1920'S SCHUMANN DRESDEN RETICULATED LARGE PLATE LOVELY
This reticulated plate is a lovely example of the fine craftsmanship of Carl Schumann. The plate is decorated in the Dresden style with colorful rococo flower prints. The rim is smooth and flowing with gold gilding. Which makes a striking contrast to the bright rainbow of the delicate flora. The most stunning aspect of the piece is the pierced rim, cut in elaborate designs. The underside of the dish is stamped in blue with the Schumann crest below which is written, Schumann Dresden measuring 9.5 inches in diameter. With no damage apart from some wearing to the gilding. The underside of the base in marked with a crown over a shield with three spear heads in blue with golden laurels on each side and the number 1817 below, Made in Germany stamp in blue under glaze. Unbelivable details abound! A yound boy and girl, dressed in 18th century attire, surrounded by a plethera of fantastic colorful flowers, pick golden fruit from the hanging branches of a tree. The girl works the lower branches as the boy uses a ladder to get the higher hung fruit. Thier dog sets at the base of tree as if waiting for a fallen fruit. Overhead is the reticulated bowl with colorful flowers. Inside the bowl are more painted flowers. The piece measurements are approximatly 17-1/8" ... moretall. The bowl is 11-1/2" wide x 4-1/8" deep. The base is 7-3/8" wide. I have examined the piece and have found what may be one small chip in the purple rose petal. It could have been there forever but I thought I would mention it. The pictures tell the condition better than anything. I have more pictures so if your interested let me know. This piece is going to be expensive to pack. Most unusual Victorian German Dresden Rudolstadt Volkstedt wine/ water jug a cherub like boy sittting at the base of the stem amongst the grape and vine leaves, the handle fashioned as a vine stem with a pink ribbon attatched. The jug stands an elegant 8 and 1/2" high, around 6" across the body with no cracks but does have some losses to leaves with the bunch of grapes to the side of the cherub looking like they have been restored. Still a very nice looking piece and quite usable. As a vase maybe? The base has the Victorian Rudolstadt Volkstedt cross sword marks mark circa 1880-90. Dresden Porcelain Ramekin and Underplate
Up for sale is a Dresden Ramekin. The under plate measures 4 7/8" and ramekin measures 3 1/8" The base of the ramekin seems to have 2-3 areas where the points are not perfect. Although extremely minor. They could be tiny chips. These are not noticable when placed flat on a surface. Also, the inner verge line on the plate has some gold loss. THIS AUCTION. This auction is for a gorgeous soup tureen. It is very large. Approx. 13" tall! The body of the tureen is white with heavy gold painting and detailing. It has two elaborate handles accented with gold and a knob handle on the top of the lid also heavily gilded. The lid has an opening for a ladle(not included) The bowl sits up on a pedestal type base. The design is that of delicate flowers and vines in shades of orange, yellow and burgundy plus intriquite butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, and other insects.There are also lots of gold accents on the body of the piece as well. It is well marked on the bottom: Dresden Handgemalt(in gold and I believe it means handpainted) 073.445(handwritten in red) and F.H. hand printed in gold. ~Large Vintage Dresden Platter~ This platter is very very old. I am not sure about the pattern. The design has a large leaf and three small daisy like flowers. It measures thirteen and a half long by ten inches wide. It is about one inch deep. Which is why I said it could be used as a shallow bowl or dish. The mark on the back reads DRESDEN SEMI-PORCELAIN. Elegant porcelain pedestal compote dish signed by Carl Thieme. This dish has a scalloped reticulated edge and hand painted flowers with gold trim. This is a great collector's piece! This dish is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. However. It does have a very faint scratch on the underside of the dish that is barely visible but can be felt with a fingernail. These pieces date to circa 1880-1910. The urns are predominantly green. White, and gold. The urns are beautifully hand-painted and hand-gilded, with an amazing degree of skill and attention to detail. Much of the gilding design is done in relief, raised from the surrounding porcelain. On both sides of each urn there is a very realistically rendered bouquet of assorted colorful flowers. All of the decoration is very well done. These urns sit on a pedestal base which is bolted on. These are beautiful antique porcelain pieces, and would be an asset to any home's decor. One of the urns is in excellent condition. With no chips, no cracks, and no ... morerepairs. Six antique. Unmarked Schumann bread and butter plates. Six are hobbyist hand-painted with pansies, violets and sweet peas. The other two appear to be factory decorated and have Dresden strewn flowers; one has the hand-painted addition of gold dots. The plates have pierced rims edged in gold and are 6.5" wide. Four have white backgrounds: two with Dresden flowers. One with violets and one with pink sweet peas. One plate has an off-white background with violets, and the final plate has a lavender background with purple pansies heavily outlined with gold. Some have minor gold loss on the pointed edges. Beautiful Vintage Dresden Hand Painted 16.5cm Vase Floral design. V G Condition
This is a beautiful vintage Dresden hand painted china vase. Which measures 16.5cm tall. It is decorated with a different delicate floral spray on each side, finished with scrolling gilded artwork on the rim and base. The vase is in very good condition. On the rim there is a minute 1mm shallow nick in the gilding, which I think is from the manufacture as it is gilded over. It is not something you would notice, and you would have to really look for it. Otherwise there is no damage at all of any kind, and very little wear indeed to the gilding. It is a very elegant vase with high quality art work, and displays beautifully.

This listing is for an elegant Capodimonte male figurine with the lace and flowers indicative of Dresden figurines. This is a quality piece measuring 8" in height. There is a Capodimonte mark on the back of the base and the signature Cappe or Cappo. I know enough about Capodimonte to be thoroughly confused. The lace on the neckpiece has some breakage(please refer to pictures.
