You can see ever so slight split around nails. 1991 is inscribed on bottom. I think that indicates date of manufacture but I don't really know. I'm sure there are many more years of hands on enjoyment in this wonderful basket. Bottom of basket shows some scuffing. Thanks for looking and choosing our basket. But will try to describe to the best of my knowledge.Please help with description if you know more about this bow. This is for a Antique Silver Mounted Violin Bow by Richard Weichold. Dresden. Circa 1880-1890? It is approx 29 1/8" long. Richard Weichold was born in Dresden in 1823 and studied bowmaking under Pfretzschner in Markneukirchen– then the leading bowmaker in Germany. He moved to Hamburg. But later returned to Dresden w he remained until his death in 1902. Weichold was considered to be one of the leading bowmakers during the late 19th century. ... moreHe was the preferred supplier of bows to the foremost virtuosi of his day– Henley refers to some“magnificent” bows that contributed to the comfort and skill of leading soloists of the 19th century. You can google this bowmaker and see that his work sells in the thousands. There are no cracks in the wood. No breaks, etc. Stick is straight(no waves) and is all the way to the end in octagonal shape. The length is approximately 29 1/8" The weight the way it is shown is 54.5 grams. Bow appears to be silver mounted. The frog works fine and is attached firmly(no chipped wood, etc) and works with no problems. The eye(pastille) on the frog is mother of pearl and the frog I believe is made of ebony. One pastille is missing. The slide is also mother of pearl and please see all the engravings on the slide and adjuster. The tip of the bow is missing(piece which usually appears to be ivory, Bow of course needs to be rehaired. So I am selling the bow as is. This is rare offering on ebay. Please ask questions if any. Fine line at the outside bottom of the pitcher. doesn't compromise the strength or integrity of the piece. The pitcher measures 8" to the top of the spout. 7" wide from handle to spout, 5-5/8" wide at the bottom. The cups measure 4-1/2" high and 3-3/4" wide from handle to opposite opening.

Inside we find a pull-out blue glass shelf, and 4 compartments. Piano hinges, solid hardware, the cabinet is veneered on the back as well. This cabinet is reminiscent of Bruno Paul designs. Dimensions: approximately 29 3/4″ high. 31 1/4″ wide, 17 1/2" deep. Condition: beautiful quality construction. Very good unrestored antique condition with nice warm patina. Some imperfections on the finish consistent with age. This cabinet was pierced in the back to accommodate electrical wires. Please see the pictures. DC with a man gesturing towards the building. The transfer is marked“Sight Seeing/Perm. C’P’R’T. Moffatt, Yard& Co. 1908. The base of the mug is marked“Dresden/China” The mug measures 3-3/8” in diameter and 3-5/8” tall and is in poor condition with a hairline crack 2” long to the left of the image and some very slight loss to the image but otherwise good. Pair of Dresden 3 Light Candelabra Porcelain Floral Candle Elegant
This pair of Dresden 3 light porcelain candelabras came from an auction in Vermont. They are in very good condition. No chips or cracks, unless the flower leaf in the 9th picture is chipped. It is hard to tell. The bottoms are marked Dresden. They measure 6 1/4" high and 9" across the top at the widest point. The base measures 4 3/8" in diameter. They are lovely with delicate, bright flowers, orange, pink, lavender, yellow.

This auction is for a wonderful Dresden figural candle holder. 1 st quality and measuring 13 ½” tall and the base is 6” square. The only damage I see is what looks like a early restoration to the arm of the cherub drinking wine(see pictures) This is hardly noticeable and could easily be professionally restored if desired. I have some other wonderful porcelain including Von Schierholz. Beautifully decorated and ornate Carl Thieme Dresden porcelain Rococo Revival style 4 socket candelabra. 15 ⅛ inches high x 9 ⅝ inches wide, made by( Saechsische Porzellanfabrik zu Potschappel von Carl Thieme/ Saxonian Porcelain Factory) Appropriately marked under-glaze in the blue LT Dresden, backstamp. The candelabra consists of three pieces. The bottom two bolted and the top one fits into a brass lined well in the central column. The light graceful design of fanciful form uses various ornamental curves and c-scrolls. A candle socket is raised high on the central column and surrounded by three other evenly spaced lower candle sockets each at the end of a curved arm with the whole resting on a slightly domed base having three scroll feet. The white porcelain body resembles an embossed leafy tree trunk highlighted with gilt and encrusted ... morewith abundant realistic carefully applied hand-modeled/ hand-painted flowers with foliage, plus hand-painted surface floral decoration. Rare! Antique German Porcelain Karl Ens Volkstedt Figurine Group Dresden Figure
This is a gorgeous large antique figural grouping created by the Karl Ens Volkstedt factory of Germany. It is a large stunning Blanc de Chine figural group depicting a romantic couple playing music in the garden with a cherub overlooking above. Two little lambs are also present. One on the ground and the other behind them. It displays beautifully. There is a little damage. The thumb on the lady is broken and also one ear on the lamb on the ground and the gentleman's coat corner has a small chip and the bottom of the arrow bag on the back of the cherub. Even with these damages, you don't readily notice them on display due to the figure being white and the size and detail of the grouping. Very heavy weighted. The center is hand painted(over transfer) flowers highlighted with gilding around the rim. The handpaitned backstamp is a German crown mark, used by several German and Dresden firms. Art Deco Gorgeous Dresden Mesh Whiting & Davis Mesh Purse
Absolutely stunning Art Deco Dresden mesh purse! Beautiful condition. Silver with blue, green and a deep purple swirling design. Frame, clasp and chain handle are gold.Frame has a delicate scroll and leaf type design.There are nor tears in the mesh, majority of links are secure to the purse frame. A very few links not intact at the very corners hinges where the purse opens, but the area is extremely small. Other then in the hinge corners, all links are intact including all in the delicate gorgeous bottom fringe. Colors are still deep without any obvious faded spots. I think that any fading looks to be in the darker purple area, but it's difficult to tell. The majority of the lining is still intact, including a small pocket. This is unusual, as most of these purses have lost their lining by now. The lining does have a couple of holes(see ... morephotos) and has separated from the corners. The gold frame is slightly worn to to age but still clearly very shiny and clearly gold in color.Lovely chain handle has no discolor. Dimensions are 8" from bottom of fringe to tip of clasp, width is approximately 3.5" Handle is 6" long. I have done my best to describe this item in accurately and detail including all flaws. There was a tag on it when I bought it that said it comes from Elizabeth City, N.C. It is definitely unused. Very crisp, sturdy feeling quilt. The stitching is beautiful& consists of braid& grid. ADORABLE QUILT BLOCK Antique Vintage 1 DRESDEN PLATE Quilt Block. Very Cottage Chic. c.1925-40. Found in Illinois. Size: Approx. 10 inches across. There are 16 Multi-colored petals that are 4 inches long and 2" wide consisting completely of dress and apron cotton fabrics of the day. A 4 inch square piece of Antique yellow cotton fabric will be included for use in the center of the block. All edges are basted under even the 2" center hole with no fraying. Never laundered. Coffee pot, covered sugar, creamer and waste bowl. I sold the set July 2012 to an ebay customer in Alaska who was giving it to her daughter as a gift. The daughter did not want the set. So the customer returned the set but did not package it properly. Consequently there was some damage. I took the set to an appraiser and was told. He would appraise 3 of the 5 pieces, as the other 2 pieces had age related wear and insignificant flaws in his opinion. The set in it's current damaged condition has a fair market replacement cost of $4810.00 US dollars. This price reflects the depreciation of the 3 appraised pieces.
