Antique Victorian Era Gas Burner - Lamp - Heater - Stove
An unusual old hanging burner- lamp- heater- stove. The top round fuel tank is made of tin. The long arm is steel with brass fittings. The round container would hold gas. Kerosene or oil. Not sure which- It is 36" long. It has a patent date of the Jan. 1876. It appears to be in very good condition. We haven't tried it. And don't know if it works. There is a round hangar on the top back. It could be hung in different rooms in the house or moved and hung in the barn. It would have provided light and heat to warm something up. Old and original victorian era American lighting.

Excellent condition for it's age. Missing one brass prong on the shade holder. Which I am showing in a picture. Very light wear. Old bees wax candle still in it! The Hall Lamp would have originally had a glass Oil Lamp font inside. That is missing but the Estate had it wired for electricity many years ago. I was told they had it hanging and working in a past home but it is has been stored away for many years. The Lamp is very much more beautiful than my photos show, the Glass Shade goes from a deep Pink color at the top to a light blush Pink color at the bottom and features a unique Polk a dot pattern that I have not seen before. The Lamp is overall in very good condition, there is some minor rim chips that are covered by the fixture but no large chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. The bottom cap also shows a loss as seen in the photo but overall it displays beautifully. The pottery base has an attractive transfer and hand decorated pattern of oranges and flowers. The pottery body is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Some wear to the gilding but the decoration is intact. The black ceramic foot appears to be in good condition with no chips and the brass is free from splits or dents. A stunning and beautiful 19th century Antique Victorian Parlor Oil Lamp with Green Cased Glass shade. The lamp is original oil. The impressive base features applied bow and wreath decorations. The base and spill ring are solid brass with lovely detail filigree. The lamp sits very firmly and solidy. The lamp appears to be a Bradley& Hubbard. Though I am not certain. The base is in wonderful condition. The rich forest evergreen cased glass shade is in nice condition. One tiny flea bite. Less than a 1/16” at the top. and a few areas of paint along the bottom, which is not visible when it is sitting on the tripod mount. The font tank has a couple small indents and some creases. Amazing antique victorian era cherub table lamp early 1900s* This gorgeous antique table lamp stands 17 inches high and is 7 inches wide at the base. The lamp has a gold finish and features a stunning open work base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket with a pretty blue and green glass bead pull. The fancy pierced brass floral shade ring is decorated with 31 strands of old fire polished crystal lustres. I put new brass bow tie pins on the crystals. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. Hello and thanks for looking. What I have today is a Stunning Victorian Antique Hanging Oil Lamp- Floral Shade. Complete w/ Prisms. Honestly I know nothing about this type of item so I have compensated by taking a lot of photographs. I can tell you this is a family heirloom and hung above the same table for over 50 years(see Thanksgiving pic 10 years ago) And had already been a family heirloom when it arrived in its new home. The fittings are all brass as far as I can tell and the painted shade shows no cracks or chips that I have found. I have not attempted to clean it beyond wiping dust off as I am fully aware of how much damage someone without the necessary skills can cause. The shade of the lamp measures about 13 and 3/4 inches at its base and approximately 6 and a half inches high. The main body of the assembled lamp measures approximately ... more18 inches(excluding chains) Included in the sale is the ceiling fitting that the chain hang from. Fantastic Antique Industrial Work Light Early 1900s Wall-mount industrial work light with normal wear from age and use. Overall very good. Working condition. There is some surface rust on certain parts. The Cage and socket are old. But not original. The arm and micro adjust knob and l-rod are original and work as a unit, providing for very precise positioning. This is heavy duty. The cloth cord is old, but not original and in good shape. It should be inspected and/or replaced before use and was with the light when we got it. The black paint and pin striping on the iron bracket are original. Bulb not included. Antique Victorian Aladdins Lamp Cigar Lighter COMPLETE Figural Northwind Face
A Scarce Antique Victorian Cigar Lighter in Very Nice Condition This piece was recently acquired from an estate in Upstate NY This 19th Century Cigar lighter is crafted of a non-ferrous metal(Most likely spelter with a brass finish) It is quite ornate with assorted swirls and florals etc around the entire body. It has a large swirled handle at one end. Under the handle is a Man's face with the handle rising from the man's hair. Overall it is formed as an"Aladdin's" lamp or an oil lamp of middle eastern origin. The lighters themselves protrude from the top of the lap on both the left and right side of the center cap as well as from the center of the cap. The spout also has a removeable decorative cap but no lighting rod. The center cap is hinged and lifts to reveal the inside of the unit. This measures approximately 4 ... more1/4' high to the top of the handle and is approximately 6" long from handle to spout. There are no dents. Breaks or losses that I can see. The finish is old and patinated with a bit of verde gris. and plenty of dust to attest to its age. The top does lean very, very, slightly to one side. The top is held to the base by means of a bolt and I believe the bolt may have a bend in it that needs to be straightened. This is a very, very slight list to one side and not a horrible problem. The[bowl] part that holds the oil lamp has some minor rust(pic. 9) and measures apx. 4 1/2" in diameter and the overall length is about 10 1/4" The mounting bracket has been fitted with a block of wood. Possibly for added support. low minimum bid!
