Antique Victorian 1870 Lomax EAPG White Flame Finger Oil Kerosene Lamp Sun Purpl
~ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 1870 LOMAX WHITE FLAME EAPG FINGER OIL KEROSENE LAMP SUN PURPLE~ Up for bid is an uncommon 1870 unmarked Lomax Early American Pressed Glass Base and an unmarked White Flame burner and Rose color acid etched White Flame Chimney. George Henry Lomax of Somerville. Massachusetts patented the oil guard lamp on September 20, 1870. The Lomax lamps feature a flange at the top of the font to prevent excess oil spilling over the outside of the lamp. Several different varieties of the Lomax lamp were produced. The company dissolved around 1910. The White Flame Light Co. Was started in the 1850s and lasted until around 1912. The lamp is 13 ¾ inches tall with the chimney and 7 inches without. The base bottom and top rim is almost 4 inches in diameter, has a threaded brass collar and is 6 inches tall. The glass does have a Purple ... moretinge to it and is stamped PAT’D Sep. 20, 1870. There are no cracks or breaks to the glass. There are Manufacturing Defects such as: air bubbles, bubble bursts, straw marks, swirl marks, high seams, and a couple of tiny flea bites and a tiny chip on the bottom of the base from breaking the piece from the mold. These were common defects from the glass making process of the era. The Brass burner has a nice aged look to it and wick adjuster moves up and down properly. The chimney is 7 ¾ inches tall, has a bottom diameter, and a 1 5/8 diameter top. The official White Flame Logo is on the chimney. There is a Pink or Red hue to the glass which is quite unusual. There are no cracks, chips, or breaks. There are a few very light surface scratches from use and slight roughness on the bottom. The lamp does glow under a black light. The overall condition of this antique piece is excellent considering its age and usage. This is a very uncommon lamp that would make a nice addition to anyone’s collection. Please READ our Feed Back! I believe this to be a reproduction Victorian style brass stable lamp. It is glazed on three sides and has a flat back for mounting on a wall. It takes a bayonet style bulb and the'candle' is plastic. It is wired but I must stress that this has not been tested by an electrician. This is a very attractive light and in nice condition. It measures 12 inches high and 7.5 inches wide.

Don’t see a maker’s name anywhere and can’t find out anything on this. The closest I came was a Ruth carnival glass parlor ashtray that looked to be in a similar etched-tube style. The base of this lamp is an ashtray. One person thought it was homemade. I would guess it is a factory lamp. As the pieces all fit so well, like it was a well thought-out design(but the base isn’t wide enough, so they used an upside down ashtray. I guess it’s possible this was a carnival give away(carnival glass) The lamp is 20” tall to the socket base. The ashtray. Red bulb and clear tube are deeply-etched glass with a floral motif(another reason I don’t think an individual did this at home) It doesn’t have a lampshade. Victorian CHERUB CRANBERRY Gas Lamp Shade(2) Glass Light Acid Cut 1880's Floral This is a wonderful pair of antique 1800's gas light shades featuring a deep acid cut-back pattern of cherubs. Urns, fruits and florals. The shades have a deeply tucked waisted body. With a scalloped/ruffled rim. Just wonderful! Approx. measurements are 5 5/8" tall by approx. 8 1/2" in diameter. At top. Fits a standard 4" fitter. One shade has a flake/chip to inside at rim. Cannot be felt on outside. The one double picture shows the chip from the inside and from the outside. Actually looks very much like an air bubble in the glass. From the outside. The other shade has a small rough place to top rim which is a pipped air bubble. This is very minor. It also has a chip to bottom edge that fits into fitter. Very common to this type shade. Both ... morehave some roughness to the scalloped top edge from the making/flashing. Even with these flaws, they are an amazing set of shades and so very rare to find a matching pair. After extensive searching online. I found one shade like these. It was part of a set of 4, each with a different color on top. The set of 4 was priced more than 3 times what I am asking. And even then, there was not a matching set of same color. Really an amazing pair of shades. Vintage items are a piece of history and always in style. Offering styles and construction that cannot be duplicated today. This handmade clear glass oil lamp chimney is about 7 1/2 inches tall and 2 7/16 at the base. It is in excellent condition. There are a few minor flea bites at the base. The decoration at the top is obviously done by hand. There are a few imperfections that add to its character: 1) the top is slightly uneven and 2) the chimney is not perfectly round. Large spiral turned legs that sit on bronze talon feet with wood balls and a great set of bronze winged Griffins supporting the bottom shelf. It measures 28" square x 28 1/2" high and the bottom tier is 16" square. We have left the table just as found. This is a really nice Victorian/Downton Abbey-style floor lamp. It measures 66" tall from bottom base to top of shade. The shade measures 24" top to bottom. And 72" around at the largest part. It is silk with silk brocade fringe. It looks cream colored in the photos but there is actually a pink hue to it. Midway up the stand is a 15" around glass piece wrapped around the pole, which is referred to as a smoking stand. The cord at the bottom is original and has been protected by a metal cord. Large Antique Victorian Early GORHAM #10 Store Display Lamp Unusual Figural 19th
Very Early& Interesting Antique GORHAM Metal Store Display. Marked in several places GORHAM 010 with the Anchor. There are 4 pole arms- two are longer going in the direction of the oval base lengthwise and two are shorter matching the width of the base. From tip to tip on the longer ones is 14 inches. Shorter side: 11 inches. The arms are rounded"poles" with ball like caps. Additionally. Two figures(unsure whether they be male or female) adorn each side of the arched stem- which is also very heavily decorated with scale like designs. A small hook piece is in between which could hold crystal drops. The curved stem is almost 9 inches. This does not include the base or the top portion that has the arms. The Oval shape base- length 8 inches. Width approx. 6 inches. There are 4 square feet which have flower disks around them and ... morealso could use some felt padding for even distribution of weight. The bottom base has a Victorian etched design. The top part of piece has a threaded stem which seems to be the size that most(lamp) finials could fit. Unsure of metal- perhaps it is brass- unsure) which is plated and shows some wear in places. Total height of Display is 16.5 inches. Condition is good- meaning no dings or dents noted. Antique Victorian Cranberry Glass Bell Shaped Gas Or Oil Lamp Light Shade Here's a hand blown cranberry glass lamp shade dating to the 19th century. The shade stands 13 cms tall and measures 12 cms in diameter at the widest point. The hole in the top has a diameter of 2 cms. The shade is in excellent original condition. There is a rough finish around the rim of the hole for the light and a couple of very small chips as pictured. This is I believe where the shade was cut away from the blowers rod.

Vintage Antique Victorian Strawberry Milk Glass Miniature Finger Oil Lamp
We have for sale a old painted Victorian milk glass embossed strawberry miniature finger oil lamp with a ruffled top embossed fruit chimney. Most of the paint is worn off and it would not take much to remove the rest. The oil lamp is embossed with a vine of strawberries and leaves. It is stamped made in Hong Kong on the base. The opalescent milk glass shade is also embossed on one side with a bunch of berries and vine. The burner is marked Hong Kong. The shade has some minor roughness where it slips into the burner. The lamp is about 5.5" tall to the tip of the wick, about 9 1/4" tall with the shade on.

Antique Cranberry Hanging Oil Lamp Victorian Brass Queen Anne Estate Find This lamp is directly from a local estate that had accumulation from the 1800s which had been passed down in the family. The main shade was not found with the lamp. However it seems as though all the parts are there. The burner is marked Queen Anne, otherwise no other markings. Cranberry glass is in excellent condition. The brass does have some oxidation, but nothing horrible. Chain still good and functions properly. There is a weighted mechanism with a heavy iron weight in the center. The ball can be pulled up or down to allow for lighting the lamp. The weight is not included.
