Here is an antique Ansonia Clock Co. wall clock in an mahogany case. The clock was acquired at an estate sale and was in the parlor for ages I was told. The face plate is 11 1/2" with a brass ring on the inside and the original glass dome glass is chip and crack free and also in a brass frame. The winding ey is included also. The case is clearly marked by the ansonia makers on the inside. The case however needs a bit TLC. The height of the case is 32"

Beautiful and very rare Antique Gustav Becker Wall Clock from around 1908 This stunning clock is an original German Gustav Becker Wall clock from about 1908. It has an 8 day movement and is spring driven. It has a beautiful gong striking at the full and half hour with GB logo. The clock is in good condition for his age. But has some wear and some woodworm holes. The wood is treated against woodworm, so now there are only decorative holes. The Case is made of solid Wood with Walnut veneer finish and beautiful decorated. At the left and right side there is a long right-angular glas s window where you can inspect the movement. The door has 3 faceted gla ss es. Which is very rare, where you can see the movement of the brass pendulum.The dial is in excellent condition and has red 24 hour numbers. This clock has a beautiful 4 piece turned oak bezel frame and is 23 1/4" in diameter. Sits 5 3/4" off the wall. 30 day original movement marked Ansonia Clock Co. This clock dates to around 1914 and was used in railroad stations. Offices and schools. Absolutely beautiful all round style. Large original hands that you can watch move-this clock is so large. Glass looks to be original with waves in the glass. The bent wood glass holders have been replaced but was done well. Paper over metal dial looks original with some staining. The glass face opens upward via a large latch and hinge system for winding. Inner case appears to have the original cream factory paint. Rare Antique Large 13" French Brass Wall Clock- Brevete SGDG- 10 Day Movement, This large brass wall clock has a m ost unusual design having been decorated with various geometric patterns and a beautifully detailed 3 dimensional lizard and butterfly. The clock face is intricate and has roman numerals on enamel plaques. With a 10 day key wound movement the clock is in good working order and keeps good time. There is a red label on the outside of the back cover which reads"Watson& Pelton- 53 St. Sulpice Street- Montreal" and having searched the web for this company the only information I can find about them is that they were in business during the late 1800's so I would assume that the clock dates from around this period. The green label on the inside of the back cover has the operating instructions in both french and ... moreenglish which are still readable but I have not included them as they are too lengthy. Gilbert Regulator A time only wall clock. 28 1/4 H x 15 1/4 W x 4 1/2 D. Runs and keeps time very well. Clock case is in good condition but is missing the top and bottom trim. Movement appears original as does the pendulum although the age has been polished off of it. Dial pan is original. Has been polished as well, and is missing a couple of screws. Dial and hands look too good to be original, so I'll call them a nice replacement. Upper and lower door glass appear to be the original reverse painted glass and are in very good condition. Glass retainers do not look original and the whole door itself is a little loose and needs some attention. Hinges are strong. Door latch is missing. Hook on backside of clock is a replacement. I would categorize this clock as somewhat of a project clock, or a good clock for a novice collector in search ... moreof an inexpensive, great running, nice looking clock. Lots of primitive antiques, farm finds, folk art, and the usual wacky Maureen stuff- you don’t want to miss this week! Oh. I just can't say enough about this one. It is a fabulous piece of hand carved wood folk art in the functional form of a clock, and it is old. I'm calling it a mantel clock in my listing, but there's a metal tab at the back affixed so that it can hang on the wall too. Made of solid wood, this beauty has an age darkened patina that is quite dark. The clock frame appears to be brass, and the cover is hinged in order to open to wind and access the hands of the clock. The cover has old convex glass that is in excellent condition. It's clear- ... morewhat you see in my photos on the glass is reflection. I can't tell if the face of the clock is white, turned almost grey from age- or if it's grey. I'd descrive it as white with a slight grey hue. I'm not totally sure, but I think the numbers of the clock are hand painted- see what you think. They are black to match the black of the hands. I do not know the maker of the mechanisms- I can't find a mark, so I've taken some close ups for you. What I also don't know is if the clock works- I only own one clock key for one of my own clocks and it didn't fit in the two holes in the face- so please know I do not know if it works, and it may not. I'm showing in photo 15 the mechanism inside, that includes a metal pole that goes down through the base, and is bolted on the underside(as seen in photo 22) You can also see in photo 22 that there's another hole next to the one with the pole in it- was there something in there once? It was made circa in 1920 and was called“WILLARD# 13” It has a Waterbury Clock Co 8-day time only movement which winds with a key on the front. It is a very strong runner! The clock is large so the pendulum has a slow regular ticking sound. Banjo Clocks are uniquely American– were invented in the US in the late 1700s by Simon Willard. There are side windows through which the movement and the pendulum can be seen. A new glass window has been installed because the old one had some scratches on it. The full body of this beauty is made of NUT wood and the pendulum is an artwork on its own. The"roof" has 3 ornaments on it. Antique Wood Kienzle-like Wall Clock circa 1900 to 1920
According to my mom. My dad bought this clock at an auction in a small town in northern Missouri in the early 1970s. There was no nomenclature with it. I did find a receipt and what looks like a replacement part inside dated 1974(see pic) Since it has been in storage since the mid 1970s when they moved into the house my mom currently lives in, it is assumed it requires this part to run. My dad just didn't get around to it. Also in with the receipt were/are three keys. One key appears to fit. REVISED: Several people have written to tell me that the'RA' does not necessarily identify it as a Kienzle clock. The style appears to be from 1900 to 1920. I am unaware if parts are original or not. As you can see by the face. The pendulum and the wood, the clock is in very good condition. It measures 29” L x 12.5” Wide at the widest point ... morex 6” deep along the main part. Time Clock is attached to a decent sized board. The dial has a small dent on its edge on the right side which looks like it could be easily straightened. There is some paint loss along the circumference of the dial. Some minor rusting on the hands and on the metal circle inside the dial. The works need a good cleaning! Up for sale is a nice antique Junghan's wall clock with non-working movement. No pendulum, no leader, no key. Very nice case looks like walnut measures 27"long X 13-1/2" wide X 7" deep. Case has three beveled glass panels on lower part of door- no cracks or chips. The gong on the inside is marked Wald-Gong D.R.P. 228475. The movement shows A20. Both the movement in clock and the back of case is marked Junghans with the letter I in center of a star. We are including an extra non-working Junghan's movement for parts. This is a Antique Gustav Becker Large Regulator Wall Clock. Made in Germany. All the clock pieces are there. Fresh Estate Find, AS IS, could be fixed or used for parts. Missing some of the clock case parts. There should be a top piece and a bottom one. Also one side of the top edge is missing and I have the other top edge but not attached. This is a double tablet clock where it features 2 different glass tablets. The upper door exhibits 1 window tablet while the lower door exhibits a reverse painted tablet. It is a large clock measuring approximately 25 1/4" tall x 15 1/2" wide x 4" deep. This stunning timepiece features a stunning hardwood style finish. It is on a hanging weight system where the weights hang down the sides of the interior of the case connected to the movement by strings. Included with this clock is the pendulum. It came from an estate along with 2 others I have also listed. The face is not marked but the pendulum is marked R A so I am assuming those are the initials of the maker. I have not tried to make it run as I don’t know how to hang the pendulum. The face is in nice condition. I don’t what it is made of. As you can tell I don’t know anything about clocks but I will try to answer any questions you have or send any additional pictures. Vintage/Antique Mechanical Wall Clock ( Chimes )
Up for consideration is a vintage mechanical chiming wall clock. The clock runs and chimes. I have not run the clock in about six years or so. Cleaning and oiling is recommended. When I got the clock it ran just fine. I could not run it or display it because my wife did not like it and said it made the house look ugly. Since then I have lost the key and pendulum. The glass is held in with puddy and nails. The puddy is dry and is loose in a few spots, the glass is still secure. The dial is cardboard and shows signs of its age. I would estimate that the clock is from about 1935-40, It may have been a school clock. Pricing to sell. This is a great clock to add to your collection or re-sell at an antique store.
