Beautiful vintage large oak Burl wood wall clock hand crafted antique!
This is a gorgeous piece of wood. The swirly patterns in the grain under the lacquered finish are jaw dropping. Awesome piece for a den.Man cave, or just about any other decor it is absolutely beautiful. The Oak wood was much easier to get years ago but now it is protected so it's becoming much harder and harder to find and this is a very fine example of of what oak burl can be used for. It measures 30 inches across at its widest point and 26 inches from top to bottom. And its just under 4 inches thick! which shows off some beautiful bark pattern on the outer edges. This is a Gustav Becker. 8 Day Regulator Wall Clock Movement with a porcelain Dial original hands original mounting bracket and pendulum a great little porcelain leveling plate. I also have the case for this it is a signed and numbered case but it has issues and is not part of this auction! If you want the case it is an additional 100 dollar and you need to let me know at the end of the auction. This is a working movement I ran it for 4 day it runs and chimes great! The porcelain dial and porcelain center RA pendulum are in wonderful condition I see no lines or chips. The dial is signed the movement is also a signed Silesia movement 8 day time and strike it chimes on the one and one half hour. I see no issues with this movement the dial or the pendulum they are all super nice! The case unfortunately is not part of the auction it is missing ... moreone corner trim piece the top crown and part of the bottom trim. The clock is in really nice original condition, with missing only a small strip of wood at the very top. It comes with two weights and a long pendulum. I believe it takes 3 weights. Adorable Antique Lux KItty Cat Wall Clock W/ Tail Pendulum 1933 Description. Up for bids is an adorable Lux wall clock from ca. 1933. It is a figural cat with a green bow. It is in a straight ahead sitting position with front feet showing and the tail creates the pendulum. Its bow and eyes are green and it has a red mouth. The piece measures 8 1/4" long to the end of the tail and is 4 1/2" wide. The cat front is made from something like syrocco wood and the movement is in a brass case marked with the company name. Location and patent number which dates it to 1933. The clock is not in running condition-the spring seems to be broken since it will not wind. The eyes do move when the tail moves. The cat is in good condition with minor chip on one side. The hands are original and the tail. This particular clock dates back to the early 1950's. I've had it running for quite a long time and then it will stop(probably from lack of maintenance) The bell sounds on the top and half hour. Outstanding Very Ornate Antique French Bronze Cartel Wall Clock Great Pendule
Outstanding Late 19th to Early 20th Century Large French Bronze Cartel Striking Wall Clock. In Excellent, Fully Working Condition Outstanding clock from late 19th century(or very early 20th century) French Cartel clocks are highly collectable. The condition of this clock is superb. Its dial has a few faint hairlines and a tiny repair around the regulation arbor. Other than this I see no damage of any kind anywhere. Porcelain dial is covered by convex bevel glass. Pendulum and striking bell were removed to take a better picture of the movement, but both are included with the clock. The clock runs well, it has a large, 4.25" diameter movement which could be a 15-day type, but I have not run it long enough to find out. It is at least an 8-day wind. The clock measures 26" high and 14" wide(all at the largest measurement points) This is a fairly heavy all bronze clock, so shipping is not cheap. Antique Gustav Becker Wall Clock G B W/Anchor White Porcelain W/Black Checker
This is a really cool Gustav Becker Wall Clock with a great look. The front has a G B with an Anchor in between. I believe the housing is white Porcelain over metal and has some chips in the finish on the side and crazing on the face. It has a pendulum you can see through an opening on the back and it comes with a key. The clock is over wound and doesn't run but the pendulum moves freely. I haven't tried but hope someone can get it working. The design is white porcelain with black print. There's a black checker board design on each corner that gives the clock a great look. The original label inside shows it as high grade 8 day Sessions clock dated to 1902 era. The clock measures 22" tall. 14 1/2" wide at the top; the brass bezel is 10 3/4" wide and the tin dial is 9 1/2" across. The clock works as tested by us on a brief trial, the winding arbors both wind nicely so we are certain there is no gear or spring damage, it appears to keep time and function properly but please assume it will need some normal adjustments and we recommend it be cleaned and oiled. The wood frame has a paper type veneer that resembles tiger oak or tiger maple- check my photos. The frame is also decorated with wonderful metal Art Nouveau buttons along ... moreall the edges, none are missing. There is some minor wear to the paper veneer near the bottom, but much better than most you will find in this style. These are also called short drop school clocks or office clocks. It comes complete with the original gilt pendulum and a fine winding key that fits perfectly. At the turn-of-the 20th century. The E. N. Welch clockmaking firm was struggling. They used a local foundry to produce their castings. The foundry owner's son, William E. Sessions, took an interest in horology and, along with other Sessions family members, bought controlling interest in the E. N. Welch Company. In 1903 the firm’s name was changed and the Sessions Clock Company was organized. Under William's management the firm produced all components of their line of clocks. Including movements, cases, dials, artwork and castings. Sessions realized that the future of clockmaking was moving to electricity so. Front opening door with two glass panels. Upper panel to view clock. Lower panel painted by hand with building and country scene- minor loss to paintwork. Square wood dial. Cream color, split near top. Roman numerals, hand painted with center view of brass movement. 2 weights inside. Different sizes. Has a key. Small pendulum. Has original paper label to inside at back. Offering a beautiful antique Gustav Becker wall clock with a 8 day movement. The clock is 31 inches tall. 13 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The original clock movement has been cleaned and tested so is great operating condition. Movement is marked as P-48. The clock strikes a deep sounding set of three gongs once at the half hour and then counts the number of the hour on the hour. Geat deep and rich tone on this one. Chime rods are marked as Gustav Becker. The wood case is in good condition with only minor age dings. Original finish has been cleaned and looks great. The three lower glass panels are beveled and are original to the clock. The upper glass over the dial also appears to be original to the clock. The 8 inch dial is marked with the Gustav Becker symbol. There are minor scuff and wear marks on the dial. Typical to this age. This is an unrestored original Wrigley Regultor Wall clock from a field office of TideWater Oil Co. There is no documentation that specifies the Tidewater Oil connection. But my grandfather brought it home from his office when it closed and he worked for Tidewater Oil. The face plate glass is cracked. The clock was looked at in the 1990s to see if it would/could work, the clock smith was not too good and just made the clock portion functioal again, claiming that he wasn't able to get the date portion to function. The clock is an 8 day windup. The demensions are: 23" tall, 18" wide and the dial face is 12" in dia. Great Antique Walnut St. Georgian Company hanging wall clock bow glass GERMANY
Fresh out of a local estate is this wonderful St. Georgian Co. Walnut Wall Clock. Because it is an antique clock one can never tell if it is totally original. Look closely at the pictures and ask any questions before bidding. When I took it off the wall it was running but I cannot guarantee that upon arrival. All gears turn properly and freely. Fan wheel works fine and it has a wonderful LOUD chime. If it is not working when it arrives I'm sure it will only be an adjustment. Keep in mind it is about 100 years old. The walnut case is really nice showing no abuse(does need a cleaning) Stands an impressive 30" tall and 15" across at the top of the gallery. On the back of the gallery the mount board has been replaced but not visible from the front. Has a ST metal logo on the inside. The works are drop in works and have screws to ... moretighten it in. Welch& Spring rosewood wall clock. Clock is 25 inches tall and the dial surround is 15 inches across. This is an 1870's vintage clock. Original top glass. Bottom reverse painted glass, ladder movement, hands, dial(the dial has been repainted but it is the original dial) and pendulum. Great label in the bottom but dark, my picture does not do the label justice. The rosewood veneer is almost perfect with just a few very small nicks. The wood surround on the dial is different than most Welch clocks similar to this model and has a painted on rosewood grain that is is great shape. Shipping is $35 anywhere in the US. Here is an 8-day antique wall clock with a light oak case. The case measures 17” x 9” x 4” There is a full front door that opens to wind it. It comes with the pendulum and a key. The movement has just been ultrasonically cleaned. Oiled and checked out. The clock runs good and strong, and it strikes on the half hour and counts the hours on a gong. This clock appears to be all original(except dial) from the early 1900’s timeframe and there are several prior repairmen’s markings dated in the early 1900s marked on the back of the metal dial plate. Here is a great antique clock that is quite uncommon to come available for your buying consideration. Recently acquired it at an estate sale. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself. This beautiful Atkins Equalizing Spring Clock was made in the 1855 to 1858 period. A clock maker by the name of Ives forbid Atkins from using its' wagon spring model and Atkins then switched over the utilizing a fusee movement after that. This clock was made by the Atkins Clock Company in Bristol. CT. Beautiful old case on this piece. The wood appears to be a dark stained mahogany or rosewood. The octagonal case around the face has the rope beading around it making this clock the more ... morerare and preferred one by collectors. The case shows some slight opening at the wood joint seams, so certainly will need some Elmer's glue attention. Also, someone wrote on the exposed wood inside the pendulum door with probably and ink quill pen, but have not been able to decipher all that it says, as is faded from age, but some of it appears to say Rep. Feb 5 1875 appears to be noted) The knobs for the pendulum door and the clock face area match and look appropriate to the clock. The case's finish does show some crazing. All the pieces to the clock case are there. I see no cracks, splits, missing pieces, or repairs. Only exception is that I do see hairline crack in the wood piece under where the pendulum door attaches on right side. The brass hinges to the lower door are brass and appear appropriate to the clock. The glass over the pendulum area looks to be original to the clock. All intact no cracking or blistering of the glass. The bezel is still attached to the case, just a little loose. Bezel shows some finish loss, but no dings, dents, or repairs to ti. The glass over the clock face is intact, no cracks or blistering. There is a scratch to the glass up between the

And 6 1/2 inches(165mm) across the backplate. It is made from carved wood. And has a bevelled edged glass. As can be seen from the photos. It has a nice clean dial with an open centre, which allows the mechanism to be viewed. It appears to work as it should. i.e. when placed in a sealed plastic bag, the needle moves as you would expect when the bag is squeezed. and is in good condition, with no dings or damage.
