Green Edge --Pearlware -- Leeds Gravy Boat / Creamer
Hopefully the dinner party was more successful than the fate of this piece. This is a lovely piece that would benefit from some serious restoration fortunately it does not seem to have been repaired with epoxy. So it will hopefully disassemble and reglue nice. It has a very nice shell and leaf handle still attached to a large section of the bowl. It also has a nicely molded green edge with ribbing along the bowl from top to bottom. It stands 4 inches high and measures 8 inches long. It's 3 1/2 inches wide at its widest. Despite the smash up this piece has been sold ar least twice as witnessed by the labels on the bottom. see photos) Although I try to describe all items as accurately as possible- please ask all questions before bidding
C. 1898+ Antique Pearlware Lusterware Syrup Pitcher Royal Rochester/Fraunfelter
Fresh from an estate is this wonderful old pearlware or lusterware syrup pitcher. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The metal lid is on securely and has a good spring to keep it closed. Very clean piece! It is marked Royal Rochester on the bottom. Royal Rochester did the handpainting and the beautiful pearlware glaze. But the form was produced by another firm and I can't quite get the name as it is under the Royal Rochester mark but I believe it to be Fraunfelter. This was not unusual in the early 1900's and many firms, such as Pickard and Stouffer did this. I would date this, because of the way the metal lid is constructed and applied, to the first quarter of the 1900's. This fine old syrup pitcher is fine porcelain. It is about 5 1/2" tall. One thing I love about finding fine old antique pieces is trying ... moreto find out the history about them. Who made them, when they were made. It is sometimes like solving a mystery and I try to tell you all I know and learn about what I offer. If you have any questions or concerns. Please ask. Lovely Antique Staffordshire Historical Blue Pearlware Waste Bowl Birds Flowers
This auction is for a Rare and Unusual Historical Blue Pearlware Waste Bowl with a Fantastic Bird and Floral motif. The bowl features two birds perched on branches amid over sized flowers. To me. The birds look like kingfishers. The inside lip is rimmed with a wide Floral and Victorian Scroll border and there is a medallion at the inside bottom. The piece is not marked. I have been unable in my research to find another example of this pattern anywhere online. But it clearly dates to the early to mid 1800s and was produced by one of the potteries that operated in the Staffordshire region of England in that era. The bowl measures 5 5/8 inches across and 3 inches tall. The bowl has four hairlines spaced around the rim and descending between a quarter and three-quarters way to the bottom. There is dark toning/discoloration throughout the bowl ... moreas well. Please review all the photos. I tried to capture all the condition issues. Even with those issues. The piece Displays Wonderfully and is a Great RARE Example of 19th Century Historical Blue with desirable imagery. Check out my! We are constantly trying to"SPY" out treasures for you in our travels. Please come back often because you never know what we have"commandeered" to offer you! This is a pair of vases that I was not able to identify. They have a slight Asian. Japanese or Chinese, flavor with the flowers looking like cherry blossoms. However, the glaze on the white areas inside the neck and on the bottom have a blue case that reminds me of English pearlware. The vases have a paneled gourd shape with verticle depressions all around giving a lobed shape. They are then painted ... morein cobalt blue, pink and green enamel cherry blossoms, and then bright gold flowers, leaves, and trim. They are wonderful! I'm sorry I wasn't able to find out where they came from. A wonderful treasure you NEED to commandeer for yourself or your loved one! Condition: There is a little loss to the enamel here and there as shown in one spot in my pictures. I found one manufacturing stress crack on the top edge on one. Otherwise. RARE 19th Century English Blue Spatterware Staffordshire Pearlware Pitcher Bowl
This is a very RARE& Beautiful Antique 19th Century Pitcher& Bowl set. An original set not a marriage of two different pieces. A wonderful blue spatterware or spongeware(depending on who you talk to) with a gorgeous Pearlware glaze. Which is bright white and in the corners has a light bluish tinge to it(because of the cobalt which was added to the glaze) The pitcher is a wonderful tall and large bulbous pitcher with flared foot and wide spout. With an applied ornate handle. The top of the bulbous portion of the body and just above the foot has a nice molded line band around it. The bowl has blue decoration inside and out. Which I couldn't find many that had decoration on the outside of the bowl. The bowl has a lined border band around the top edge of the bowl as well. Has a small flared foot. Wide top edge. The pitcher measures ... moreapprox. 10-1/4" by 8-1/2" and the bowl 13-1/2" by 4-3/8" The pair is in amazing condition. Usually this type or pottery is chips. Cracked or stained. The only issues with these pieces are the handle is applied to the body and where it meets the body on the left hand side is a space. Not a crack or broken. Just a slight space where it meets the body. The bowl has some minor wear in the bottom base of it inside. Where the pitcher sat and scuffed it up. There are no chips, cracks or repairs or stains. Amazing this piece has survived in this condition! It is unmarked on the bottom. Not even a registry mark. Which I think means it pre-dates the use of it in the 1940s.
Set of 6 Staffordshire Pearlware Deep Flow Blue Handleless Cups Man Woman Sheep
Lovely set of 6 Stafordshire Pearlware Deep Flow Blue handleless cups. The measure 2" high and about 3 1/2" in dia. One has a chip as shown. The overall condition for these early cups is great. There are a few very tin on that bottom rim. They are very small. Incredible shiny glaze on these and deep blue color. The pattern is the same on all of them. One side of the cup is a man with his sheep and the other side a woman and a men are sitting at a table with a man in the background. Floral pattern on the insides and in between the scenes. Unusual to find a set of like this for their age. Thanks for your time and attention.

Pearlware Embossed Basketweave Pitcher With Brown Lines And Leaves England 1800
This unusual. Oval shaped pearlware pitcher measures 5 1/2" 14 cm) in height and the body measures 5 1/2" by 4 1/2" 11.5 cm) It features 112 raised oval designs, within each brown lined square. The handle has a brown"V" design and the pitcher has a brown vine. With leaves around the top. There is a lighter colored brown/ amber line painted along the rim of the mouth. It has mild even crazing. That is most unnoticable. The pitcher has mild, light colored stains. Inside and out, on the Lt. side. I was told by the person I obtained it from. Who had a huge col- lection of 18th and early 19th century Pearlware. That the tip of the spout had been professionally repaired 45 years prior. I have not seen this exact pitcher before. RARE sprigware pearlware cup saucer sprig ware 1795-1815 figure 8 knot handle
This is pearlware. One can tell from the bluish tinge, pearlware is generally known to be made 1795-1815. The cup handle is unusual. I need Henry Sandon for this one. I spent 3 hours looking for pieces with a similarly knotted handle and none were found. The knot is similar to a sailor's knot, the figure 8 knot. Although some sprigware designs such as fuschia and blue cornflower are common. I cannot find this design or its name anywhere. The applied dots are colored blue. There are two gold lines around the saucer which have almost faded by use, there are two gold lines inside the cup, also almost faded by use. Even the shape of this cup is hard to find and name. There are many common names for shapes of cups. But I cannot locate this. The saucer is deep at 1.25 inches. There is a potter's flaw or firing flaw inside the cup which ... moreis a black mark which I have photoed. There are so many unusual statements to make about this cup. So many unknowns, that I feel it is quite rare. There are no maker's marks. The bottoms of these two pieces are entirely unmarked. FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY. WANT ME TO USE ANOTHER MAILING SERVICE? PLEASE ASK.

It's bright and colorful and has a wonderful Mr. Sun portrait on each side. The jug is bright yellow with a patterned pink base and flowers surrounding the sun face. I've never seen one of these in perfect condition and this one isn't either. But it is very close. There is an old chip repair on the interior top edge and one chip repair on the outer edge of the side of the spout. One of the nozzles was broken off with a little bit of the tubular area where it attaches and was reattached, not ... morereplaced.it appears all original potting. One of the other nozzles has blue paint that is flaking off of it and I believe it was painted when the repair was done to cover some areas where the original blue didn't cover very well when this was fired. I can't find any evidence of repair to the pottery. There is only very slight paint wear on this and it is about as nice as you can find. Dates circa 1820-30. Measures 11" tall, 9" front to handle. English Late Georgian Period Pearlware Silver Luster Cream or Milk Jug c. 1825
This delightful very collectible silver luster pearlware milk or cream jug is probably from the Staffordshire region of England(Silver luster was first perfected in Stoke on Trent) As it happens. It has a beautiful and somewhat ghostly pattern of birds, leaves and vines on the main band around the body of the piece. There are a two very tiny chips on the spout but otherwise the pitcher is in remarkably good condition. There is a light crazing in the pearlware glaze.
