RARE, SIGNED, REVERSE PAINTED HANDLE LAMP (free shipping)
Gorgeous Handle lamp in excellent condition. My grandparents bought this in about 1910& used in for many years. My parents then had it for 50 years and I've had it for 25 years. Although I couldn't get a good picture. It's signed HANDLE 6743. I've only known of one other of this design& it sold at auction for $18,000.00. I use it with two 25 Watt bulbs. Everything works well and it's truly beautiful. I will pay for the shipping, as well as the insurance.

Antique Morgan Simulated Leaded Reverse Painted Chandelier Ceiling Light Lamp
Offered is an antique John Morgan& Sons Art Nouveau chandelier. Chandelier features a center shade with 3 satellite shades. Dates to right around 1908-1910. Bryant 1899 patent turn key sockets on main shade. Pebbly textured glass is reverse painted enamel with a simulated leaded design. The pebble texture gives the shades an attractive sparkly effect when lighted. Enamel is heat fired on the glass and will not flake. All brass construction except for the steel plated chains. These chandeliers are quite rare and it is even more rare to find one complete with original bells and without damage. Chandelier is not signed but they are documented by Paul Crist. Total drop is 43" Chains are 24" long and could be shortened considerably. Center shade is 15" diameter. Satellite shades are 5" high and 5 3/4" wide. Width of ... morechandelier with shades installed is approximately 18" The hanging loops on the chandelier have been opened to allow for removal of the chains. They can be closed with a large channel lock or other type pliers. Although complete hanging chains will be removed and the wires removed from the ceiling bell. With a gorgeous BARK TEXTURE on the exterior. The paintings on 4 of the 8 panels vary. But they all are scenes of cabins with stream& canoe& lake ~ rustic and charming. This was produced by Nicholas Kopp's Pittsburgh Lamp(Pilacrasgo) Co. between 1900 and 1926 when the company was bankrupted. Shade sits on a warm brass-colored cast base with nice leaf. Column pattern. Has a brass light socket with pull chain on/off. Has a 3-legged, adjustable-height shade holder/harp and brass-colored 3-3/4" cap that screws on, to hold the shade in place. As you can see from the last picture of the e-mail exchange with Ulla Darni's studio, this Lamp shade is 100% authentic and very rare since they have not been carving the edges for quite some time, since their carver passed away. A very fine antique. Circa 1920's, gilt and polychrome white metal lamp with matching shade. Unmarked: Phoenix. The lamp base retains the original shade holder, shade cap, and finial. The shade is reverse painted with floral garland and scroll reserves, the exterior satin finished on pebbly texture. In working order with new cord and plug, dual original sockets with pull chains. Lamp measures 21" tall by 8" diameter, the shade 7-1/2" tall by 16" diameter. Very good plus condition: white metal without dents or breaks, original finish with light soiling. It is in working order with original brass socket and turn switch, new cord and plug. Lamp measures 22" tall by 7-3/4" bottom diameter, the shade 7" tall by 16" diameter. Reverse painted lamp shades became popular around 1890-1910. The art of reverse painting can be traced back centuries. Particularly in Renaissance Italy where the process was admired and utilized to produce miniatures of religious subjects. As time moved on artisans from Austria and Poland perfected this skill, and some of those artisans were amongst the millions of immigrants who came to the United States in the late 1800's. The art of the reverse painted lamp shade became extremely popular in the United States. There were several distinguished companies that are generally associated with this process. Manufacturers such as Pairpoint. Handel, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, and Jefferson created beautiful ... morelamps in their time. THE LISTED LAMP: There is no makers mark found on this lamp. When lit it gives off a beautiful multi-colored glow. Highlighted by the pink ribbon drapery effect around the shade's corners and edges. Each of the four sides of the shade are different depictions of people engaged in different activities. The lamp itself is cast metal that has been finished in a brass color. The lamp measures 21" to the top of the finial. The shade is 13 1/4" square at the bottom corners. And it is about 6 1/4" high from the center of the bottom"drapes. And about 4 7/8" high at the corners. The lamp and shade combined weigh 12.0 pounds. CONDITION: There is some brass finish loss to the lamp. And a tiny crack in the pole metal as seen in photograph# 9. This does not affect the stability of the piece at all and it cannot be seen unless the shade is taken off and one looks very close. The shade is in good condition with no cracks. There is a little roughness to the under edges of the shade as seen in the last photograph. And a very small chip under one corner as seen in photograph# 11. The camera makes it look pronounced but one really has to look close

I have an antique Arts& Crafts or Mission style lamp base. It is most likely base metal but has a bronze finish. The base itself is 13" high with a leaf design. The bottom is a little over 7" across. It comes with the shade holder. The shade holder is 9.5" high. There is a little corrosion on the feet. But nothing that can't be cleaned up. It has the original cord and needs to be rewired. PITTSBURGH REVERSE/OBVERSE PAINTED LAMP, EARLY MORNING WINTER SCENE, VERY NICE~~
For auction is a beautiful reverse painted table lamp made by The Pittsburgh Lamp and Brass Company of Pittsburgh. PA. The shade blank is done in the chipped ice or glue chip method with both obverse and reverse painting on it. The table lamp stands 21 1/2" tall and the Shade has a diameter of 14" and the shade itself is 5 5/8" deep. The shade displays a very vibrant and colorful what some collectors call a"Fire and Ice" daytime winter scene. The colors are just wonderful as there is a beautiful teal- blue for the sky with brilliant yellows. Greens, browns, and lots of a soft orange-red that is blended into the background sky. The winter scenic appears to be an early morning one with the sun rising amongst a fresh snow. You can see newly fallen snow on the pine trees. There is obverse painting of snow to show this. ... moreThere are meadows and small cliffs depicted in this reverse painted shade. The shade sits on a 2 light mixed metal base with an excellent original patina. The style of the base is considered a Ribbed Spindle pattern. The design on the foot's outer edges as well as the column tells me this. There are two original ball pull chain sockets that are in excellent working order. The patina is a Craftsman's brown and is considered a 8.5 out of a 10 for quality level. This table lamp is in excellent condition as there are no major issues with it. There are few factory grinding nicks along the very bottom edge and are considered factory and insignificant. The condition of the shade and base is considered very good to excellent for nearly 85 years of use. You simply do not find lamps like this one anymore. Everything is original except for the antique style brown rayon cord. Even the plug is original. The lamp has a signature up under the bottom side above the weight in the base. This is also a documented lamp in"The Better Electric Lamps Book of the 20's and 30's" I have many more pictures if this lamp if you want to see them. I can only upload 12 per Ebay rules

Grapes and Arbor Consolidated Puffy Lamp Shade Reverse Painted Pairpoint Type
Antique"Consolidated Glass" Reverse painted, puffy lamp shade of grapes and vines on arbor. Measures 5-3/4 inches high and approximately 5-1/2 inches diameter. Fitter end measures 2-1/4 inches at the widest and just over 2 inches at the narrow part of the neck. No chips, cracks or damage. In the 5th photo you can see there are tiny flecks of paint on the shade. I took a photo of what I considered the area of the worst of the paint flecks. Both the top and bottom have been factory ground with only a couple of very minor breakouts on the bottom. Excellent. Check out the photos. More lamp shades coming in the next couple of weeks. For sale is a triple signed Miller reverse painted desk lamp. The lamp has two reverse painted plates. The front side plate shows a rural scene with trees and clouds. The back side plate is pained with a blue sky accented with clouds. Both plates are in good shape without cracks. Beautiful scene. The glass could use a good cleaning on the outside but I leave that up to you to decide what to do. The three signatures appear as follows: 1) MILLER LAMPS" in a box on the socket; 2) Miller" in script on the top face of the base just behind the point where the neck attaches to the base; and(3) E M& Co" on the underside of the cast iron counterweight under the base. These signatures are shown in photos 8. 9 and 10 above, respectively. The back side of the socket(not shown) is labelled BRYANT with a patent date of Novemebr 26. 1907. ... moreThe socket is fully operative, clicks nicely and contains its original porcelain interior and mica insulator. The lamp is brass(except for an cast iron plate on the very bottom) and stands 13 3/4 inches tall. The entire shade is 9 inches wide. By 5 inches deep, by 3.75 inches high. The brass has a dark patina comensurate with its age(probably 1920's) so view the photos. The round top where the top of the shade connects to the neck and pivots has a gap and needs to be pressed together. I don't have a tool to do it. But I bring it to your attention. CHOICE SIX PANEL REVERSE PAINTED "CHIPPED ICE" LAMP FLORAL DECOR
Here for your lighting pleasure is a fine. Elegant antique(or nearly so) reverse-painted"slag glass" lamp of the six curved panels variety. The panels are the"chipped ice" type, and are(to my eyes) a pastel yellow-orange, with flowers painted on the bottom 1/2 or so of the panels. The flowers have good detail, although it's hard to see so from the exterior of the shade. The inside surface has a matte finish. Every other panel has a rose in the center of the bottom, in full bloom, and in the right light, they have an silvery iridescence. The base is a bronzed cast metal. With a well0developed patina. There are two sockets with pull chains; one of the sockets is a darker color than the rest of the lamp, leading me to believe that it is either a replacement, or original to the lamp, put in because they ran out of the ... moreproperly colored part, or put together by a careless worker lol. The lamp is 24" tall. And the shade is 18" diameter and 7-1/2" high I had a booth at Scott's Antique Market here in Atlanta in December(pic 12) And the cons'ernsus of the antiques dealers I spoke with was that this lamp was probably made by Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass and Glass Co, Compare shade main color with the color of the lamp in pic 11. If it is Pittsburgh, it's not very common; the vast majority of their reverse-painted lamps are scenic, not floral. Whoever made it knew their stuff. I'd like to keep it, but GA Power wants money. Early 1900s Arts & Craft Bronze Owl Base Lamp Pittsburgh Reverse Painted Shade
This gorgeous lamp is just about the last of the items being listed from my late aunt's estate. We have held onto it because we've enjoyed its incredible beauty. But it's time to let it go. This is an antique, circa 1910-1925 Pittsburgh table lamp. It has a bronze base that is very heavy at a little more than 11 pounds. The three sockets are all in working order and, although quite old, they may not be original fixtures. The wiring is worn and should be replaced. The base is representational of an owl/ urn shape. It has a chipped ice surface texture on the glass shade and is reverse painted in stunning sunset colors. In addition, there is some painting on the outside of the glass which gives it a 3-dimensional quality. There are no chips, cracks or repairs that I can detect. Antique Reverse Painted Pittsburgh Table Lamp Landscape Scene Handel Miller Era
Up for your consideration is beautiful reverse painted lamp attributed to Pittsburgh. This lamp is in great original condition. The base retains its dramatic patinated bronze plating, and the painting on the shade is in good condition as well. The shade has a unique bell form which gives the lamp a really great look. The shade features hand painted landscape scenes. Both the front and rear sides show a large tree surrounded by foliage with rolling hills in the background. The dark colors of the shade give the lamp a nice dramatic look which plays off the base. Overall the shade is in good condition. However there's some chipping on the inside and outside of the fitter(pics 11 and 12) Fitter chips are normal, they're all covered by the heat cap and cannot be seen unless you take the shade off. There's also a few tiny little flea ... morebites on the rim of the shade, which you'd expect to see from age and use. The lamp has been completely rewired with an antique style cloth covered cord and Bakelite plug so its safe and ready to use. Both the socket shell and the heat cap of this lamp have a very nice japanned copper finish. Overall this is just a really nice, clean and original reverse painted table lamp. The shade is 6 inches deep and 12 inches in diameter. The lamp measures 22 inches tall in total. Please be sure to look the pictures over carefully, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Antique REVERSE Painted SPATTER LAMP w/RETICULATED METAL BASE
I bought this old lamp at an estate sale a few years ago and never got around to rewiring it. It is reverse painted glass in pink with black. Gray and gold spatter. The base is metal, probably pot metal, and has a reticulated or open-work design. It is about 11 1/2" tall from bottom of base to top where socket begins. Base measures 6 5/8" in diameter and has four feet. There are no markings that I can see. Lamp has old worn cord and will need to be rewired. There are a few spots of missing spattered paint but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. Glass has no chips or cracks. Metal has gold colored finish and still looks nice. It has attached harp but I can't remove it without disassembling the lamp so it will need to be in a 24" high box. Antique Composite Oil Lamp Diamond Point Fan FONT Reverse Painted STEM
Purchased at an estate auction: an antique composite oil lamp with a clear glass font(diamond point& fan pattern) And a reverse painted glass stem. The two units are connected with a brass connector. The sit on a painted black metal foot. The underside of the metal has rusting. I note no chips or cracks in the glass. I have not cleaned the lamp. I notice the font is a bit dirty. It has expected mold marks. There is no burner. When I purchased the lamp, it had an electrification unit which fit into the top adapter. I have left the adapter in place in the event the buyer would like to add an new electrification unit. If not, the adapter can be removed with pliers. 12" TALL X 6" WIDE, and weighs 2.5 pounds.
