This is an exquisite example of a Sterling silver overlay bottle complete with it's original lid& glass stopper! Not only is it"colored" glass which is more desirable than clear. But it is a thicker overlay sought after by collectors, unlike later cheaper pieces of silver overlay. The bottle is a dark green glass with a thick Sterling silver overlay of beautiful. Swirling Art Nouveau curves. The bottle is hallmarked on the overlay"STERLING" on the bottom edge. The original Sterling silver cap/lid is engraved on the top with ornate script initials and the inside appears to be gold plated/flashed. The cap is threaded inside and screws on& off of the threaded top of the glass bottle. The cap is also hallmarked"STERLING" on the bottom side. Under this cap is the original glass stopper. The tab handle to the stopper was applied to the round base. There is a line where the tab was attached(this is not a crack) These bottles are very rare due to their fragility. Most pieces found have cracks hidden by the silver overlay. This piece does not. The bottle measures approx. 2 5/8" tall from the base to the top of the Sterling silver lid. The bottle measures approx. 1 1/2" diameter. This item is an estate piece and in excellent condition for it's age. ANTIQUE Japanese Bottle for PERFUME ETC. Looks hand-painted - how can I tell?
I've included a bunch of pictures of a little bottle I know nothing about. I really don't know if it's Japanese or Chinese. But it is definitely Asian. I don't know what kind of glass it is made of but it looks and feels like porcelain or China.but(DISCLAIMER) I do not know for sure. This little gem stands 3" high X 1 3/4 wide, and whatever used to be in it smells wonderful because there is a lingering sweet smell. The outside looks like it was hand-painted and one side features a man on a horse with a long, white beard with a spectator, each side has a Japanese shoe, and the other side features a beautiful painted red flower. As I said, I don't know what this bottle is for and I cannot find the logo anywhere, but I know nothing about antiques. This could be your lucky day! Brocard pre-revolution perfume bottle- lady with leaves- label has some damage- approximately 8-1/4 inches in height and 2-1/2 in width at its largest point. Very ornate top and marked Brocard on label. These perfume bottles. Which I have listed a few- are from one of Europe's first perfumerie- the bottles were called"flasks" and unfortunately after revolution Russia's perfume industry decline to almost nothing. These flasks are wonderfully made- show some small little bubbles in glass- which seem to show they were the first products of the mid to late 1800's. Great pieces of art from a lost era.

Here is a set of matching authentic Antique PERFUME Glass bottle s w ith ORIGINAL Glass wand dauber. Blown glass bottles wrapped with ORMOLU GILT w ith matching mirror tray framed in metal brass-like ornate design with French Provincial tassel-tie design. I cannot find any markings on any of the pieces- However. We were told from the estate where we found many treasures of amazing antiques that these perfume bottles with matching tray are said to have belong ed to the women's grandmother and from the late 1800's. These antique perfume bottles were found at an estate of a couple who traveled the world. Her and her husband were instrumental in starting the Cruise industry in and out of ports in Florida and they have several homes around the world. Offered as is. The dauber wand on ea ch is made of glass. The clear glass of each perfume ... morebottle are in good shape. The metal on the ormolu gilt has a warm-like color aged bronze patina shaped as tassels into a bow- including the tray. Which is dusty and needs cleaning. The bottles measure about 7 1/4" tall and almost 4" wide(about 3 6/8" to be precise) Tray measures more than 20" long to ends of each or molu gilt brass-like metal tassel-tied handles. The glass is not cracked or chipped. And has no edge mirror wear that can happen with age. This entire matching set will be packaged very well with bubble wrap and professional peanuts. Super Rare bottle designed& produced by Julien Viard c1920's for various scents from the French luxury goods company of Delettrez. It's very similiar to some of the bottles Lalique did for Coty but it's actually a bit nicer, better glass, more precision& details in the relief designs. Bottle is a bit over 5+1/2 inch tall& a bit over 2+1/2 inch wide. It is in excellent condition with only minor wear. MINIATURE CORKSCREW PERFUME MEDICINE VICTORIAN WINE BOTTLE OPEN FRAME SPRUNG
This is for a fabulous little miniature Victorian perfume bottle corkscrew from the 1890s. It is superb example. Really clean and well preserved and it displays beautifully. It has a delicately turned little handle and is a smaller version of the wine bottle corkscrews with an open frame and spring on the shank that exerts force when the worm penetrates the cork making it easier to remove. These miniatures were used for removing the little corks in both ladies scent bottles and sometimes medicine bottles, this one is likely to be perfume as it has its original tassle still attached. It is in excellent condition with no damage to the steel and only nibbles around the handle. It measures 60mm(2.3" long and is 28mm just over 1" across the handle. Beautiful little Porcelain Bird/Pelican? Perfume Bottle. Floral Top is metal& cork is fragile. The top is not tight fitting most likely because of wear to the cork. Bottom is marked Germany. I can not find Any cracks or chips! And while I was looking this over carefully for flaws. I noticed on one side, on the lower wing area, the numbers 7081! This is etched right into the porcelain so its hard to read! There is discoloration but not sure if it was made as such or from age. I honestly do not want to attempt cleaning this beyond the simple washing I gave it because it is porcelain/fragile. This octagonal clear glass bottle is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Unfortunately there is NO cover. However. As shown in the 1st photo, the name Guerlain(which IS a perfume co. appears in capitals down the side. On the opposite side(not shown) is"Paris" in caps. The 3rd side(2nd photo) shows an elaborate crest with 6 furled flags and other details above and below plus the accented word"depose. The 4th side of the bottle is blank. The 3rd photo is of the bottom of the bottle with the company name in an arc at the top, Paris" in a reverse arc at the bottom, and"France" across the middle. Shipping is $4 via 1st class mail.

This bottle was made by an American silver company probably by Alvin or Gorham right around the year 1900. This piece is not marked but I guarantee the overlay to be sterling silver. The overlay is thick and it a flower and a leaf. There is also a cartouche for monogramming that was never engraved. The overlay is engraved with details. This piece is in excellent condition with no breaks. Repairs, or loss to overlay. This piece measures 2 5/8" in height and 2 1/4" in diameter. This rare antique perfume bottle is labeled 9 x 9 PAQUIN- Rue de la Paix Paris. It was created by Jeanne Paquin in the late 1800's/early 1900's- she opened her business in 1891 at Rue de la Paix in Paris. This perfume bottle measures approximately 3 1/4 inches high from top of stopper to base and about 1 inch wide. The bottle has no cracks- it has some tiny dings. Which are not visible in the pictures. As can be seen in the pictures, the stopper has not been removed and the string around the stopper is still in place, there is a design/writing on the stopper, there is perfume residue in the bottle.
