Antique Pittsburgh Lamp made c. 1920s. The lamp is about 21 inches high x 14 inches wide. Base is 8 inches wide at the bottom. The shade is reverse painted and the Chipped Ice type of shade which measures 14 inches in diameter. Bronze base is marked PLB&G Co 2047 and has the same on the wing nuts on the harp. Missing the top crown that holds shade on. Otherwise rests quite securely on base. Reverse painted forest scene. Small chip on shade where it rests on base no others. New modern style socket.

Pittsburgh Table Lamp, Reverse-painted Gold Sun Landscape Shade, dated 1909,1911
I'm pleased to offer this antique Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass, and Glass co. PLBG) reverse painted landscape lamp in near-fine original condition. Great, rare combination of attributes: Style, maker mark, and date. The shade features a nostalgic western mountain image painted in an Arts and Crafts style. Seems to be an autumn scene. With golden sun and rather barren fields between scattered pines and oak. The shade profile is tent-like, with a somewhat vertical panel under a rounded canopy dome. The sockets are dated 1909(Franklin? And one of the pull chain finials is dated 1911. The base has an underside cast embossing that identifies the maker as PLBG(Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass, and Glass Co) model number 1806. Dimensions are as follows: shade diameter: 16-1/2" shade height: 7-1/2" shade mounting hole diameter: 3-3/8" Base height: ... more18-1/2" Total height(to finial) 20" Base diameter: 7-5/8" The pull-chains are 8 and 8-1/2" long. One has a saturn form. And the other is ball-shaped(and has the 1911 patent date) Probably, one of the original switches failed and was replaced with a good switch from the same era. Condition is rare. The paint on the base appears to be original. And the patina on the sockets and pull-chains is deep and even. The silk-wrapped cord is almost certainly a contemporary(and attractive) replacement, but the finely ribbed plug body might be original. See the many pictures below for a thorough depiction of the condition. The shade has some flaking at the edges plus a few very small chips(1/8" or less) The shade top is ground and appears to be undamaged. The paint is entirely solid. With no flaking or crazing. There are some pliers marks on the shade finial. The shade has a few scratches and scuffs. But they disappear when the lamp is turned on. See the pictures below. It works. And the low-watt bulbs will be included. These have been essential to the shade's preservation. Apparently, no previous owner has made the mistake of trying to make the lamp brighter(

The wick is 3/4 inches wide and looks to be very old. The brass and glass shows no signs of cracks. The lamp is in very good condition for being over 100 years old. Rare Handel lamp base with three original Hubbell sockets and acorn pulls. Original heat cap shade rest and finial. Normal signs of use for its age, great patina matches on all parts. Fully functional and tested at time of listing. Threaded rod of finial is slightly off center with a solder patch and original cord has been pieced with cloth covered cord(see last two photos) Cord works, but should probably be rewired for safety. This is a nice antique early 20th century I believe Chicago area reverse painted chipped ice lamp with ships at sea and a windmill by houses and has a mark shown in the final pic that is the Anderson Foundry mark which was a company based in Chicago that mostly made brass items and were active from 1906-1917. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with no nicks or chips to the main part of the shade but it does have some minor nicks like that seen to the underside of the shade throughout and comes exactly as shown. J efferson reverse painted table lamp. The hand painted shade is 18 inches in diameter and is in mint condition. There are no chips or flakes on the edges and no fractures or cracks in the shade itself. The glass is decorated with an ice chip texture similar to the techniques used by Handel. Although not signed. Based on the design of the woodland scene this lanp has been identified as being part the Prince Charles group as pictured in the Millender books of lamp catalog and is referred to as number L1 888 Woodland Rd. it is also pictured on page 118 in Antique Lamp Buyers Guide by Nadja Maril; Schiffer Publishing. It stands 20 inches tall, and the base is heavy metal that looks like brass or bronze, or has been finished to look like bronze or brass, but I do not know what kind of metal it is. The switch is in the 5 foot cord and the plug has one side larger than the other. The reverse painted glass shade has beautiful apples and leaves. The first two pictures are with the light on. An antique. Circa 1920's, unmarked: Jefferson, table lamp with reverse painted scenic glass shade. The lamp base is cast iron with a nice bronze finish. It retains the original dual socket cluster in working order. One pull chain has been shortened. New cord and plug, switch also on the cord. The shade is probably original to the lamp. The shade holder has been modified and is not original, the brass finial may not be original. Lamp measures 23-1/4" tall by 7-1/2" bottom diameter, the shade measures 7-3/4" tall by 18" diameter. Very good condition: lamp base without breaks or losses, original bronze finish unworn. The shade has number: 848, on the top rim, minor chips to the top edge, the bottom edge with miniscule factory grinding marks.

I have up for sale a gorgeous vintage/ Antique circa 1920s signed shade& base MOE BRIDGES Reverse Painted Boudoir Lamp. The shade is awesome- having vibrant coloration- with butterflies flying amongst flowers and foliage. There are 3 different butterflies positioned in areas around the shade. The shade is correctly signed on the lower rim. I have this shown in pic#10. There is also a number- looks like HH 1134 but its very difficult to decipher. The base is also correctly signed and is the original base to this lamp. The sale is obviously for both the shade and base. Hope I didn't confuse anyone with the separate pic of the shade in my first pic. Although probably not noticeable in the pics. The shade is textured and the colors are bold.T he lamp is much nicer when seen in person- for some reason I could just not get a good representation ... moreof the color and definition of the shades floral pattern. In my opinion it is one of the nicer boudoir shades that Moe Bridges made- my pics do not do it justice. The shade is in Excellent Condition- it has one small flat flake the is on the inner part of the flat rim. It is absolutely insignificant. Being ridiculously fussy, there is one miniscule- uber insignificant- tiny nick on the bottom rim as well. NO outside rim chips- NO repairs, nor anything even remotely construed as a problem. Antique Victorian Kerosene Oil Lamp Reverse Painted EAPG Glass Cast Iron Base
Nice old EAPG glass oil lamp from the mid to late 1800s. Unfortunately some of the paint has flaked off inside but otherwise it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It does not leak and the burner turns freely. The cast iron base measures 5-1/2 inches wide and the lamp is 16 inches high not including the chimney. Chimney is not the original but is included and is 10-1/4" high. It has no nicks, chips, or cracks.

RARE Art Deco Reverse Painted Ribbed Glass Ship/Nautical Scene Hanging Lamp!
This auction is for a truly awesome vintage art deco era reverse painted ribbed glass hanging lamp with nautical scenes. The colors are incredible! The metal has a gold tone or burnished copper paint and was painted originally. There hanging metal"tassels" at the top under the rim and another"tassel" hanging from the bottom of the lamp The panels are not chipped or broken anywhere. But there are little flakes in the paint from years of use as is common with reverse painted items. Nothing serious, but wanted to mention for accuracy. There is one panel which is have photographed, picture 5, where there is a darker spot on the picture-whether from darkening of the paint or the original paint, I don't know. Large Pairpoint All Original Lamp Base 3 lights for Reverse Painted Shade No Res This listing is for a large 26 1/2 inch tall signed Pairpoint lamp base with a 3 light cluster. This would have been used for a large 18 inch reverse painted shade. It is in Pairpoint's original silver finish. It sits on it's original green octagon marble base. At the center of the base is six sided deeply carved glass"ball" The three arms that would hold the shade have their original cork ends to protect the shade. All 3 sockets are original and all work. The base is signed on the bottom"PAIRPOINT" This is one of the fanciest and most elaborate bases Pairpoint produced. A nice base in completely original condition. There is no reserve. Large Rare Bradley & Hubbard Reverse Painted Lamp w/Claw Feet, Handel, Duffer
This rare Bracley& Hubbard reverse painted lamp(circa 1900-1910) Has a claw foot and lily pad base and it's original ribbed glass panels. The shallow shade is reverse painted in very neutral colors, in the skirt and also around the rim of the top panels. The panels are held in with brass strips. The iron base has three claw feet. It's signed with the B& H triangle on the socket cluster. The lamp stands 25" tall, the shade is 18 1/4" across and the base is 10" across. Shade is damaged so you are basically purchasing the lamp base; shade is offered free. One broken top panel and one broken side panel. Support brackets are broken but all parts are present. Shipping will be in two seperate boxes, double boxed. Actual cost for shipping and insurance to your location of lower 48.

A very fine antique. 1920's, unsigned: Handel, boudoir lamp. Probably missing the Handel cloth tag from the original green felt underside. The bronze lamp base has the original gilt finish, slightly worn gilt on the stem. The base is not pictured in either the book by De Falco& Hibel, or Hibel& Fontaine. The Handel reverse painted glass shade has the style number painted: 7019. Lamp measures 13" tall by 5" diameter, the shade 4-1/4" tall by 7" diameter. Excellent condition: base without dents or breaks, in working order with new cord and plug.
