This FABULOUS Victorian GWTW Parlor Lamp was manufactured by the Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass, Glass Company around 1905. This rare pattern is known as Hollyhock, Sunken Hollyhock, or Button Tufted. The color is known as Cardinal Red. This lamp is quite large, measuring 24 1/4" tall to the top of the shade with the shade alone measuring 10 1/2" tall. With the exception of the electrical additions, all components of this wonderful lamp are original. The ornate brass font/spill ring and fancy brass base are original and correct for this particular lamp. With the exception of the usual factory roughness and a few shallow flakes around the bottom edge of the shade, the lamp is in excellent condition with NO cracks or hairline cracks. This stunning Victorian gwtw parlor lamp was manufactured by the Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass, Glass Company around 1905. It is truly an eye-catching lamp and comes straight from my personal collection! It measures 20 3/4" to the top of the ball shade, with the shade alone measuring almost 10" tall. Please note that the shade on this lamp is the ORIGINAL factory shade, NOT a modern repainted replacement like you see on so many lamps on ebay. The floral decoration is completely hand-painted and quite well done.pink/burgundy flowers with brown/tan leaves on a cream-colored background with turquoise shading around the top of each section. The lamp is in excellent overall condition with only the usual roughness around the base of the ball shade. The overall size and shape is very pleasing with the fat, squatty base and large 10" shade. ... moreAll metal parts are original and in good condition, including the heat ring on the shade and spill ring around the font. The original marked SUCCESS font was electrified many years ago, however the integrity of the font was not comprised(not sawn or drilled) The reservoir looks to be solid with no cracks and could be taken back to kerosene if desired. The base was also electrified to accommodate a small lightbulb. While both top and bottom sections light up well, I would recommend replacing the wiring if you decide to keep the lamp electrified. There is a small switch on the base which allows for the top, bottom, or both to be lit. As I already mentioned, this lamp could easily be taken back to kerosene if all wiring was removed and flame spreader added. This is a STUNNING and RARE example of a scenic gwtw parlor lamp which dates c. 1900. The scenic lamps are far harder to find than the floral lamps. And this example retains its original 8 1/2" factory ball shade. The overall height, to the top of the ball shade, is 20 3/4" excluding the chimney) The front of the lamp is decal-decorated with scenes of Japanese pagodas nestled in mountainous forest landscapes. The rear of the lamp is decal-decorated with mountainous forest landscapes without the pagodas. The background colors on this lamp are exceptional-the top of both sections is coral in color which shades in to a bright yellow which shades in to a bright green at the bottom of each globe. The paint and decals on this lamp are bright and crisp with no fading or staining. I am not sure who the maker is, most likely Consolidated ... moreor Pittsburgh. The ball shade retains its original brass heat ring and is in excellent condition other than a shallow 1/4" flake along the bottom edge(common for these shades) The base is also in excellent condition with no damage. The original brass font is very attractive though it is missing the flame spreader and the reservoir has the usual stress cracks(would not hold kerosene) The clear glass chimney is included. Rare Consolidated Diamond Drape Yellow Satin Patterned Art Glass GWTW Oil Lamp SCROLL DOWN FOR ALL PHOTOS Description- An Extra Rare Yellow Satin Glass Patterned Art Glass Lamp in the"Imperial" or"Diamond Drape" Pattern made by the Consolidated Lamp& Brass Co. of Coraopolis. Pennsylvania Circa 1900- 1915. This lamp was made in 4 colors and the yellow satin color is by far the rarest. This is the tall base version. This lamp has been electrified. It has some condition issues(see below) but is still a dramatic and very rare lamp and displays wonderfully. The chimney is definitely an old one, but I don't think it's the original one. The chimney is very elegant looking but doesn't fit quite right. Size- The Lamp is 27-1/2" tall to the top of the Globe shade(Not including the chimney) The shade is 10-1/2" ... morein diameter and 10-1/4" high. The top opening is about 3-1/4" across and the bottom fitter rim is not quite 4" across. Condition- It's a great looking lamp in generally Good Vintage Condition. There are No cracks. Scratches or repairs, but there are some condition issues. The worst of these is a large chip on the fitter rim that measures not quite 1" across and about 3/8" deep. It does NOT go beyond the fitter rim into the body of the shade. This is the ONLY chip on the lamp. There are 3 small flakes on the body of the lamp base. They are all together in the same area of the base and are shown in the last photo. The largest of these flakes is about 1/4" in diameter. There is one very small ding(less than 1/8" in diameter) on the shade that is shown in the next to last photo. I photographed all of these little flakes& dings in light that would make them show up more than they do without special lighting. The lamp displays beautifully. As always. Antique Fenton Glass GWTW Gone With The Wind LAMP Victorian Arts & Crafts Era
This is for a wonderful Gone With The Wind Lamp. I bought this from an estate many many years ago. I was told. At the auction, that this lamp was made by Fenton. This lamp is two feet or 24" tall and has all of it's original parts. It is marked on the bottom F11 and weighs over 10 lbs. There are no chips or cracks to the glass globes and the only thing I see, is some wear to the metal on the center part of the lamp, see pics A magnet does not stick to the metal so it is either bronze or brass. This is a three-way lamp. It has the nightlight in the bottom, the bulb at the top. You can light them singularly or together. The roses on this lamp are raised on the outside of the globes and inverted on the inside. The glass is a white satin glass inside the globe and gold on the outside, then clear over the gold? The top globe is larger ... morethan the bottom. This looks like the end of the Victorian Era and the beginning of the Art Nouveau Period in the Arts and Crafts Era. Hi There! This is a classic pair of Electrified Oil Gone With the Wind Lamps. That are actually a little unusual. They are solid Brass, with Marble Base's and Duplex Burners. They stand 27 inches high(2 ft. 3 inches! about 15 inches wide at the widest. There are 21 crystals on one, and 11 on the other. I plugged them in and they do light up. The part where the lamp actually goes in is loose. And the on/off switches are loose. The Ruffled Glass Shades,The actual glass is Amber Colored. I suggest that you have the lamps gone through by a professional before actually using- please! I believe this was an early 1900's Fenton pattern made for L.G.Wright Co. I did however have another ebayer contact me and stated this was an old Pittsburg lamp, in case it is spectacular! The satin ruby red color is stunning and the pattern is called Iris. The embossed Iris pattern is continuous all the way around the globe and the base. The ruby glass is extremely thick which makes which gives this lamp a nice weight. The lamp measures 29 1/2" tall to the top of clear chimney. The top globe measures about 11 1/2 inches in diameter. This is for an Outstanding Antique Victorian Floral Glass GWTW Lamp just as found from a local Estate. The lamp was electrified some years ago with a triple switch and works perfectly. The original glass globes are without chips. cracks or repairs and really give off a warm glow. The upper lamp shade is signed and dated under the bottom lip. The lamp stands just over 24 inches tall and the top shade is about 9 inches in diameter. The frame is ornate and in great condition. The chimney is approximately 11 3/4 inches tall. Vintage Old GWTW Oil Style Parlor Hurricane Large Hand Painted Table Lamp EC NR!
For your consideration today is this great estate sale find of a vintage large GWTW style parlor lamp. The lamp features large hand painted roses designs surrounded by green leaves. The hand painted designs cover the entire front side of the lamp and the backside is undecorated. The colors are a light purple pink color against a creamy white background. The condition of the glass is great for its age no chips or cracks. There is very minor paint wear if you look closely but nothing that affects the display. The only real thing to mention is tiny flea bite nicks and roughness to the fitter end of the large top shade. These are expected and of course do not show on display. The lamp is being sold as found and will need a light cleaning. The lamp lights the three ways top. Bottom, or both at the same time. The ornate shade ring has holes for ... moreadding dangling crystal prisms if desired. I have shown this in pic 10 however there are no prisms included in the auction. The lamp measures 24" high with the top shade in place, 14" high to the shade holder, and 8" across the widest part of the metal base. It will measure taller if you add an interior glass chimney. This lamp did not have one when I purchased it. The lamp is in great working condition with the original cord and non-polariazed end plug. The only markings are on the bottom of the metal lamp base Faulkenstein and some numbers. See pic 11. Due to this lamps large size it must be shipped in 2 separate boxes. This adds to the shipping costs but it is the only safe way to ship an item this large and fragile. Bottom globe is 6 inches high& 9 inches across. The round knob has Eagle- Made in USA marked on it. The lamp is typical of lamps made circa 1880's- 1915. It does say Made in US America on the wick knob. It has a dark spot like paint on top globe near metal ring the size of salt grain see next to last pictures so you can see it on the top globe. Beautiful hand painted daisies. The lamp has been 3-way electrified and lights up top& bottom. It is a frosted pink with raised white leaves and little flowers on the top shade and base which all sit on a antiqued brass finished base. It is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks just some normal signs of wear. But look close at all pictures and you will see that there is very little wear on the brass parts just very pretty. It also has a brass plated turn key which is three way so you can use the bottom only, top only or both. Also has a clear glass hurricane shade that fits inside the shade. Antique GWTW Electrified Green Oil Lamp - Handpainted Floral - FC Co. 617
This beautiful antique"Gone With the Wind" style Victorian oil lamp has been converted to electric. The shade of green shows a little light in the pictures; it's a pastel lime green. No shade. Works great. But needs a quick repair, as the bulb socket is depressed(sinking into the body of the oil well) and needs to be pulled into position. I don't want to take it apart since I know nothing about repairing these. Handpainted multicolor floral design on both sides, bottom metal stand is impressed FC CO on one side and 617 on the other. No chips or cracks, in lovely condition. About 12.25" in height, not including the bulb.

I got it at an estate sale with the lamp base shown in the photos. It is not nearly nice enough for this fantastic shade. The soft frosted peach color is decorated with lovely hand painted flowers. There is a spot you can see on the shade. It is a price sticker that was not removed before the photos were taken. I would say it is in very good vintage condition. There is some minor roughness on the bottom edge(unseen) That is to be expected from a piece of this age. This shade has probably been removed and replaced hundreds of times. Aside from the bottom edge, there are no chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs. The are a few"rub marks" on the back side of ... morethe shade. It looks like it may have rubbed against a painted wall. Please use my photos as well as my written description as testimony to the condition. This is a big shade. The bottom is 11-3/4" in diameter to fit nicely in a 12" rim. AT the widest point it is 14-1/2" in diameter. The top opening is 7-1/2" in diameter. The inner clear glass is 14" tall with a 3" opening at the top. I do not think the turned wood base is appropriate for the shade so I am selling the shade alone. But if you want the base too, let me know and I'll get a shipping price for it. I bought this lamp for my mother in early 70's from Bermann Electric(top distributor of beautiful lighting in my area) It is a imported hand painted lamp from Italy. The top was broken and discarded years ago. But I kept the bottom just because it was so beautiful. Cleaning out the house and hoping someone else would like to give it a home. Description: Bottom only. 3-way lighting, bottom lights separate and top light separate and both light together. All work. Newer cord is 7 ft long. Footed brass base. stands 12 inches high to the ring, plus 1/2 inche to top of burner. The ring has a 10 inch diameter across and the bottom globe is 38 inch circumference and approx 13 inches across. No cracks or chips and ring is strong sturdy.
