Antique Mysterious Wooden Wall Clock Running & Striking with long old glass
Antique Mysterious Long Wooden Wall Clock Running Striking- has very long old glass. Banjo Clock not included just for size comparison) Now this clock is unknown to me. I have shown as much of the old case as I can. I can't photograph the bubbles in the glass but they are there and it sure looks old to me. The movement is mounted on the back of the clock like a Vienna clock is and slides into a metal frame by releasing two finger knobs. The case is shown in the photos in detail because if you know age you'll see it. Of course it should have knocks and bumps commensurate with its age which add character but I couldn't find any major damage and it still looks really great. The brass dial looks wonderful. Shiny and clean with gorgeous ornamentation. This clock is not only classy it is running quite well. It is supplied with key and ... morependulum as shown. Very suitable for a large home. This clock worked when we took it off the wall after my father passed in 2004. Since then it has been in the back bedroom I just have not had time to mess with it so I am hoping to find someone who will. I dusted it a little and cleaned the glass. I can not open the back easily for fear of messing something up. I will if someone asks. I put my iPhone in the bottom and shot a picture. I put the key in and it easily wound to the left. I am sure it will work with a small amount of effort and a large amount of know how. That's its story. Nice clock seeks better owners. It's in outstanding condition with one notable exception, two rivets have been ground off of one of the battery holders in the interior. Why this was done remains a mystery. There looks to be no other damage and should be in good working order. The movement operates well manually but requires two 1.5 volt batteries to operate it. Antique Oak-Cased 8-Day Time and Strike Wall Clock This is a handsome wall clock with a very nice oak case. It strikes on the hour and half-hour and is an 8-Day movement. The dial is marked“Manufactured by Seikosha. Tokyo, Japan” Seikosha was founded in 1892 by Kintaro Hattori and it produced clock like this one until the 1920’s. It is the forerunner of the modern Seiko watch company. The case appears to be made of Oak with very nice detail. The clock measures approximately 30”H X 13 ¼”W X 6 1/2”D. The clock appears to be complete. But is not running. I am not a clock expert and cannot guarantee it. All statements regarding age. Regulator Antique Vintage Wall Clock C B Parts Repair Adjustment
We found this old Regulator clock at an estate sale. There was a note on it that said it worked but when I wound it and tried to get it going. It runs for a few minutes and then stops. Since I don’t know anything about clock repair. I did not make any adjustments or try to level the clock. The other thing I noticed is that when the clock is on the hour or ½ hour. The hammer moves but it did not hit the gong. It looks a little bent and probably just needs adjustment. Here are the other things that I can tell you about the clock: The total dimensions are 25” high x 10 ½” wide x 5 ½” deep. The lettering on the face is in very good condition. There are some scratches to the background of the face and some slight bends in the metal. Particularly on the top between the 11-1 and on the bottom between the 5-7. The hands are in good ... morecondition. The pendulum has some finish issues to the brass. The pendulum will be removed for safe shipping. The key is included. The only markings on the movement are the letter C& B(see photos) The movement is attached to a piece of wood which slides into some other wood pieces in the clock case. There are 2 screw pieces that hold the wood in the case. The case has some wear to the finish. The door clasp is in good condition as are the glass pieces on the front and 2 sides. The fret work was cut with a saw but the carving was done by hand. The back is 19 inches long and 12 inches wide and the half-circle shelf extends out 5 1/4 inches. The shelf is in very good condition with no damage or repairs but the finish is very worn. A terrific old Victorian shelf and a nice refinishing project. I have owned and restored several of these so I have a bit of experience with this particular Gilbert model. Antique Wall Clock Warren Telechron Bakelite. Electric Movement, AM PM Setting Model M1- Latest Patent Date 1925 This antique Telechron wall clock does run. However it makes a buzzing noise when plugged in. Also I did not test it to see if it keeps time accurately. Also I cannot say for certain if the clock is missing any parts. As for the condition otherwise. The case is in very good condition. The face of the clock appears to have been molded with the numerals being painted, all of which are in very good condition as well. This clock does have a somewhat unusual feature. If you note on the clock face there is a hole directly under the numeral 12. That hole serves as a sort of peep hole. Which behind it sets a colored round disk. The color of the disk(either black or red) designates whether its AM Or PM Hours. The color of the disk is synchronized ... morewith the time(AM/PM) Made from Bakelite. The clock case is 12 sided shape- a Dodecagon. The diameter is approx. 8 and 1/4 inches. This is a Regulator A wall mount clock made of mohagony wood in the early 1900's. A local antique clock retailer and repair shop in my area just opened and inspected the clock and dated it from 1905 to 1920. Clock is all original except for 4 screws that were added to adjust the position of the movement. Which is original. He could not find the makers mark but verified it is the original and that it is in excellent working condition for age.There has been no refinishing so you will see some wear of time. View pictures carefully before bidding. It keeps relatively good time and chimes every half hour. This clock would retail for $350 plus in a shop. This clock is loaded with images including an angel at the top and a lion at the bottom. There are allegorical insets just above and beneath the clock face. There are also faces on either side of the clock face and an abundance of swirls and flowers throughout the frame. This large clock measures 30" tall x 21" wide. It is quite heavy. The clock face is surrounded by roses and ribbons and the numbers are white porcelain with black Roman numerals. The movement is signed Lenzkirch and is numbered 485500. Based on the serial number, I believe this clock dates to the 1870s. The clock face fits into the frame and is removable, as shown. Part of the outer metal of the clock face is bent(please see ... morelast photo) That part is a lighter sheet of metal which can probably be straightened out by someone who has the proper tools and more strength than I have. There is one screw missing and one of the wings at the top looks like it may have been repaired. There is only one hand on the dial, so the hands will have to be replaced, and I do not have a key. Because I do not know what it would take to fix this clock, I am selling it in"as is" condition for restoration. Up for your bidding consideration is this antique Haller(DGRM) German pendulum wall clock. This clock is in overall good to very good original condition and displays very nicely. It does work for awhile then stops after about 15 minutes. When I remove the pendulum. It runs very quickly, but does not shut down, so I am assuming there is some adjustments(and maybe a bit of servicing) needed to make this old clock run great. It is 100% original to the best of my knowledge. It does appear to be missing two(2) decorative wooden pieces on the door front(see pictures) and possibly a decorative wooden piece on the very bottome of the clock. The top of the clock appears to be complete as there are no signs that a top finial piece would have been present(groves or slots for a decorative wooden piece to be inserted. The clock face, pendulum and key ... moreall appear to be original to the piece and are all in good condition. The bright metallic parts do show some aged patina(tarnish) which could be polished out or left as is. This clock measures about 40" tall, 17" wide and 8" deep. WORKING Antique Bulova Wall Clock Electric Wood Back 16"
This is an old BULOVA wall clock from a store or factory or school probably. The back is about 16 1/2 inch in diameter. The glass which is in great shape is 12 inches in diameter. I do not know the age of this clock. I wish I did. It has a clock motor that you have to start manually that they used to have Wayback. I plugged it in and it kept perfect time for two weeks straight. The back of the clock is made of wood. I could find no markings on it other than the Bulova on the front. There is some paint overspray on the side of the clock that I took a picture of. The chrome ring around the glass is in need of a good cleaning, and may have some dippeling on it.

Includes wooden face, hands, and brass works. Missing weights, and key, but includes pendulum and crank. Case is in nice condition for its age with some nicks and dings as expected with age. FOR ALL OF YOU CHOCOLATE LOVERS OUT THERE COMES THIS RARE TREASURE! From a clock collectors estate comes this turn of the century Suchard chocolate advertising wall clock. Philippe Suchard(9 October 1797– 14 January 1884) was a Swiss chocolatier and industrialist. There is a lovely scene of the four young girls. Which is a decal fixed under a convex oval glass on the lower front of the clock case. The round convex upper glass covers the dial of the clock. The 5" dial is made of celluloid in an ivory color and has black Roman numerals. Markers and the writing"CACAO SUCHARD" The dial has a brass bezel and an inner brass decorative round. There is a single winding hole for the spring driven. Time only, pendulum, presumed 8 day brass movement. The clock is currently running; although I am selling this clock"AS IS" With ... moreno implied guarantee or warranty. The main wooden case, except for the rear surface is painted throughout with an ivory colored paint. The front surface of the clock door appears to be a celluloid material laminated to the wood with the decor and lettering somehow'printed' into/ onto the celluloid. There is a French lavender style of plant surrounding the glasses on front with the color of the leaf used to write"SUCHARD" and the color of the flower used to write"CHOCOLAT" The three young girls are each holding a chocolate bar of the type listed below them; left to right. MILKA, VELMA, NOISETTINE" while the youngest girl in the background gives an inquisitive look! The pendulum rod is wooden with a silver plated bob; there are scratches to the bob and some of the plating is worn through. The upper and lower glass are in very good condition as is the lower decal under the glass. Vintage Antique Seth Thomas Pendulum Wall Clock Old estate find. This is a Key Wound Wood Case Wall Clock made by Seth Thomas of Thomaston, Conn. The face appears to be paper and there is some fading of the numbers toward the bottom. It is marked on the bottom, Manufactured in the United States of America" There is a latch on the back to open the glass cover on the dial and there is one key winder. The clock is working right now, it has been running for about 32 hours but I don't think it will run for 8 days. I am not sure if that is how long it is supposed to run or if it should run longer. There is a little window on the bottom with a door that lifts up to access the pendulum. Inside this window is a paper label on the back that has instructions on how to hang the clock and also the name of the Seth Thomas Company. I'm not ... moresure what color this clock was originally. It is now a pale yellow or cream color. There is some pink paint on the bottom clock frame and on the pendulum box. I don't know if it could be removed or if the clock would need to repainted or stripped. The clock is 24" tall and 16" across the face cabinet. Everything else, including the finials and glass, are original and perfect. Both springs are still strong and the enamel face and fancy hands are perfect. The problem is the large gilded brass pendulum. At the top is a small piece of spring steel which is broken so I cannot attach this pendulum. I will guarantee that there is nothing major wrong with the clock works that a cleaning and maybe an adjustment won’t fix. Antique German Black Forest Reverse Painted Picture Frame Wall Clock This is a beautiful antique German Black Forest Picture Frame Wall Clock. Ca. 1860's. This clock has a wooden casing with a ring at the top for hanging. It has a reverse painted or possibly chromolithographed picture of a quaint countryside village setting. This clock has no markings, except a few names written in pencil on the back, but are too faint to make out. The clock seems to have it's original glass pieces, with both pieces there- 1 over the face of the clock, and 1 in the door that opens. There are little doors on each side of the clock, which shows pieces of the inter-workings of the clock when looked thru. However, I am not an expert on clocks by any means, so I did not want to open the back to see if any pieces were missing or to test it to see if it ... moreworks. There are 4 holes on the bottom, the 2 middle holes have long chains that hang thru, and 1 hole has a short chain with a hook at the end. When looking at the photo of the bottom, the first hole on the left just has a hook coming thru. There are 2 weights, each weighing approximately 5 lbs. Dimensions: 13.2"h x 8.5"w Condition: Again. I am unsure if this clock works; but due to age, I am assuming it might need the attention and TLC of a clock/watchmaker. There is a small surface crack on the back wooden piece, but it does not go all the way through. Here we have a working Gustav Becker open wag wall clock in great condition. Freshly oiled and running. Ready for your home. This case is very nice. There is some trim missing from the right side. This Clock has been tested and is running as we speak in my Antique Booth. About 42" tall and 16" wide this clock runs as it should. Gonging on the half hour and counting the hours on the hour. Circa early 1900's. It has a plaque on the front dated 1906. Great piece of German clock making history. I package very carefully. All items are placed in 5/8" bubble wrap and cushioned with packing peanuts. This costs extra but is worth it. I insure all items for their worth. The topper is the original for the case and the original wall levelers are present also. There have been several different movements in it during its life. Up for bid is this great estate find from Spring Lake NJ. The man who owned the estate was a clock collector and also restored clocks. Antique German Wall Clock Glockengeläute Two Chime Key & Pendulum Oak Case?
30 by 12 by 6.5 inches on this old German wall clock. Glockengeläute with a pair of wings is inside the case above the movement. I think it is an oak case by the grain in the wood but I am not an expert and could be wrong on this. I found this at an estate in Los Angeles and am selling it the way I found it. It has a small nick on the bottom of the case. Please see the last picture. Key and pendulum is included. The clock runs and has two chimes but will need to be serviced and cleaned for proper use. Selling as is with no gaurantees. I think this clock is from the 1930's or 40's but again I am not an expert and could be way off.
