheap and can be bought at numerous locations. I have seen them in several places over the years for less than $10. This antique Victorian Parlor lamp stands 11 inches tall(without the shade ... moreon) and about 7 inches wide. I have tried to do justice to the color but it is more of a baby blue with the satin finish than a sky blue. Great detail on the top edge, two mold marks as you can see, and very clean on the inside. No chips or cracks or flakes, and, other than the rough edge as expected on the larger 3" opening at the bottom, the piece has no defects. This is a beautiful example of wonderful American glass work, from a world that is gone forever. Antique Cast Iron/Copper Victorian Wall Sconce Electrified Hurricane Oil Lamp
This lamp was found in an 1800's cottage on lake Ontario in New York with the beautiful globe seen in the photos! Beautiful ornate Victorian cast metal/copper swinging wall sconce. Marked Pat'd June7, 1887. The globe is a soft off white color with floral transfers and some hand painted additions. Simple clear glass oil lamp base-appears newer. Oil lamp in some of the photos has a filling cap- the one for sale is the same but does not have a filling cap. The lamp has long ago been electrified and will need rewiring to current standards. The wall mount/bracket plate is included with the lamp. Measurements: sconce is 12" from wall to exterior holder; The holder part for the oil lamp measures 5 1/2" diameter on each. Wonderful & Unique Victorian Stick & Ball Oak Lamp Table
I picked this up this last weekend from the historic( especially for clocks) Bristol Ct area and it is fresh from a very good estate. I have had a lot of lamp tables in the past but I honestly have never seen one quite like this. It has rope style stick legs with the wood ball at the bases but the great thing is they have never been repaired. The little skirt pcs I tried to picture on the four under sides add a great look as well. and the condition is perfect. No bowing. Cigarette burns just excellent condition and ready to look neat in your Victorian decor. I'm not the furniture brothers from Boston on the Roadshow or anything but I know good age and quality and would guess right around 1880's. It measures 30" tall and 24" wide on the round top, I truly think a perfect size and it is very sturdy with no wobble at all. Gorgeous antique victorian cherub table lamp early 1900s* This is a beautiful antique victorian table lamp which stands 17 inches tall and 7 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a pretty glass bead and orange crystal pull. The metal shade has raised filigree decoration which has some loose ends but its all intact. The shade is also decorated with 37 strands of crystal lustres which include clear and colored strands. Antique Victorian Late 1800's converted oil lamp. I'am changing the theme to the room that this was in. And can no longer use it. I bought this about 20 yrs. ago from a shop that restored old lamp's, and light fixtures. By restoring this, it has been clear coated I believe, so it would never need polishing. The year's I have had this, I have never had to do anything, but wipe it with a soft cloth. My starting bid is much lower than what I paid. This was converted to electric. Brass tank that has raised work on it. Cherub blowing a horn, that is removable. Don't know if this was the original horn or not, but appears to be, pointed at one end so it fits up to the mouth. The only part of the lamp that a magnet would stick to was the base. The shade is not original. It has color's of pink. Yellow, blue and green. Glass ... morechimney is not original. Cherub's body is approx. 8 1/2" tall. Overall lamp without the shade is 18 1/2" tall. With the shade it is 28" tall.Base is 5 1/2" Brass tank has 5 dents in the brass, 4 are very tiny and one I show in one of my pics, that is larger. On the underside there is a dent, and on the raised part there is a dent.There are some scratches on the upper part of the tank, that show dark under, don't know why since a magnet would not stick to the tank, see pic's. ANTIQUE SINGLE GLOBE WALL MOUNTED HANGING LAMP with CHAIN One large beautiful gold leaf frosted white globe. Gold. Pink and white flowers and leaves design. Approx. 11" in diameter And 19" from base to tip It looks like there might be something missing from the tip of the finial. Small gold sticker on lamp says: Base made in Germany Cast iron or brass overlaid cast iron fixture. Morton is stamped on the back of two of the pieces. A small piece is broken- but piece is not lost. Also looks like bottom of wall hanging cast bottom tip was broken off. The wall mounted piece is 21"long The chain extends 19" as measured from the top to the fixture The two pieces that are screwed together are a combined 15" long- I don't know how these fit into this lamp fixture- any ideas? ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HAND PAINTED FLORAL LAMP FIXTURE VINTAGE 1900'S OLD WORKS
Up for sale is an original and authentic antique ceiling lamp/fixture with a unique hand-painted floral design. This lamp was removed from a ~ 120 year old Victorian home during a remodeling project and stored until now. I am not an expert but would guess it is around 50-75 years old judging from the other fixtures in the house. This is a genuine vintage fixture and is not a reproduction though I suspect it was repainted at some point. The lamp worked at the time of removal and features two bulbs as shown. GOTHIC ARTS & CRAFTS VICTORIAN HANGING CHANDELIER GAS OIL LAMP SLAG GLASS SHADE
Here we have a very unique c. 1880's- 1905 era. ~ GOTHIC ARTS& CRAFTS HANGING CHANDELIER GAS LAMP ~. This wonderful antique gas chandelier is quite large measuring a total of about 49 inches long by 38 inches wide"to the outside of the two side globes" It has a fabulous look and is quite unique as you will see. This lamp was originally in a Historic Home in the Old West End of Toledo, Ohio. Those homes built in the late 1800's and early 1900's era had some of Toledo's most prominent residents at the turn of the last century. This 120 or so year old chandelier is pretty much in all original condition. It is still set up to operate on Gas" has the original fittings" but could certainly be electrified if desired. The over all condition is pretty decent. Two of the slag glass panes are a little different ... morein texture and color, so they may have been replaced over time. I also see that many of the little flat clamps to hold the slag glass panels are missing and black caulk was used to help secure the slag glass panels. You may want to remove the caulk and replace the little bending brackets like it was originally. I also see that the two side globes are not exactly matching, and although old shades, not original to the gas fixture. You could replace the side globes with any antique shade that has a 3 1/4" or so fitter. This unique Gothic Arts& Crafts chandelier would be the center piece to most any room in your home or business, you choose to display and use it in. Being sold as found so PLEASE FEEL FREE to email me for more pictures you may need or for questions you may have and I will be happy to help! Hello and thanks for viewing this auction. Fresh from a local estate is this hard to find Miniature"Firefly" Oil Lamp. This is a very cute little lamp which retains all of its original parts from the milk glass shade with no damage to the shade holder and original round wick burner. The wick seems to be too small as the wick riser does not seem to want to raise it up or down(loose) and the wick can be pulled up or down freely. This nice little lamp stands 3 3/4 inches tall to the top of the chimney and is 1 3/4 inches wide across the widest part of the oil font. Beautiful Elegant Antique Victorian Banquet Oil Lamp Base Hand Painted Violets The top 4 spoked part. Nut and rod are iron. This is a real nice all original old lamp part in excellent condition. It is 15 1/2" tall and the ornate cast base is 6 1/2" square. The milk glass vase is decorated with pretty hand painted violets with enameled accents. The base is patinated iron to look like brass. The other parts are brass. The patina on the metal is all original. All I did was use a soft paint brush to clean off some dust. There is no damage or faults that I can find. Yellow hue mantle lusters. With a row of 8 crystal prisms. They stand 12.5" tall at the widest point they measure 6" with the base measuring 5" One of the Lusters has 8 double hung crystals. Glass prisms. measuring 7" long and the other lamp has 8 crystals 4 being double measuring 7"long and 4 being single hung measuring 5.5" long The Mantle Lusters are top quality throughout featuring beautiful rich Gold Gilt 19th Century French designs. The Lustres also feature all of their original long and finely cut Glass Prisms. Which are in excellent condition for the age. Just a tiny flake or two to most. The glass is in superb condition: ... moreno chips. Nicks, or scratches are present. Its only flaws are in regard to the painted designs. Which have faded in some places. Not noticeable. Ultimately. The designs are still quite visible overall and they still display beautifully. I'm positive these are quite old and most likely made before 1900. 1890's VICTORIAN PHOENIX ART GLASS Co. PINK OPALESCENT HOBNAIL HANGING OIL LAMP
The item for bid is an Original Victorian Pink Opalescent Art Glass Hanging Lamp in the"HOBNAIL" pattern that was made by the Phoenix Art Glass Co. in the 1885-1900 time frame. The lamp has a chain and pulley mechanism to allow the lamp shade to be raised and lowered by pulling on the lower end cap finial. The lamp was originally a kerosene lamp. But was missing the kerosene fount when I purchase it, so I converted it to electric without damaging any of the pieces, which allows it to be easily converted back to kerosene by mounting a kerosene fount in the lower end cap, and removing the electrical socket& long mounting rod by loosing the nut on top of the ceiling cap. The simple conversion was done by mounting an electric socket at the end of a hollow decorative hexagon shape brass rod. Salvaged from an antique floor lamp, that ... moreis then attached to the ceiling cap. This eliminates the electrical wiring from interfering with the pull chain mechanism as it is passed thru the hollow tube to the ceiling cap. This allows the lamp shade to be raised by pulling on the lower end cap finial, which allows the rod to pass thru the shade giving access to the socket and bulb. Also, I used a socket with an on& off switch to allow the lamp to be controlled from either the lamp itself, or from an independent wall switch. The electrical wiring is in excellent condition and the lamp is ready to be mounted to an electrical box in the ceiling. The shade has excellent color. Clarity& pattern detail with the only visible defect being a 3/4" long shallow flake chip on the inner rim of the lower opening, which is hidden by the lower end cap(see photo) All of the brass metal pieces have wonderful patina, as does the metal chains& pulleys. It measures 34" long from the ceiling cap to the bottom end cap finial. The shade itself is 8-1/2" long by 7-1/2" diameter at the widest point.
