This listing is for a DeGrazia girl with peace dove. The girl and dove are in bas relief on what I think is a clay tile. The tile is about 4 x 6 1/2 inches and signed DeGrazia. The tile was mounted on a wood plaque that is about 5 1/4 x 7 3/4 inches with a metal hanging hook on the back. This is a nice piece in good condition. Shipping is based on the distance to be sent.

Antique Oak Hall Tree Blue Woflhound Borzoi Tile Mirror Glove Box Drip Pans
Late aesthetic style oak hall tree. Measures 74" tall. 30" wide, 12" deep. Beveled mirror measures about 7"x10" Embellished with two blue ceramic tiles featuring a dog's head, perhaps a wolfhound. These are quite lovely, and in excellent condition. Unfortunately their backs are securely covered with wood, so unable to determine markings, if any. Measure about 7.5" square. Overall in very good condition, sturdy and firm. May have been stained with a darker stain at one time, for there are some nicks and missing bits on a few of the spindles, and the wood does not show as raw. There are some flaws. There is a crack in the bottom of the glove box; this does not show of course. The bottom shelf holding the drip pans has been replaced, and not with oak, but with something that appears to be walnut. It has been ... morestained to match, and is not terribly obtrusive, but it definitely is not original. The drip pans themselves each have a hole or two in them, could be repaired of course. On auction today is. One 3x3 antique Victorian Era tile. This tile is of a floral print and is from circa 1887. It is a beautiful color and very rare from the company called Beaver Falls Art Tile Company in Beaver Falls. PA. A little history of this tile and how I acquired it. Well it was a Saturday afternoon and my husband and I were traveling through Connecticut. We saw signs for a barn sale and followed them through the back roads of Connecticut. We finally arrived at this barn filled with 3 generations of antiques. The owner was moving to a retirement home and he was about 80 years old sitting in a chair and told us to come in and look around. So we did. The floor of this barn was not very sturdy and we had to be very careful where we stepped. We found a lot of items but in the corner of this barn, in a back room there was this box. Tops washed and inspected for chips and firing imperfections. There are some with a little dirt or discoloration on the sides or back from the cardboard but no damage to the front.no scratches or chips. Pictures were taken in natural outdoor light. Up for auction is a very nice vintage wall tile made by Mira Jedwabnik. This piece is steel plate with hand painted enamel on it. The plate is mounted on wood and can be hung for decoration. The tile measures 9" tall by 6" wide. The enamel is in great condition with no chips or cracks. Mira Jedwabnik Van Doren. Founder of The Vilna Project, was born in Wilno, Poland(now Vilnius, Lithuania) in 1929 to Dr. David Jedwabnik, a noted doctor, and Lydia Baruchson Jedwabnik, a gifted artist. Six days before Hitler marched into Poland(September 1, 1939) 10-year-old Mira sailed with her parents to the United States to visit the New York World's Fair. Item Photos, Hello and welcome to the auction and thank you for viewing.This is for an unusual item which is an original commemorative tile which I purchased many years ago from Mr.Alex Behrendt of the Two Lakes Fishery near Romsey.This well made tile with the text Two Lakes Trout Fishery.Romsey,Hampshire is undated and measures approximately 6 inches square and slightly under 5 mm.thick.It weighs approximately 230 grams unpacked.The central design incorporates a an angler playing a hooked,leaping trout.The back of the tile has original marks including H& R Johnson Ltd.Cristal,Made in England and the stamp of Terence Doolan Ceramic Designs.Mr.Behrendt held annual fishery management courses,conferences at Two Lakes and had commemorative tiles produced for some or all the conferences as gifts for the attendees who came from different countries.I ... moream not sure what this tile was for.It was possibly commissioned simply as gifts for friends and visitors.Please also see the other listed commemorative tiles from Two Lakes.Should you purchase more than one of these tiles the UK delivery cost stays the same if the purchases are all combined. Arts and Crafts Eucalyptus tile hand made matte green glaze mission
Up for sale is a beautiful. Hand made Arts and Crafts style Eucalyptus tile. Eucalyptus was a favorite motif of several California-affiliated Arts and Crafts artisans, including the Whiteheads and Wesley Trippett. The tile measures a large 4.5" x 8" by 1" I hand press a few of these tiles from a mold of a hand-carved original, and usually 25 or fewer can be made from a mold before it wears out. I then hand carve any unclear details on the molded tile. These tiles are a lot of hand work, so it is very much in the A&C tradition! The tiles are NOT perfectly flat, as they are hand-pressed into the mold, and have some natural warping. In this tile, this is not a defect like it would be in a mass-produced tile. There is a place to attach directly to the wall on the back, or the tile can be framed. The glaze is a matte glaze called"bronze ... moregreen" with great dark undertones. I am only going to make a handful of these. And only 1 or 2 will be sold before Christmas! Already made, so there is no wait time.
