I note a few minor dings but nothing terrible. they are 3 1/4 inches tall with 1 1/2 inch bases and 1 1/4 diameter tops(where the holes are) I note that while both of the glass tops have a bit of opalescense one definitely has more than the other. It is embossed on bottom"Portieux" Depose" and is acid stamped"Made in France" in middle(see photos) It is in great condition overall. One of the ruffled on top has a 1/2" long hairline. The center of the compote is enameled with hand painted florals and bead pattern. There was gold gilt accents originally highlighting the enamel work. But the gilt is mostly worn. The rim of the compote and base are gold gilded as well and that gilding is in good condition showing minor wear. No chips, dings or nicks. The compote is 5" tall and has 5 1/2" diameter. When the egg is opened. There is the perfume bottle and stopper. There is a gold border of leaves around the throat of the perfume. The top of the egg has a gold and white enameled design, There is damage to this set as shown. There is a chip to the throat of the perfume and a chip on the backside bottom of the egg. The stopper fits snugly and there are some nicks to the bottom of the stopper. The hinge does not close snugly. Still a nice cabinet piece as only the good sides show.

Our investigation leads us to believe this beautiful vase was created in France.It is hand painted with rich blue leaves and red flowers.With delicate white flowers and deep brown stem work that matches the top and base. The beading is intact on all the white floral work, and the gilding is approximately 90% on the flora design, and approximately 50% on the base. There are 4-5 small flea bites in the rim(see photos' 9 and 11) and a very small flake chip on the interior that cannot be photographed. But can be felt by fingertip,so we remark it for accuracy. This listing is for an Antique. Victorian Enameled Urn Vase, commonly referred to as a Bristol Vase, in Opaline Blue. The vase is hand-blown with a hand-painted floral and bows design and gold trim. The glass is semi-opaque. The pontil scar is a creamy blue. The pedestal style foot is similar to Victorian era vases attributed to France, however most originated from Bohemia or Belgium. There are no maker or decorator marks. The piece likely dates to the mid-late 1800's. The piece measures 12 3/8" high. 3 7/8" in diameter at the mouth, 4 7/8" in diameter at the base and weighs 1 lb 12.9 oz. The vase is chip. Crack and fleabite free. The artwork is in good condition with some marks and fading of the gold trim. The gold trim has faded and has some weak spots and one part missing at the base. Near mint, highly sought after French pink very opalescent pattern miniature oil lamp made by one of the première world class glass makers of the 20 th century. This particular lamp is listed& referenced in the Night Light NL# 81. Which is very similar to HII-530? The value placed on the similar lamp in HII-530 10 years ago was. $1600. To me the lamp offered here for sale is far superior for many reasons listed below. The important color differences between the two lamps; the lamp in this auction has a slightly paneled shade(only on the inside) which is not blotchy(meaning HII-530 shade coloring has some ... moreareas that are darker and some much lighter next to each other) to me it is not nearly as appealing) The shade& base match in color very well(unlike the few that I have seen) The top of the shade& base is a MUCH softer& delicate pink then HII-530; the soft very opalescent pink gradually turns into a very opalescent crystal. Rolled gold on brass, very ornate rococo edging surrounding the central part under crystal glass, there are two colours of hair, the curled hair is dark brown, this has pearls across it in one section(one pearl is missing/loose) There are also pieces of shaped and cut light brown hair, creating'leaves' on a plant. Fantastic large French blue opaline glass orb vessel. Massive in size at just over 12 inches in height. Glass is very thick and relatively heavy. A rare form for the era(circa 1930's) that can still easily merge into contemporary decors. In Excellent condition. This is a handmade piece and air bubbles and tiny imperfections are present in the glass- see photos. No chips. Fleabites, cracks, crazing, etc. The bottom of the vessel has wear from being set down. Antique large dresser. Jewelry, or powder box in opaline satin glass. It has brass ormolu trim and is possibly French or Italian. There are no markings on it that I could find. The glass is beautifully translucent. Most recently, the box was used for powder and we left the powder puff in the box. The box is 6" diameter. 5 1/2" high including the lid. 2 3/4" high without the lid. It weighs a little over 2 pounds. Simply a beautiful piece. The vase is decorated all around center with hand painted raised blue flora and fauna& butterflies. Condition: Bands of gold are almost completely gone. The vase stands 11 1/4" tall and is in wonderful condition with no chips. Dings or nicks. Three minor pinhead size area of missing enameling. Origin/Age: Believed to be of French origin and quite early- probably circa 1860-1880. No marks. When viewing the photos. Victorian Bristol Opaline Glass Rhinestone Jewel Moriage Portrait Vase Signed
Unique antique Bristol glass portrait vase up for auction. Victorian era hand blown opaline glass with painted enamel decorations. The center is a transfer of what looks like Gypsy girls decorated in moriage. One girl has a rhinestone set on her hand as she is showing it to the others. The transfer has a signature. Emerald" The bottom is hand numbered and lettered. I find no cracks. I find a chip on the top rim that looks like someone has filled in with black, camouflages it nicely. There is some wear on the decoration, once there was gold lattice on the black around the center. The gold has also worn away from the bands on the top and bottom. Beautiful vase despite the tiny flaws, hope it finds its pair. Very Nice early 19th Century Bohemian Opaline Bowl& Under plate. Plate measures about 6-3/4" in diameter, the bowl is about 5 1/2 in diameter and 2 3/4 inches tall. It show wear to enamel and gilding as pictured, the bowl shows more wear than plate but still a wonderful cabinet piece. I have been told this set dates to around 1800-25.
