MAGNIFICENT ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BRASS CHERUB TABLE LAMP W/LUSTRES c1920
Magnificent antique victorian brass cherub table lamp c. 1920* The lamp stands 17 inches high to the top of the finial and is 7 inches wide at the base. The lamp has been rewired and has a brass pull chain socket and has a fancy cut glass and bead chain pull. The extremely pretty pierced brass shade ring is adorned with 34 strands of crystal lustres. These lustres are old fire polished crystals. I put new brass bow tie connector pins on the crystals. The details on this lampb are gorgeous. The main column is beautiful satiny twisted brass. I used a short round standard watt light bulb in this lamp which doesn't extend down beyond where the crystals end. These decorator bulbs can be found in any home center or home depot. Victorian Cut-Glass Football Oil Lamp Shade.
This is a cut-glass shade of the highest quality. It has a nice variety of cutting as you can see from the pictures. The trellis cutting is different from the ordinary. In that you have alternate wide and narrow cutting, something that you would not normally see in cutting of this type. There are imperfections her and there in the shade, like air bubbles, which is quite common in vintage glass. One area in particular has a small cluster of tiny bubbles, and it's in this area that you have an inclusion of what appears to be a little bit of grit. All of this occurred during the manufacturing process. The skilled craftsman wouldn't have been too concerned about these inclusions. He had enough to contend with as he set about on his laborious, not to mention painstaking job of hand cutting the glass sphere into a work of art. Many of these ... moretype of shades were smashed because of the thickness of the glass used, and had to be discarded, some probably at a point of near completion. Dimensions: 7 1/2" wide. 6 3/4" in height, 3" top opening and a standard 4" bottom gallery rim. Both rims are fire-polished, a skill in it's own right by all accounts, and a sign of quality. Condition: Excellent condition with inclusions as already mentioned. No cracks or chips. The shade will be double boxed for extra safety. Postage: To the Rep of Irl and N/Irl- 12.50 Euro. Vintage GOTHIC VICTORIAN 5 Panel Ceiling Light Fixture Cast Metal Glass Lamp
Ornate 5 panel glass ceiling fixture This is a very ornate light fixture in cast metal with five panels of textured amber glass. This has a nice victorian or gothic antique look to it and was made sometime from the late 1950's to 1970's. The fixture is marked GIM 3054. This is a solid piece with thick arch shaped glass inserts which slide in from the top. The ceiling cap is attached with a chain link. This light would work well indoors or out. It was previously used as a porch light. I spent a considerable amount of time hand cleaning each piece of glass and brushing off and cleaning the fixture. This will need to hard wired and I recommend replacing the socket as well. I have not found any damage other than age wear to the body of the fixture. The socket has some damage around the surround. There are some minor chips to the glass ... morepanels that are hidden when they are in place in the fixture. You can see the significant chips in the photos. Other than what is pictured. There is just a little roughness along the edges of the glass. Take a look at the photos provided and let me know if you have any questions. Each framed panel is about 5" wide. The fixture measures 16" tall to the top of the ring that connects to the chain link. The ceiling cap is about 5.25" in diameter. Please take a look at all shipping methods available. The church was organized in 1891. And I am thinking that this globe belonged to one of their earliest lighting fixtures. Aladdin Lamp Co. was one of the largest makers of lamps at that time.possibly this is Aladdin? It is in absolutely AMAZING condition; no breaks, cracks, chips. Only a very few, very minute/superficial fleabites at fitter end and what looks like tiny, bubble marks at upper end. I have included ten(10) pictures for you to examine. The base rim is very ornate. There are four goat heads and hooves at corners& gorgeous chased designs between. The curved flat base under the statue is metal with black finish at top, marbleized burgundy red at sides. The cherub statue is simply fantastic, they are chubby with beautiful faces, curly hairs. Early 1900's Victorian Glass Chamber Oil Lamp- Made by AB Company This Early 1900's Victorian Chamber Oil Lamp- made by AB Company has been in my personal antique Victorian Collection for over 35 years. It has the AB Company marking on the flame adjuster dial. It is in excellent shape with no chips. No scratches and no cracks- but is missing the glass Chimney and one of the brass clasps(there are 4) that holds the glass chimney in place came off. The brass clasp that came off is inside the glass lamp where the wick is stored. This is a charming chamber lantern that has a little glass handle that makes it a great mobile chamber lamp. This would make a great addition to your vintage or antique Victorian collections or displays.

Antique Converted Kerosene to Electric Lamp Tall-Heavy-Telescoping Victorian-Old
This is a rare beauty of an old Victorian Oil Floor Lamp that was converted to an electrical fixture. It stands 5 feet high to the top of the bulb and can telescope out to 6 feet. The rod extends up and his held by friction. You can see that this lamp weighs almost 20 pounds. Is built of brass, and has a sturdy triangular footed base. The words"English Make" are on the 2 dials that would have raised the wick and controlled the oil flow. Most of the patina is present, but as you know, this lamp could be transformed if you wished to change the look. The last photo shows the lamp at full height. If you wish to pick up the lamp.
