It is in very good condition with several areas that I think are from the original making where the brown color didn’t cover. One on the handle and rim and two on the pot(see photos) very few scratches and over all very nice condition. The piece measures approximately 5 3/4 T x 8 ½” W including handles. There is a area on the interior that looks like a crack but you can not feel it, nor does it go through. A perfect size for putting utensils in with the larger mouth on the top. I am unfamiliar with silver. Glass and coins but purchased a lot where an antique store had closed and the items had been stored for 12 years. Please forgive my lack of knowledge and ask questions and I will try my best to answer. I am sure that there are great pieces that I will be listing and probably will not describe as well as someone with more knowledge would. Base 11" in diameter. Floral decoration is about 5" wide X 6" tall. The blue floral decoration has dots and circles. Condition: This crock is being sold AS IS. This is a solid crock but it has issues. Large Blue decoration has excellent dark cobalt blue color but has a chip at the top branch. Shown in picture 2. There is a large chip at the rim above the ear handle, picture 8. The same ear handle has a chip underneath the handle, shown in the same picture. On the outside, there is a spider hairline that starts on the bottom and runs up the side, see close-up picture in picture 5, 10& 11. I would not trust this crock to hold water. There is one small chip in the dark brown glaze on the inside, last picture. Picture 5 shows a raised dark spot on the outside which appears to be from the manufacturing process. See all pictures. The large blue flower decoration has excellent dark cobalt blue color. This collectible crock is great to use in a decorative decor. Please check out my other auctions for more vintage items.

ANTIQUE SALT BOX CROCK BLUE GLAZE STONEWARE EMBOSSED DAISIES
Salt cellar or salt box or salt crock. Light(almost white) and dark blue coloring. In great condition– a couple flea bites of glaze missing in the front and a little wear near the back where the lid would have grazed it. Very light crazing that would be considered normal. Has a box/ criss-cross pattern on the body and daisies on either side of the word“SALT” and on the back flanks. Other minor imperfections as would be expected in a utilitarian piece. Measures 5 7/8” D and just over 4” H in the front. Just under 6” H at the back. I can’t tell if that is maker’s mark on the bottom but gave a close up just in case it is. Questions. Please ask. Has two small ¼ in. chips in outside of top rim, and another small chip on the edge of the bottom. There is three areas where the glazing is rough, one on the top that resembles a hole, two more on the bottom, all are just flaws in the glazing. The top edge of the crock iis unglazed. It measures 7" tall with a diameter of 7" at the top and 5-1/4" at the bottom. It features: a nice variable gray salt glaze on the exterior Albany glaze on the interior a 1/2' extended deep rim potter's finger grooves visible inside incised decoration just below the rim The crock is in very good condition with no cracks. This vintage Robinson Ransbottom stoneware crock is in great shape and ready to be put to use in your kitchen. Or just look nice on the shelf! The spongeware wheat design gives the crock a real clean look that would match any kitchen decor. The 1 3/4 quart size makes it big enough to be useful but small enough to display easily. A very fine 3Gal. Storage Crock or Jar from Fort Edward NY. Ca.1870. The impressed stamp on the shoulder is Cobalt-Washed and reads: Haxstun, Ottman& Co. Fort Edward NY and a number 3 representing 3 gallons.This is the mark used from 1867-1872. The decoration. A prolific Cobalt Floral Bouquet, covers the entire front of the piece. It is very bold, impressive and will not disappoint. Two firmly applied Lug Handles, and rich, brown Albany Slip interior, some minor discoloration on body, and a few small nicks, one on the left handle, one bottom left side others interior lip, there is a hairline from back side of left handle to bottom with a stain at end otherwise excellent and no repairs. This is a matching pair of beautiful vintage Western Stoneware Co. No. 4 crocks. They measure 7-1/2" high and 5-1/2" diameter. There is no damage to these crocks. They just show natural signs of aging. I am not sure if these crocks had a rubber seal or not, but they lock tight with the WEIR SEAL. If they need a seal it looks like one from a large mason jar might fit.

The original lid is missing and has been replaced by a wood lid. The crock has crazing lines, and surface wear in the brown band. The stoneware is in good condition. There are some very tiny areas of wear in glaze, miniscule chips on inside rim, see pics. There is some variation in the coloration of the glaze. It was likely made in Southwestern Pennsylvania, probably at either New Geneva or Greensboro. Dating about 1880, this beauty features the Company Name and Address Positioned so that a Paper Label could be Added in the Middle. Stands 10" tall X 5.25" at the top X 6.75" at the base. Antique Monarch Therm-A-Jug Hot Cold 1 Gallon Stoneware Crock Inside
Monarch Cool Jug Antique with Stoneware Crock inside. As far as I can tell. This was produced before the merger of the Monarch Company with Knapp Manufacturing out of St. Louis, MO in 1929, but the manufacture of these jugs was started in 1918. I believe it is before the merger because Belleville, IL is stated as the city of manufacture. I am happy to be corrected by anyone who would know more than I about these products. The rubber gasket for this is hard and in the shape that is shown in the photo. I did not try to unbend it. But it seems to be the original gasket. This is heavy at over 21 pounds. I am sending it Regional Rate C and so delivery timeframe will be longer than 2-3 days. When I put in a CA shipping rate. Offered here is a vintage stoneware lid for a butter churn. Item measures about 9" in diameter. Hole in center measures about 1-1/4" in diameter. There's an old chip to the center hole- but it is smoothed over. Otherwise good condition with just a couple minor nicks to the edge. This jug spent the last 50 + years in the bottom of an out house on Jefferson street. Jefferson street is where the Pfortner grocery store was located. There is a lot of glaze pops but it is structurally sound. I had it in my collection for a while now and i need to make room. yes it is rough and it appears to have glue marks.
