They both have the best quality chime rods and when the hammers are set at optimum height the chime and strike sound quality is very good indeed. These very high quality French Clocks were equipped with several little touches like the chime rod lock downs top and bottom. Both pendulum and key holder for transit, interior wall levelers, beat scale and all brass hinges. This clock has 8 chime rods all of which are intact and working condition. The clock casing is in superb condition for its age. The glass is not broken, cracked or scuffed in any way although there is some minor gilding loss. Up for auction is this beautiful A minex wall clock. It is in excellent working condition.If you buy this clock it does not need you to wind it. I already did so I could see if it worked so please do not wind it. It just needs to be hung up and it is ready to go. It measures 30 in x 15 in x 5 in. The 15 inches is across the face cover.As you can see in picture 9 there is a place on the inside of the door. It does not show unless the door is open. Plus there is so me scrapes on it. It sounds wonderful. It dings to the o'clock such as 8 times for 8 o'clock and so on. It also dings once on the half hour. It is a heavy clock so the shipping is more. Antique Mirth Trade Mark 8 Day Wall Clock Aichiken Clockmakers Union
This is an 8 day wall clock in good working condition. It has some unusual labels and trade mark emblems on it. The case and face are not perfect as you can tell by the pictures. I took photo's of the worst places on the case. It keeps good time and strikes the hours well. You might have to do some adjusting to the pendulum if it runs a little slow or fast by the bouncing around it might get during shipment. Ask any questions you might have and use the pictures to help you judge condition for yourself. The duct tape is from a cardboard pad someone added to the back of the case I'm not sure why they put it on there but it runs fine like that so I left it. antique Baird advertising wall clock for restoration
An antique Baird advertising clock for restoration. I don't know a whole lot about them-obviously the advertising has been painted over but. It seems to be pretty close to the original color. You can see some of the letter imprints underneath. The body of the clock really seems to be in pretty good shape. The instructions inside are still all there and readable. It looks like the original clock face. I don't think the hands or the pendulum are original. The top glass is missing- bottom one is there. The clock movement is intact inside, as far as I can tell. Don't know if it works-there is no key with it. The 2 hooks that hold the doors closed are in place. The back appears to be original- along with the metal piece for hanging it. Approximately 13" wide, and approximately 6 3/4" thick. The face of the clock is approximately 5" in diameter and is porcelain. The clock is made of wood with the horse, gears, bell, pendulum, and rim of the clock face made of brass. The glass door of the clock opens to allow access to the clock. The height of the pendulum can be adjusted. The key for winding the clock is included along with a small metal hook. Antique German? Wall Clock Works Beveled Glass in Bottom of Door NICE!
Maker not on dial but there are 2 stickers on the back in German- one with a faded number. Lovely large 25" long wood key wound clock- width at top of clock is 14" X 7" deep. Wound it up a little and it ran for 22 hours. Clicked instead of striking on the hour and half hour. May be turned off and I don't know how that was done. The door on the front has beveled glass on the bottom part- 2 clasps on door to hold it closed- sides of clock are glass- dial is metal with Light(not deep) scratches around winding holes and scratches on center of pendulum. Its case is a gorgeous rich mahogany wooden finish with castle like pediment which is shaped so that an ornament would comfortable sit up there.The ornament in the one photo is not included) Although it is a wall clock. It has no hook or hole to hang it up so it would need a bracket on the wall to sit on or it could sit gloriously on your mantel piece as well. The front glass door has its classic golden design on the glass which is in great condition. It has a bright clean golden face. Very attractive hands and a very unique enamelled design pendulum bob which you don't often see. This clock is not only classy it works extremely well with a nice clear single cathedral ... moregong counting out the hours. It is supplied with a key. This one is for the collector. Classic Rococo asymmetrical shape with'C' scrolls, foliage and floral swags. The dial is enamel on copper with a gilt brass fretted centre, original blued steel hands and bevelled, convex glass. The modelling is crisp and well detailed with a bright and clean gilded finish. The pendulum can be seen swinging below the dial behind a fretted panel. The movement is by the famous French maker Japy Freres and has their mark on the movement backplate. It is in excellent clean and working condition having been fully stripped. Large Antique French Cast Iron & Wood Pendulum Wall Clock w/ Aneroid Barometer

The combination Clock Barometer in this auction is unique, and after ... morenot finding another example on the net, it must be quite rare. Measuring 35” tall by 13 ½” wide and 5” deep, this regulator Wall Clock has a wood case with Bronzed Cast Iron floral& acorn accents on the front. At the top is a 6 ¼” diameter enamel clock face with its original hands. The center glass door shows a 15” long pendulum with an enamel facemarked“R-A. At the bottom, is a 3 ½” diameter paper-face Aneroid Barometer. Which does have some light water stains. On the paper face of the Barometer, as well as on the back of the clock works, is a maker’s mark. This mark looks like the letters X and C with 4 stars above it. Do you recognize this maker’s mark? The quality of this 19th century Clock Barometer is excellent, but there are some restorable problems with the clock. In our close up photographs you can see that are a couple of old fine shrinkage cracks to the wood case. There are also some small post beetle holes along the left& right hand edge of the case, but we guarantee that these critters are long gone and the wood is still solid. Original vintage heating system Model 77 thermostat thermometer regulator with 8 day clock made by Minneapolis Honeywell. It is complete with original key for setting and adjusting and it is in very good condition. Thermometer works great. Back of clock has a serial number of 13655. Has no corrosion or rust issues and always stored well in a cabinet. A little paint is at back edges where it mounted on a wall, will clean up just fine. This unit was taken out when a new modern system was installed years ago. May still operate just fine but I do not know for sure so it is sold as is. All mounting clips work great. Antique Porthole Clock marked Salem Nautical Theme Wall Decor
Antique clock designed to look like a porthole. Marked Salem on front. The glass front measures 6 inches across. The base measures 10.75 inches across, and it stands off the wall approximately 4.5 inches. I do not know if it is in working order; may just need a winding. Does not have a key.
