It is not my intention to mislead in any way with the information provided. Just letting you know what I know(sorry not much: I found the bottle in the bottom of a box of old"junk" at a local sale and thought it interesting. I was told by the seller it was from her grandmother's things and they had been in storage and forgotten about. It looks to me to be authentic, the items in the box were definitely old, and I believe it is probably an antique. It is not marked that I can find. The metal looks and feels like sterling but again, it is not marked. I did a quick magnetic test on it and it is not magnetic. I'm not sure what other metal it would be honestly, to steer in that direction. I dipped it in Tarn-X and it did shine up a bit, in particular the flower part of the lid and the chain. It could have been just dirty though so I really don't know. The main part of the bottle is duller than under the rim, which is very shiny, and I assume the dullness from handling. After all of this being said. It is a sweet little bottle and dauber. It screws on and off easily. In my opinion it is made well. Any questions let me know! I was given this as a gift 55 years ago by my aunt who had it even longer than that, and the only thing I know about it. Is, it's Ivory colour and silver, Victorian India. which makes it well over 130-140 years old I have never used it nor did my aunt. And doubt if her mother did. So it is a used unused item. I do not have good knowledge as to what texture with the silver it is but it is over 130 years old. No hallmark then. In India as there were no rules for hallmarking in those days and even now some parts still do not add hallmark.

vintage german US. Zone cut crystal perfume bottle 1945-1955 clear amathest
This is a vintage german US. Zone crystal perfume bottle. It is signed made in Germany a U.S. zone on the bottom dating it back to between 1945-1955. It features diamond cuts around trhe side of the bottle and a ground bottom. The stopper not original however it does fit and is therefore included. It measures 4 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" in diameter. There are a few nicks on the stopper as pictured and some very light scratching on the bottom that i was unable to picture. This great little perfume bottle looks like a space ship. It is three layer cased. Hand blown glass. The base is clear with a yellow and a white design layer. The bottle is set into a clear glass base. It has an iridescent tear drop stopper. The bottom of the stopper looks like it is chipped- it isn't. However, there is a small chip on the edge of the base rim. It will not show up on a photo. Only noticed it by feeling it. There are black spots that I believe are from when it was being made. This pretty piece measures 2 1/2" tall x 1 5/16" wide x 9/16" deep. Marked STERLING silver and HECHO EN MEXICO D.F. in a circle around 925 and LHM maker's initials. It's a glass bottle encased in cut-out and detailed sterling silver carved into a floral motif with a silver screw-off cap. In very good uncleaned vintage condition, commensurate with it's age and prior use; design elements clean and clear, cap works as intended, there's a small raised and rounded lump of silver along a top edge ~see photo~ this appears to be a solder joint from when the piece was put together and not from wear and tear. I inherited this perfume bottle. I believe it is 50 years old or older- however I am not sure. I have had it 15 years and my aunt was 85 when she gave it to me. I examined it closely and cannot find a flaw. It measures 6 inches high X 2 1/2 inches wide. It has 4 areas with different hand paintings which are in the photos. Gold paint is on the top and feet. Early 1900's Lalique Ambre D'Orsay Black Perfume Bottle
This listing is for a black Lalique Ambre D'Orsay perfume bottle. I don't know what year this bottle was made. But I know it probably dates between 1911 and 1920. The number"95" has been scratched into the bottom of the bottle(you can see it in picture 7) I found this bottle in a box of glass items that came from my Grandparent's house. Unfortunately. The stopper has been lost. There is some sort of staining around the rim of the top-I'm not sure if my Grandmother used this bottle to hold flowers, or if the staining is from the original perfume. There a chip on the bottom of the bottle(shown in picture 7) There are two small scratches on the side, I took two picture of it(pictures 8 and 9) There are a few other very small scratches on various places on the sides, but they don't really show up in the pictures. ... moreThe scratches shown are easily the largest and most noticeable and the bottle is in overall very good condition.
