I believe it was made by the R. Williamson Co. As it is identical to one in their 1913 catalog. It has curved caramel swirl glass on the top portion, with green, red, and caramel on the bottom section. It measures 5" square on the bottom, 4 3/4" tall, with the circular opening at the top measuring 2 1/8" in diameter. There is a small scratch or hairline crack near the bottom of one curved caramel section which I found impossible to capture ... morein a photo, but otherwise in excellent condition. It is a very unique lamp and has a light inside the base of the lamp as well as under the shade. the base is very ornate and nicely footed and has great cut out detailing. the shaft of the lamp has great white and purple stained glass slabs with ornate lead separating pieces. there is a bulb that is inserted from the bottom of the base illuminating through the base glass. above this is a brass cap which holds the brass socket which has an on/off pull chain. the harp is very obscure and sits over the socket holding the large shade. the shade is very ornate and has many purple and white stained glass panels. each panel have two griffin/dragons facing each other and are very detailed. the shade is equally as ornate as the base and is a matching set both made from lead. ... moreit has a great solid lead pineapple finial. it is overall in nice condition with a great patina. some pieces may bend a bit but bing lead it bends right back into place. very rare to have no pieces missing. measures 22 1/4 inches tall by 12 inches wide. Please excuse the camera glare(white spots) in my first photo. This antique hanging lamp has been in my family 54 years. In a padded box, and it was already was old back then. Maker& year that it was created, unknown, input appreciated. It is large, at 27" accross, and approximately 16" tall to the top of the finial, see photo with tape measure. 3- socket working fixture states; Benjamin Patents Mar 3, 1903. Although the frame and metal leading is sturdy, the socket fixture is loose in the frame, and I did not want to hang the lamp to photo. There are 12 small glass panels with cracks, all on the skirt area, the most noticeable are shown in my last 7 photos. Lamp displays very well when lit, much better than my photos. Fresh from Maryland Estate sale is this original Unique Lamp Art Glass& Metal Co. lamp base.VERY Very nice old lamp. The base is unsigned on the underside. Rich patina with green lines in body. The base is large and stands 23.25 inches in height. The bottom of the base is 8 inches in diameter. The base has wonderful patina, the sockets, the heat cap, the finial and the acorns match perfectly. Circa 1910? The base has it's three original Hubbell neckless sockets. Each socket is heavily embossed with Hubbell. Sockets have matching Hubbell interior and mica insulators. All three sockets work and click crisply. The base has an old silk electrical cord but do not know if this is original. Cord has two original stickers"R. W. Ritters Laboratories. Insulated cord#C972, Belden. Also has a Bakelite plug. This great Mid Century Modern piece is rendered from CAPIZ shells and measures approximately 7.5” tall by 5” in diameter at the top and 12.5” in diameter at the bottom. The semi-translucent shells are mounted in the brass wrapped edge with leaded back joining style of stained glass. The three tiered design as scalloped edges at the top and bottom. I have for sale a vintage Tiffany style lamp shade that is 15" at the base and is 7 1/4" tall. This lamp shade has beautiful colors and has 5 dragonflies with exquisite overlay of cutout metal detail on the wings. The hole at the top is standard size for mounting to a lamp. Lovely unsigned Handel overlay or Teroca Lamp shade. Shade is 24" diameter. Fitter opening is 5" Shade seems to have all original glass. One green panel has a repaired crack, it's hard to tell, with the overlay you don't see it at all. The last two photo's show the crack, inside& outside view. T his is a large and elegant original Bigelow Kinnard of Boston leaded glass and bronze table lamp with all its original signature parts. It dates from around 1906. This lamp has been in my immediate family since the fall of 1975 when it was purchased from a Fine Art antique shop in Chicago. About the company: The Bigelow Kennard& Co. of Boston was one of the leading merchants of Boston in the 19th and early 20th century. Selling very high-quality domestic and imported glass, silver and clocks. John Bigelow founded the firm around 1824 and was soon joined by his brothers, Alanson and Abraham Bigelow. In 1830, they were known as Bigelow Brothers. But when Martin Parry Kennard of Brookline joined the firm around 1846 the company became known as Bigelow Brothers& Kennard until 1863. Then from 1863 to 1972 it was Bigelow Kennard& ... moreCo. This Bigelow Kinnard lamp has a domical shade composed of four overlapping tiers of heart and petal-shaped. Striated and textured glass leafage shading in hue down through the four tiers. It starts at the top in emerald and ivory bands, grading into deeper emeralds, olives, ecrus, then with caramels, and ending in the last tier with touches of swirling ambers and tangerines. These tiers are above the iridescent pearly-white, elongated and relatively smooth petal-shaped glass panels which form the outer and lower edge of the"flower" it was impossible to photograph the fiery"iridescence" seen in these"petals" when the bulbs are turned on) The shade takes on ever differing hues. As you can see by the changing colors in the photographs of the shade depending upon the light source. Note. The glass used in this shade had to be precisely hand cut in order to achieve the eye-catching symmetry—unlike the florals so often seen in this genre. Which for the most part are more randomly cut. The bottom of the base measures about 1/2 inch thick and is about 16 inches across, and like the shade is unsigned, it appears to be bronze with an applied patina, I don't know for sure, but suspect that the base is filled with lead or someother metal to add weight, a photo is posted of the bottom. The lamp without the shade weighs about 30 Lbs. I purchased the lamp about 25 years ago from an 86 year old gentleman who was moving into an assisted living facility. He purchased a house with all its contents in 1933, and the lamp came with the house. The lamp's cord went bad in the 1960's according to Hugh, he then removed the shade and stored it, and then placed the base in a closet. The lamp does have a slight tilt to it due to laying in a closet for over 25 years, I've never attempted to straighten it out, as it never bothered me. The manufacturer is unknown to me. I assume it was a new player in the leaded stained glass business in the early part of the last century(1907- 1910) as the shade, to me anyway, looks to be over-engineered. This is a stunningly large vintage brass and stained/ leaded glass electric table lamp. the lamp has great detail and is a large/ heavy lamp. the shaft of the lamp has much detailing and done with an abundance of detail holding two arms. The arms hold candle shaped sockets and generic sized bulbs. there is also a on/off switch located on the circular base. the lamp is made from piece of brass and iron. the shade is very large and articulated together with very dimensional hand cut stained and textured glass. It is in the shape of leaves and fruit which looks almost lifelike due to its dimension. the shade is in nice condition, the lamp is also topped with a bronze finial. it works great and in good shape measuring 24 inches tall by 16 inches wide. in nice working shape. it has a wonderful patina from age. Up for you consideration. A leaded glass pool table lamp with the Coca Cola logo on all sides. I believe this was made using the copper foil technique. It measures 43" long by 20" wide and is 14" tall at its highest point. It weighs, I would guess, 20 pound, maybe even more. A beautifully made item with great colors, it was made around 1990. It comes with 3 lamps and can be hung either via 3 different points or a single center point. You'll have to make sure the electrical box is rated for a lamp of this weight. Vintage Empire Leaded Base Bent Panel Purple Colored Slag Glass Lamp
This is a vintage Empire leaded base bent panel purple colored slag glass lamp. It has eight panels with what looks like an oil lamp with vines and a mirror with a boy on top. This is found in the book. Electric Lighting of the Twenty's& Thirty's. The shade and base however are a union and not made for each other. It measures 22 1/2" tall and the shade is 7" tall x 16" in diameter. The base measures 9 1/4" in diameter. The lamp has been repainted and there is some paint loss. There are no chips, cracks or repair in the glass. The lamp is in good working condition as you can see in the pictures. It has a cord that I would not put on that type of lamp. Circa first halfr of the 20th Century.The LAMP looks similar to lamps done by NAMGREB or Bergmann but the figure of the Arab Man sitting inside of the leaded glass tent is not Bronze but just metal. I say it is an unusual piece because I have yet to see another stained glass lamp made in this traditional Vienna Bronze style and again my lamp is not Bronze. The Arab Man with legs crossed sitting inside his tent is playing his stringed instrument possibly a Lute. The Tent stands approx 12" high and appears in nice condition.
