The table is design to be suspended and there are two brackets with which it can be fixed to the wall. The table top has a walnut veneer which has a fantastic grain running through it. The gold in colour and has been beautifully carved. The amount of work that has gone into this piece is fabulous- it has plenty of intricate detail. This really is a lovely table and would look fantastic in any room- it is probably most suited to a hallway but could equally be used in a dining or living room with a nice mirror above it. The console is a superb size and is in good condition overall. It does have some wear which includes a bruise to the wood on the table top. Tea Table features nice deep color and grain pattern. With a scalloped skirt resting on four cabriole legs with slight carving to knees, with protective hard rubber foot terminal ending. There are no candle slides on this model. Construction is rock solid steady with stamped markings underneath, but no maker name, could be any one of several small factories making colonial reproductions of good quality well before the internet and big box store days. Glue blocks on corners undererneath are nice and sound. This is all solid wood, not a cheap chip board foreign mahogany lookalike with sprayed laquer finish that looks garish in person! Condition Report: Slight rub mark to leg as shown. Small burn mark on top. General wear and tear of a used piece. But not abuse; I will clean it up before pickup as I do with all my dealer furniture to presentation quality ready for your home. Two ... moreof the three doors are false. However, the drawer area encompasses the entire area under the main cabinet and the bottom. The door has a fantastic inlaid shell design. The classic canted corners help display how beautiful the patina is on this old cabinet. The door to the inside is paneled and is chamfered on the inside. There are several shelves. Height to the top = 42" Width across the front = 24 3/4" Depth is 19" in the middle and 20 1/2" on each rear side. Canted corners are 4" each. Area under front of cabinet is 1 3/4" This corner cabinet as always beena corner cabinet and built as such versus being a hanging corner cabinet made from the top of a standing cabinet. It is in very good and ready to hang condition. There have been a repairs on this cabinet.some older than others.the very top left piece of molding has been replaced as well as the molding on the base on the left. The middle knob is not original and the shell has had a few additions due to a very small amount of inlay loss. Quality and time tested craftsmanship helps make this cabinet sweet. Vintage Wood Backgammon Inlaid Marquetry Walnut, Maple And Rosewood
This is an extraordinary backgammon board. It is a very old board done with excellent craftsmanship. I believe that four woods. Walnut, maple, Rosewood and teak have been used in making this board. There are the original playing pieces, please count as there are an odd number for each the light and dark and it appears, sadly, a couple are missing. These could be refashioned from a simple piece of hardwood dowel. There are five original die included. Antique Rare English Victorian Beaded Rosewood Marquetry Breakfast Serving Tray
Rare Antique English Victorian Beaded Rosewood breakfast serving tray dating back to early 1800's. Beautiful hand laid Marquetry around the edge. The beadwork is beautiful. It looks like a few of the lighter colored beads have been replaced. The beadwork separates from the wood with 4 wooden numbered nuts on pegs(see pictures) There is some writing on the back explaining its history/origin. Somewhat hard to read. It measures 22.25 inches by 10.75 inches and 1.5 inches thick. This is a very old piece and is in very condition. It looks like there have been some repairs over the years but it is a Very Rare Beautiful Piece of History.

Luckily all the dents are on the side below the table and not too visible. Early signed EFS mahogany and inlay SERVING TRAY brass handles marquetry design
This very fine early serving tray measures about 24 1/2" between the handles and is about 13 1/2" wide. The rim around the outside edge is about 5/8"high. It is made of mahogany and has solid brass handles at both ends. The central oval medallion measures 4 3/4" by 2 1/4" And is made of a lighter colored wood, perhaps boxwood, that is inlaid into the mahagony using a marquetry technique(not an applied decal) The tray is signed by the maker on the bottom, EFS" as shown; I have no idea who this might be. In addition, there is the remnant of an original tag glued below the maker's mark. The tray originally had four felt covered button"feet" two of these have been replaced by squares of some sort of protective material glued to the wood, so the tray does not sit perfectly level. All four of these devices ... morecould easily be removed to eliminate the wobble. The tray is in rearkable condition for its age. Other than the usual age- and use-related scratches and scuffs that you would expect to see on a household item of this age, the only damage that I can see are two areas where the wood has begun to split, one area under each handle(pics#9 and#10) most of the wood is still there and could be glued back down fairly easily. There are also some not very obvious circular water or heat stains on the interior surface(pic#11) No other flaws that I can find. Some of the pics may make it appear that there is a stand under the tray. THERE IS NOT-there is no stand included in this auction, just the tray itself. Vintage Jewelry Wood Dresser Trinket Box w Marquetry Inlay~signed/dated 1937
Vintage Wooden Trinket Box Vintage wooden trinket or dresser box with inlaid marquetry lid. Signed and dated on the back. Sept. 5, 1937' I can't make out the signature. Which is underneath the date, but it looks like it starts with a'G' The box measures 3.5" long. 2 and 7/8" wide and sits 1 and 5/8" tall. There are metal hinges at the back. Which were originally brass-colored, but which are tarnished. The marquetry pattern is nice and tight and can be seen from both sides of the lid. Sides of the box are done with tongue in groove joints. I feel it's in very good condition. Considering it's age, but there are surface scratches and smudges to the finish. There are a few small dots or splotches of what appears to be paint. Thanks for looking!

The box looks like 2 boxes lying on their sides with a row of books in between. The spine of the bottom book slides off and book VI slides down revealing a key to unlock the box. The key is included. The key slot was widened and the key pokes into the interior of the box. So it may not be original. The base slide off revealing a compartment, but I think there used to be side pieces on the base that are no longer there. If they were there, the compartment would be hidden. One of the hinges on the cover is missing 2 tiny nails and there is a crack in the top corner. The box itself is in beautiful condition. I ship most of my items. Except for books, Priority Mail. Antique Hand Made Marquetry & Mother of Pearl Inlay Satin Lined Wood Trinket Box
This is a listing for an antique Hand made 19thC marquetry and mother of pearl inlaid SEWING JEWELRY box. It is a really nice box that was most likely made in the late 19th century not sure of exact age but it is really pretty and all handmade. It appears to be made of Walnut or possibly Mahogany or even Oak- there may be different woods in it due to the fact it has various inlays- although not certain-please view photos as we are not wood experts. It is accented all over with inlay- top center around the box and inside as well. It would work wonderfully for sewing items or possibly jewelry.
