You are bidding on a pre-owned vintage footed lamp base. It is in excellent condition with a nice worn finish with no cracks or chips. It is ornate cast metal brass marked with some letters I can't read and the number 1032. It is 7 inches square and 2 1/2 inches tall with a 1/2 inch diameter hole. It looks good enough to eat. the three concentric tiered opalescent Clambroth milk glass shade has fabulous red swirls throughout with hints of toffee brown swirls joining in the glory of this lil` one of a kind. Appears very much to look like a Ice Cream Sundae and the finial is shaped like a red cherry. or it could probably be a layered strawberry short cake with the red finial appearing like a strawberry. The shade sits atop a Red antiqued ceramic hexagonal base. The original color appears to have been green as you will see in the pictures. Antique Art Deco Figural Elephant Cast Iron Lamp Base. Measures 9 1/8" tall to the top of the bulb holder X 8" tall to the top of the metal bulb holder. Marked on the bottom: P A. for Plume& Atwood in Thomaston Connecticut who started in business in 1871. Heavy cast base with a bronze or brass finish. Trunk up Elephant in a walking step with one foot raised. The base resembles a rock or stone ground with tinges of Red. The Elephant holds a round beaded disk in his trunk that attaches to the flame or lotus like open top. This holds an old paper covered lamp socket with faux candle drip and a Bakelite knob. 1900's handpainted oriental lamp base with rods and top piece for connecting socket. This is a very old and collectible porcelain art which is a hand painted design. There is a few chips in the paint as you can see in pics as well as pieces of the wood base have been chipped off. This is not working and needs to be rewired and sockets attached. Unique 1870's Antique Hand Painted Lotus Glass Lamp Base Converted & Convertible
Here is a beautiful antique glass oil or kerosene lamp base that has been converted for electric. What's unique and convertible about this lovely lamp is that the reservoir where the oil would go is removable from the base itself so that it could also be used as a planter or even a vase for a dried floral arrangement. Perhaps. Even without the wonderful hand painting of the lotus design- the base is marvelous! The glass has a variegation in color from off white to pale green to pale pink with the top rim showing a pale yellow. Along the top is a molded floral type motif. The cap at the top appears to be brass while the bottom base is cast iron with great detail. 18-inch oil lamp brass font base cranberry crystal globe 2 carrying handles 1900
Offered is this large and lovely antique oil lamp with a brass base that measures 10 inches in diameter(25.5 cm) The base also serves as the font to hold the fuel oil. Two handles on either side of the base facilitate carrying. The cranberry-pink globe stands 12.25 inches tall(31 cm) and measures about 8.5 inches in diameter(21.5 cm) The design is polka dot and the top rim is crimped. The total height from tabletop to the top of the globe is 18.25 inches(46.5 cm) There is a clear crystal chimney inside the cranberry globe. As far as we know. This oil is lamp in working order. There is a wick in place and the burner knob will raise and lower it. We don’t know who made this piece, but we believe it dates to about 1900. The number 800 appears on the bottom, but we can find no other maker’s mark. The lamp is in very good condition for its years. ... moreThe brass front has a number of small dents and in some places the brass finish has been pitted. See photos. The cranberry crystal globe is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Except for the some rough places on the base where the globe fits onto the burner platform. Again, see photos. The platform that holds the clear-crystal chimney and cranberry globe can be screwed in place or removed as a unit. To allow easy access to the wick. Looking at the brass font-base from above, the wick encircles the center hole. The font is somewhat like a doughnut that encircles the hole. We have never seen an oil lamp like this one. So we’re not sure what additional details should be included. We would appreciate any information a more knowledgeable eBay member might be able to provide. To stay within size limits for international shipping. The lamp would require two packages, one weighing 10 pounds and one weighing 6 pounds. Great 1930's Capodimonte Porcelain Lamp Brass Dolphin Base This is a very nice old Capodimonte lamp from my own collection. It is sometimes called the B363 style and was probably one of Capodimonte's most popular lamps in the 1930's. This lamp works. Has what is probably the original wiring. The lamp has the original brass base with dolphin feet and is about 18" tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the bulb fixture. There is a little bit of wear to the gold paint near the very bottom of the porcelain base. Otherwise no cracks chips or other damage. The porcelain portion is about 12" from top to bottom. Capodimonte didn't mark all of their old pieces but this one is marked in gold hand done paint on the inner underside.you have to look for it carefully. This lamp is about 75 years old give or take. I believe the lamp on that page is are base. Lamp with are base Sold for over $3,000 last summer. Fair to Good Condition. Has paint loss, may have been repainted years ago. Appears to have been rewired at some time. Both fat boy brass sockets work fine and look original to the lamp. Felt has been pushed in on bottom and is worn. No cracks or chips in base. The shade measures 19.5" wide and 7.25"deep it contains 8 sunset glass panels under a palm tree metal overlay design and 8 green glass panels under a S design. This is an example of their early production.as far as I can tell they stopped making these hammered surface lamps years ago.too bad as they were one of the best thing this company ever made. Original dark patina is intentionally slightly mottled(see photos) Hammered surfaces throughout and even the shade supports have a hammered texture.so this lamp looks more like a vintage piece from the A& C/ Mission Oak era. Size: 15-1/2" tall. Shade is 14-1/4" diameter. The mica panels on the shade are factory glued-in-place and on one of the panels. Unique Old Lamp- Bottom Lights Too Up for consideration is an old lamp with bottom light in red painted glass. 4 way switch, metal cast bottom with 4 legs, chimney, and shade. Has a real neat look to it. The red paint on the glass has peeled off on some areas- still looks pretty much red though. The turn switch has 4 clicks, so am guessing it takes a 3 way bulb. The bottom/base light comes on on the 4 the click. The switch is a bit different in that it activates when the switch is in the middle of the click. Up for auction is an antique vintage galvanized non-electric oil finger lamp base recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good to very good used condition. It is not signed and there are no other markings. This lamp base does not have a burner but will accommodate a 7/8" one. The diameter of the base opening is approximately 3 3/8" in size. The handle adds another inch. Very clean inside and out, but a bit of minor rut song base. It will clean up. A nice part if needed. We/are pleased to offer this beautifully designed. Antique(1940s) lamp. The lamp is candlestick fashioned and is grand in scale, measuring 48" tall with the harp attached. It is a heavy, gilt/gilded iron tole, with a purposeful, rubbed finish. The finish allows the black iron tole color to be revealed and adds to the gorgeous, aged look of this lamp. The lamp base is raised and features three, very long dolphin or koi fish. The trio are perched on curved acanthus leaves. Their fin sections are exaggerated and repeat the acanthus feature. This is a very nicely constructed lamp. There are no manufacturer's mark or sticker, but the lamp bears strong characteristics of Italian design. Vtg ART DECO Glass Shaft w Brass& Mirror Base Candlestick Table Lamp- Works Up for sale is a vintage art deco candlestick table lamp with a glass shaft and a brass accented beveled mirror base. It's just under 14" at pictured. The glass shaft has chips were it connects to the base as in the photos. The mirror has a chip as in the photo but it's on the underneath side(don't know how that happens) The top side you feels is not chipped. The mirror has brass candlewick edge and an ornate brass center band. The base is also footed. The lamp works! I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several decades old. ANTIQUE GILDED SPELTER WHITE METAL SLAG GLASS PANEL SHADE VINTAGE BOUDOIR VANITY LAMP An antique Boudoir Vanity Lamp Base that is made from spelter( or white metal) and appears to have the original gold finish. It has a raised decoration with swags of flowers and the original pull chain socket that is the size of a night light bulb. The original shade holder is still intact but is very rusty(see photo) It originally took a slag glass or panel lamp shade. The wiring is still old with the silk covered wire and should be changed(although this lamp is working with the old wiring) It measures approximately 11 3/4" high(to the top of the shade holder) x 4" in diameter at the base. The base. To the top of the pull chain socket, measures about 8 3/4" high. The shade holder is about 2 5/8" in diameter(the lip the shade sits on) ... moreand above that it is about 2" in diameter. THIS LOVELY OLD LAMP IS OVER 100 YEARS OLD AND HAS SURVIVED INTACT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ONE SMALL CHIP INSIDE THE BASE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO. This is a 1940s or earlier vintage kerosene oil lamp in very good condition and working order. It features a sturdy unitary one-piece glass base and oil bowl. With the bowl section being transparent amber in color. The wick is intact and operates smoothly by turning the screw. The wick mechanism securely screws onto the top of the glass bowl.
