Vintage Jewelry Box Music Box Florentine Style Wood Gold White Red Roses Japan
Decorate in style with this vintage Florentine Style jewelry box/music box. It features a top that opens up to reveal a mirror. A 2 x 7 1/2 in. top tray and a 4 1/8 x 8 7/8 in. bottom tray. There are two bottom drawers that pull out, they have an interior dimension of 2 1/2 x 3 5/8 in. The overall dimensions are 9 in. tall and 10 1/2 in. wide. The depth is 5 1/2 in. It is gold, white, red, orange and green. There are red roses on it. I do not know what the song is. The music box works but it seems to run a little slow. It could be the song, but I don't recognize the tune to tell for sure. It is sold in as is used condition showing wear from use and storage with chippiness, scratches and edgewear. This lot includes 4 sherbet glasses made in the florentine number 1 pattern having the ruffled footed base. They are about 3" tall. 3 1/4" wide at the mouth and have a 2 1/4" wide ruffled edge base. They are in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. They are a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning. We have recently purchased a major estate of a serious collector of all things unique. Florentine No.1 Poppy 18 Pc. Luncheon Set for Four Includes Parfaits Platinum
This pattern was produced by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company in the 1930's. The set includes four 9" plates. Four cups, four saucers, four 6" footed parfaits and a cream and sugar. They are clear with platinum or silver trim on the edges. All pieces are in perfect condition with the exception of two of the 9" plates, both of which have a shallow quarter inch chip on the top rim which has removed the metallic trim but left the glass underneath intact. I believe that this set is quite unusual and would be of interest to the Florentine collector.

They show very little if any signs of use even when held up to the ... morelight. There may be straw marks or air bubbles in the glass, that are commonly found in vintage depression glass.
