The inside mattress area measures 57 1/2 inches wide by 74 3/4 inches long and should fit a full size mattress set nicely, but one should always measure their own mattress set to assure proper fit. The height from the floor to the top of the sides rails at the enter measures 14 3/4 inches.The bed sets up solid and tight and very sturdy. Set of 7 antique cast iron latching plates for window sash latch and 1 sash latch. The latch is good condition. There is up and down play in the handle, not sure if this is normal or from wear. there are a couple of faint hairline cracks in the porcelain knob but no indication of cracking apart. The latch mounting plate measures 2 1/2" x 3/4" the latching plates are 2 3/16" long.

OK it is time for the sale of my life. A lifelong antique dealer I have ended up here in rural Canada surrounded by antique trunks of my old collections. Of things that just do not work here, just are not needed here. I live right on the border I can see Maine from my porch for real but live in Canada and it's like going from Montreal to a town like you'd see in a 1960s Peyton Place. Although where I live is more like Peyton Place on Fire(PPOF) it is fashionable, but nobody needs 300 tablecloths or antique draperies for days. There are no draperies in rural Atlantic Canada only curtains. I do not know what it was meant to be used for but the closest guess would be a Master Sugar bowl. This is an ornamental section of a fireplace mantel. It was screw mounted to a rectangular fireplace opening creating a pleasing archway spandrel. Screw holes run along the perimeter.
