The vintage Cupid brass figure is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and the lamp with the shade stands around 18 inches tall. It is on a solid marble base. My estimate for the figure and base is around the 1930s and it has a French look to it. The beautiful thing is that it has been rewired professionally. So no worries about the wiring. Also, the shade is newer and looks pretty nice, but the statue is exquisite 1930s beauty. It has excellent detail like a great sculpture. It has its original patina. Nothing on the statue is broken, cracked. The nose has a bit of wear like somebody was rubbing it, but that makes it charming. I tried to capture the nose in the photographs. This is a smaller lamp. So please consider the size of 9 inches is. The size of the statue. Again, this is quality. I purchased this from an estate. The house was way over $1 million. I like the shade, but it isn't original to the lamp. This lamp would look beautiful with an antique shade in my opinion. So please examine the pictures carefully because what you see in the pictures and what I describe will be better than what you see in the pictures and what I describe when it arrives. I normally never say that. But in this case. This is a beautiful lamp, a beautiful brass cherub, something special to behold. Please feel free's to ask questions regarding this item. C. 1920/30 at a guess. The metal is a bit like a spelter with a lovely patinated finish made to imitate bronze. Cast to the underside MADE IN FRANCE. Measures 14.5 inches/37cm tall. CLARKES FAIRY CRICKLITE LAMP OIL CANDLE BASE CUP & GLASS DOME CUT PRESSED GLASS
Here we have a stamped original Victorian Clarke's Cricklite/Fairy Lamp type night-light holding base cup with its original matching glass dome(peg version for candlesticks etc. The lamps were used with night-light candles(similar to tea-lights of today but usually deeper) and sometimes a very small oil lamp in the place of a candle. The cup is made of clear pressed-glass imitating brilliant-cut crystal. The peg at the base has its often missing wooden'stump-like' mount around it to fit into a candle socket. The base measures 10cm diameter and is in excellent condition. The glass dome measures 8cm diameter at the bottom and 12 cm high approx. and is in very nice condition with a couple of nibbles from the top glass rim and some verdigree under the metal rim but I am sure this could be clean ed off- but does not detract in any ... moreway. There are a couple of bubbles in the glass from the original manufacture- a sign of its age. The gold band running around the bottom circumference is impressed with the Cricklite name. The entire lamp has a Cloisonne Style look to it. I am unsure of the exact material that the body of the lamp is made with. This lamp weighs 7.6 pounds and measures 20" tall up to the top of the light socket. It measures 5 and 1/2" across at the base by 21" around at the fattest section. Extremely Rare ~ Antique Boudoir Style Half Doll Lamp Base
This would make a wonderful gift for the collector. Yes, it does need some work but is a great find. To give or to keep for yourself. This is a very rare find. This Half Doll looks like she was once part of a lamp. And probably had a beautiful dress over the existing skirting. She has wavy mohair. Sultry eyes, and ruby lips. There are scuff marks on the eye brow. Nose, chin, and some of her body, though in very good condition for her age-which a classy lady never tells. Her arms could be replaced with modern replacement parts. But for now there are two small corks on the end of the wires. This half-doll has a diamond with the letter D in side at the base of her back. This is a markers mark that I could not identify. She could be displayed in her existing condition. Or with restoration she could be turned back into a beautiful lamp. She stands ... moreabout 15 1/2" tall. But she is not against the wire on top of the lamp frame. And that is from the top of her head to the bottom of the base. The actual doll is about 5 1/2" tall. I think that she is made of chalkware. I have to assume that she has quite a history. But here again, a lady never tells.

It is a 2 story house with trees and a garden The shade is a clip-on and has slate blue trim with hearts and bows. The on/off switch is on the cord. It uses a regular light bulb. Very cute!

I am extremely pleased to offer this exciting art glass lamp base(or could be used as a vase) by Johann Loetz Witwe. Circa 1895. Marmoriertes glass, Carneol type, salmon red threads mixed with opal white layer, which is slightly UV reactive. No pontil, unmarked. In very nice condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It was apparently a lamp before it was set into this base, because it has a hole drilled into the bottom. The base is brass with a beautiful embossed flower motif. The ... moretop that holds the socket is brass, and fits into the inside of the vase. Some of the"teeth" at the top of the lamp are rough. Aside from that, there are no chips, cracks or repairs. The glass is clean and bright. The top and base could probably use a good polish. The cord and plug seem OK, but are dated. Please examine the photographs carefully they are part of the description. Beautiful Cambridge Elegant Glass hurricane lamp base. Martha blank. And Chantilly etch. A very popular etch that was made from 1938 to 1958. This piece could be matched with a hurricane globe or used as a candlestick if desired. Stands 5" tall, and has a diameter of 5 1/8" at the base. Sadly. There is a bruise noted within the glass at the neck. See last photo. It appears as a cloudy area, slightly less than 1" long and irregularly shaped. Large pretty brown onyx glazed lamp base.Square with rounded corners. And gentle bend in body, nice typically pre-1950 design around base. Pottery is 12 inches tall, with added harp total of 24 inches. Harp has clear glass finial. Lamp has been competently rewired, well done, not recent from appearance of cord and plug. Though not in catalogs I could find, the style and glaze is very characteristic of Brush McCoy, and it was purchased where the pottery was made in Ohio. Heavy, almost 5 lbs.

This is a beautiful EAPG(early American pressed glass) oil lamp with a brass and marble base. Standing 9" high. The base is just under 3-1/2" square. Antique cast iron lamp depicting a Geisha on an ornate stand wearing a kimono and playing a mandolin. Full figure body. Circa: 1920's most likely by Hubley as you can see a similar form in a doorstop. Very unusual to see it in a lamp- would make a great companion piece. She stands 5 3/4" 6 3/4" including the stand.
