Old-century detail not found in new reproductions. It appears to be original other than wiring or perhaps the center post piece may or may not be original. I cannot find any cracks, splits or chips. Please look at all the photos. They are high definition. I did not change anything and leave those choices to the new Buyer. I do not often see items with the original base not tampered with. The finial may have been changed, I cannot tell. It seems as if the lamp had been stored away unused for quite some time. Antique Victorian Spelter/Gold Gilt Don Ceasar Statue -Tall/Heavy -c 1900
For your consideration is a Large Victorian Statue of Don Cesar(c1900) He has been re-issued a wooden sword which seems to suit him fine. His sword sheath is original and intact. Don's name is missing from the base but he is very confident in himself and it poses no threat to his identity. The base measures 8" by 5" and Don's total height is nearly 22" He weighs in at 13.5 pounds. The detail to his facial features. His clothing, his robust"girth" and even the spur on his boot is very precise. I imagine the gold gilding is rather old as there is a warm patina(and dust) within the crevices and folds. He isn't comfortable in Michigan's surroundings and is hoping for a town with a lot of action.where his presence is known by all the single ladies in town. The construction of this clock case looks like a picture frame, it has one leg to support the clock to stand well. The clock case is 8-1/4"H x 7-1/2"W x 3"Deep. The case fits the the movement maximum 2-1/8"D and minimum 2-1/16"D. x 1-1/2"Thickness(maximum) The case is 1 lb 10 oz. unpacked. No marks and the age unknown.

Antique French Japy Freres Spelter Gilt Marble Mantle clock Bell strike VGC
Very nice condition Antique Japy Freres mantle clock in running condition. Clock movement has been cleaned and oiled and runs well. Movement is stamped with the Japy Freres emblem. But not one of the medallions, had too do some research too find this emblem. Clock strikes with a crisp bell on the half hour and at the top of the hour, counting the amount of hours. Clock was missing suspension spring and pendulum, and strike was not working when i found it. Replaced the suspension spring. Pendulum is a new piece with a small modification too the hook to make it fit. Strike catch spring was off a bit, but adjusted and clock strikes properly. Nice looking ornate spelter image of a lady with a bird cage along a fence. with marble accents. Gilt surface does have some slight tarnish, i have not cleaned the clock too brighten up the finish, i leave ... morethis too new owner. Porcelain dial is in great shape with no chips or cracks. Clock measures 15 7/8th inches tall, 12 1/2 inches wide, 5 3/4inches deep at the base. As with any clock going through the mail, this clock might require some adjustment after shipping. I have noticed it is a bit sensitive too being moved around, and i have to adjust the clock into beat whenever i do move it. Hello. You are viewing my auction for an Antique Cast Metal Horse. This horse weighs 10.8 pounds. It is very heavy for its size which measures 17" long by 4 and 3/4" wide by 7 and 1/4" tall. Is it made from Spelter or Bronze? I am unsure of the exact metal that it is made from. There are sections towards the back that have a green tarnish color to the metal. It should be noted that the horse has both of its rear legs broken off. I have shown photographs of this. The horse still can still sit upright with the broken legs. There are no other breaks or repairs present. There is wear present throughout. This is a lovely item that is a must for any serious horse collector. Art Nouveau Gold Toned Spelter, Footed Jewelry Casket w/ Lining - 51
This is the sale of an early 1900's. Art Nouveau styled Footed Jewelry Casket that has the number 51 on the underside. It is made out of either zinc(spelter) or lead alloy. It is decorated with roses and has a beautiful gold tone coating that is revealing a nice patina. The inside has a lovely blue satin on the top and bottom of the casket and is lined with a twisted satin cord. Cosmetically it shows some surface and age wear. The liner is completely loose on the top and bottom(meaning you can pull it all the way out) It shows tears and fraying and is kind of a mess but it is still available with the sale. With some right placement of the liner you can get it to look presentable. It is possible that you could secure it somehow. This piece is nearly a 100 years old and definitely amazing.
