Vintage Victorian Oil Lamp Hand Painted Floral Stem 1870s Japanalia Inspired
Here's a vintage Victorian oil lamp. This lamp is a beautiful find from the Pennsylvania countryside. I am not sure the year this was made. But I was told the 1870s. I am no expert. The floral designs are hand painted. To me, the floral decoration appears to be Japanalia or Aesthetic Movement inspired. The flower resembles a branch of flowering quince. Notice the pattern to the glass part that holds the oil. The base is iron. I find no maker's marks. There is a tiny letter M on the bottom. I find no cracks or damage. There is a wee bit of rust on the base on the back of the base of the glass. See photos. This is not visible from the front view. I will leave it to the buyer to clean or remove, in order to avoid damage to this wonderful old lamp. Vintage Victorian Oil Lamp Composition & Hand Painted Blue Glass or Ceramic
This antique Victorian oil lamp was found in rural Pennsylvania. Look at those wonderful hand painted flowers! The blue part appears to be either ceramic or glass. I can't tell. The base and other parts are not metal. But some type of composition. The bottom is either a composition or perhaps gray slate stone. I don't know the year it was made, but was told the 1870s. I am no expert. The lamp is 13 inches tall to the tallest part, and the base is about 5 inches square. I find no damage other than the usual aging and use marks consistent with the age of the lamp. There is a flake on the underside of the base. See photos.

Antique Victorian Library Lamp Pull Down Frame Pear Shade Complete NICE Prisms
This is beautiful old lamp. It is all complete. The shade is in great shape. No chips or cracks. It measures 14 inches on the bottom diameter. The pull down part works well. The font is in good shape, too. The turner is marked Miller& co. There is no wick, and the top on the font filler has a hole, don't know if it is supposed to be that way or not. I would guess all the pieces to be original to the lamp. The shade paint is beautiful, has pears on both sides and is quite detailed. It has no missing prisms. It has not been electrified. Really fancy& lovely ornate raised relief designs of a Fleur-de-lis design at center. Many curled scrolls and vines(see pics) geometric designs, and flowers and lilies abound-all in raised& deep inset relief, there are also inset striated ray design on background with a hammered surface finish on background as well-it is very elaborate(see pics provided and close-ups) There is a copper color finish on surfaces of cast iron which makes it additionally pretty. I believe this was at one time a'Double' sconce holder-it has at one time I believe 2 round oil-lamp cast iron holders-it now has only one-please view pics of this feature ... moreprovided. Up for sale is a very beautiful small antique sterling silver oil lantern. It features an ornate body with scrolling floral designs. A removable fish motif lid, all resting on ornate fish or serpent design feet. The lamp is monogrammed on the bottom with what appears to be an"S" It is also clearly stamped"sterling" along with some hallmarks which are hard to read and as of yet unidentified. The overall length is approximately 3 inches with a height of about 3 inches. The original wick is still in place and doesn't appear to have been used. Brass and glass mounted hand held oil lamp, the glassflue above the burner, on a cylindrical reservoir with dished metal mirror plateabove, on an arched backplate.It is possible that this hand-held lamp was intended for use in mines but generally miners' lamps were more substantially built for arough life. It could alternatively have been intended for use on a railwayplatform, but generally speaking these lamps were made for general use, withno specific area of utility intended. They were very useful and relativelyinexpensive to make so many, many were produced, quite a lot of which stillsurvive, hence the fairly low auction starting price given here.

This is an exquisite high quality antique 19th century Victorian era oil burning lamp. it is a very large detailed lamp made from quality material. the base is made from a painted terra-cotta with a nice black gloss finish. the shaft is made from a ribbed brass with a wonderful patina from age. connected to the shaft is the extremely detailed iridescent glass oil globe. it has a nice stylized floral scene wrapping the side and is extremely raised. the iridescent finish leaves an abundance of rainbow colors. the burner is made from brass and is a wonderful dual burner, the large shade is equally as detailed and has a nice elongated design with a chimney flute shade set in the center. the oil lamp measures 28 3/4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide. the lamp is in great working shape. The pierced brass shade ring has a very pretty floral design and is decorated with 26 strands of crystal lustres. Up for auction is a wicked gothic victorian lamp! This lamp measures in at a little less than 59 inches and the ornate base has a width of 8.5 inches. This is one of the coolest lamps I have seen with a beautiful ornate base designed with a floral pattern and incredible hand made lamp shades. The shades are the coolest part to this lamp as it is most definitely from the arts and crafts period making it extremely collectible and valuable from the mid 1800's. You can see slight patina on this metal lamp and I chose not to clean the base or the rest of the lamp as you can see the cob webs and grit. Antique Victorian Kerosene Oil Lamp Hand Painted Composite Glass Cast Iron Base
Nice old oil lamp from the mid to late 1800s. There is one chip on the back(possibly done in manufacturing) and two lines in the white glass but otherwise looks very good and it has been tested and it works good and it does not leak. The burner works and turns freely and it is marked Eagle and the knob is marked P&A Mfg Co Waterbury Conn Made in U.S.A. The cast iron base measures 6 inches wide and the lamp is 13 inches high not including the chimney. Chimney is not the original but is included and is 10-1/4" high. It has no nicks, chips, or cracks. The nameplate says"SORTIE de I'ECOLE" which means"Out of school" then" Par Rousseau" 1-lamp of a boy under a street lamp carrying a basket.Books and drinking from a milk bottle. This lamp is missing the nameplate from the front. There is a stamp on the rear of the lamp posts that says"Paris. Stunning Figural Porcelain Lamp Possibly Made in Italy or France- No Markings- Apx. 14" tall to the socket top. No chips or repairs. Lamp is dingy due to it being from an estate of a 90 plus lady. This is a beautiful vintage curved slag glass lamp shade for a chandelier or table lamp. It's in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, or damage of any kind. The slag glass is in shades of green and carmel. There is lots of detailed metal beading surrounding the glass panels. It is 14 1/2" deep[crown is 4 1/2" crown to bottom edge is 10" The opening at the bottom is 19" wide and the top opening is 9 1/2" It's a beauty and the style is classic!
